Karoz wants me to write nightly about Sam Parr State College developments. He’s turning out to be an interesting boss. So here goes. Samparr 08 completed today, I believe. Probably 2 or 3 more collages left in the series. Karoz visited the TILE Cathedral and gave a hesitant stamp of approval. Certainly he liked Carrcassonnee and his dog Spider set up at the end. “That is our center,” he exclaimed when entering the structure, eyes watering up. “But we have to get more stuff in here,” he added when subsequently looking around. “Come to me Karoz Blogger,” Carrcassonnee beckoned. “I’ve been waiting for you, waiting so long.” So Karoz went and sat in front of Carrcassonnee and they chatted a while. Karoz asked me not to put that dialog here so I’ll just drop a few hints. They talked about TILE, of course. Carr. didn’t even jokingly call it TIE that often, har. Carr. seemed toned down for Karoz, as if they had serious business to discuss. Karoz is a Noru native, and they probably have a long history. I know they do. Another target was Middletown and Story Room. “How are we going to promote the idea of Story Room, sire?” For that’s what Karoz called Carr. I know I’m breaking my promise to Karoz by writing out some of their dialog, as I remember. I’ll clear it with President Blogger later and see if he wants me to rework the blog post. So if you’re reading this still, then he’s cleared it. Writing the post at slightly different times, see. What else did they speak about? They talked about the direction the school should head in, and possible football rivalries in the area. Xilted Medical Institute was mentioned. What else? Oh, they talked about Karoz’s wife. Karoz has a wife (!) Didn’t know. Her name is [delete name]. Let me try that again. Her name is [delete name again]. I’ll have to try that later, it seems. Karoz is so happy being president of Sam Parr State College. He is fulfilling his destiny at last, he feels. “I wish Mother Sapphire was around to see all this,” he sighs. “But she has disappeared into the Lapis and the Lazuli, split from our world forever.” I knew this meant Sapphire was pre-Linden, and existed in the Lemon Lab world of before-time. I had to run over to the bathroom on the bottom floor of the Admin Building at this time, so I missed the rest of the convo. I remember Carr. winking at me from over top of Karoz’s shoulder before I left, a parting gesture. Karoz is using Google Earth to closely examine the contours of Jasper County Illinois’ Sam Parr State Park, saying it holds the keys to The End. I think he means the end of the Sam Parr collages, but I’m not sure. He’s interested in the fact that one of the streams dammed to create the Sam Parr reservior originates in Falmouth several miles to the north and west. Let me check (checks). It seems to be one called Brush Creek. The center of Sam Parr State Park actually lies closer to Falmouth than Newton — didn’t know that before.
Later I asked Karoz if he would like for me to attempt an interpretation of the latest Sam Parr collage efforts. He reinforced, like Carr., that Hucka D. is a better person to banter with about that subject.

Let’s talk about 8. The Master… but not Carrcassonnee, as you’ve chosen. I’m unsure yet. Karoz is as yet unsure I mean. I know Carrcassonnee is just a bowl of jello at the bottom of it. Good thing you didn’t fly up her! Sliiime.

Red Fox is coming to school here, Hucka D.
Hucka D.:
That’s correct. His parents Blackey and Whitesburg have already paid the tuition. Carrcassonnee herself gave a glowing reference, saying he took great care of little Carr, er, Spider, when she had to run to the supermarkets for her groceries and soda pop. Lemon-lime was her choice of beverage taste. She’s an either-or.

Is Red the same as Fred we’ve talked about a little in this blog and over at the Sunklands site?
Hucka D.:
That is correct. And he needs his Ethel but he hasn’t found her yet. In this branch of virtual reality. In others they’re happily married with babies all around. Some realities have 5, some 2, some none. There’s one with 11 but they’re all shaped like chickens. But Fred and Ethel still love them still.

Well, I can’t wait for him to show up.
Hucka D.:
Yes. Sam Parr himself, or herself, personally sent him here. He’s a straight C student which is better than anyone else who has enrolled.
bb:
Who else has enrolled? I guess we should end this surrealism soon.
Hucka D.:
Dumbgo the Insignificant. He’s probably the worst of the bunch. Patty Pepper Mint herself has enrolled for a jewelry class.
bb:
I believe that one got cancelled.
Hucka D.:
Oh right. A shame. Story Room themselves will teach the class called “Composing with the colors red, yellow, blue”. That should be exciting.
bb:
Kind of a Piet Mondrian effect, then.
Hucka D.:

Umm…
Hucka D.:
Who else? The B. R. Cyrus twins Idaho Oker and Ohiowa Oming. Oh, and Fredrika Mercurious, the famous dump truck driver. And Pletiosaurus Rex. I believe that might be it.
