He showed me the change. “The Jeogeot continent, before and after the addition of the 30 sims of the Korean Channel, logically reduced to 28 if you eliminate that little sticky outie place at the bottom composed of (sims) Darcy’s Harbour and Darcy’s Cove — although they have their own story to tell. More on that later perhaps.”

“Okay,” I said simply, readying for more.

“28 sims but beginning with 22 of possible 26 letters of the alphabet, far beyond chance I would confidently assume without checking the specific odds. Only 4 missing. I’m not sure it really matters which ones they are as much but just for the record it’s C, T, V, Y. So also for the record it *includes* the more exotic letters like Z, Q, X, J and K.”

“Right. I agree with you this is beyond chance. And… the connection with TILE?

“E is the last letter of the word TILE,” he said obviously enough. “I to E. I contains the little e that can be turned into the Big E — or Big Schwa if you’re looking from the other direction. That’s the key. It all becomes 3 dimensional now. We have a front and back of the thing. This is the great benefit of Big E/Big Schwa.”

“Got it. Sort of.”

“So when Spacecraft Andie stands before the 28 blue cubes representing the 28 blue sims of the Korean Channel and they wink out 1 by 1 by 1, that means the elimination of this channel, leaving a void again. We’re moving back into the past, before Jeogeot as we know it, perhaps before Our Second Lyfe as a whole but especially Jeogeot, the 3rd created continent. The number 3 is important here.”

“A search for *all* FENST geographic features in the GNIS national database of such only brings up 7 hits, including a Finstad Lake (lake) in MN with variant names of FENSTad Lake and FENSTed Lake, which is why it showed up on my list since I allow those. Notice this is found on a Picket Lake topographic map there, which piqued my interest because another name in this list starts with Fence: Fencemaker Canyon (valley) NV, also on a Fencemaker topo map and with a variant name of FENSTonmaker Canyon. Again, why it showed up in the list. Picket fence, then, see.”

“Picket fence, okay. Go on…”

“All this stemming from (the) FENSTar (sim) of the Big E/Big Schwa sitting before us.”

“I think I gathered that (already).”

“Cool. Soo, this led me to thinking about the old house I bought recently surrounded by this type of fence. Why I bought it actually.”

“*Before* the finding of Fence and Picket in that list,” I tried to clarify across from him, staring at the Schwa side as opposed to his E side. We were just that complementary.

“Correct. So that… leads to this.”

Karl enters the old house to discover nothing inside except cobwebs and musky smells. But then circling around it he finds this. Cellar door. TBC

She approached the door from the right.

The 28 blue squares representing Jeogeot’s Korean Channel winked out 1 by 1 by 1 on the floor before her, leaving only red, yellow, green.

“Andie?” I call over the resulting black void. “Is that really you??” The hair and skin colors were a bit off from before but I knew this to be true.

Probably the last structure has been added to my Nawt Vaya Free State property for this here photo-novel, 50 in a series of 50 and still going. Another old one: an abbreviated version of the Kidd Tower that was conceived over 10 years ago and where we’ve just seen Mr. Babyface sitting on the topmost floor of in the post before this one. Frank’s Moving Castle, still also in NVFS as of this writing, appears to be testing its flavor. 🙂

As stated, Mr. Babyface is no longer with us, having perished in the Korean Channel sim synchily called Orgamast thanks to that unexpectedly appearing water funnel or whirlpool or something. In his place we have Okama Majo now living in the building, also taking up Babyface’s study of the Big E/Big Schwa. Through his video feed, he stares at Orgamast here like his baby faced predecessor did before. He understands the meaning perhaps even better. All Blue. TBC?

Back home, Andie and I have an argument about whether the color of Little Alamo is blue or green. Andie says green. “But your midsection,” I then notice from my position in front of her, the same one where it all started. “Is *that* blue?” I tested.

Andie looks down. “Same.”

“Same as in my opinion or same–”

“Same,” she cut me off here.

“Perfection,” Mr. Babyface says about the Big E/Big Schwa on the table in front of him while huffing and puffing on his favorite tobacco brand Blue Pennant. Could have been talking about either blue, then. And this not long before his demise in that mysteriously appearing water funnel off the coast of Orgamast. Which he stares at here, realizing where he’ll die and then just as quickly forgetting about it, warning ignored.

“You — we (she said after a pause) — have a Venus problem,” she summarizes, still standing before me with back turned to that interestingly colored, palm rimmed pool of non-Linden water. Placed there for a reason, I understood. Attractor.

00490509 (Violet)

She got tired of waiting for her alternate self to grow up — understandably, because it could take *decades*. She decides to do some investigating on her own about the subject. Shamon. From the inn. Place of thorns. Not much of an inn aspect left to the place — no beds as far as she could tell. More a museum for the lower floors, she supposed. And then she found the letter in the middle of an antique book just chosen at random from a first floor bookcase. Hmm, she thought, separating the 2 pieces of paper from each other and laying them side by side. What’s this? She started reading. Plain it was at first to her. Mundane, run of the mill, no special qualities at all. A journal entry by someone named June about a trip across the western part of our US of A. Then she read it again. And again. And again, starting to put the 2 sides together to make 1; actually, let’s make that she simply eliminated the second to make one. Here’s what she had left…

Dear Dairy,

We’re finally in Missouri! Almost home! Bryan was so exhausted with today’s drive that we decided to have a sleepover at a cheap motel off Route 66. Madry Wise it’s called and the owners Martha and Theodore are just adorable! They welcomed us with open arms and invited us for dinner so we can share our Route 66 road trip experience with them. Bryan is just having a little nap and we’ll go once he wakes up.

I can’t believe how lucky I am. It’s been the best summer ever!!! Two weeks ago we started the journey from Santa Monica, CA and went through several states through Barstow, Kingman, Sedona, Winslow, Monument Valley, Durango, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Roswell, Amarillo, Oklahoma City until now Missouri.

So that’s all of page 1. She checked all the mentioned locations from its last sentence on a map. Santa Monica, Barstow, Kingman, Sedona, Winslow: yes, everything to this point was on Route 66 or, in Sedona’s case, quite close, only about 25 miles away. But June and her boyfriend Bryan start to veer away from that famous highway after Winslow AZ and only clearly pick it up again at Amarillo TX. In other words, June may not have even used 66 through the whole of New Mexico, going from Durango CO down to Santa Fe then Albuquerque then Roswell to its south before heading back up to Texas. *Crossing* 66 in Albuquerque but not necessarily travelling along it. While pondering this, Shelley Johnston Struthers realized, if so, that another motel might have been visited on the journey between Albuquerque and Roswell. Was this what was being implied all along?? Fictional Madry Wise Motel actually standing in for the most haunted hotel in America?

They should have never left some of the swastikas on the building because photos can be flipped and time reversed along with it. 1923: not that far away, then, not far atall.

00490508 (decision for 00490402)

Let’s see. I’ve used blue, light blue and blue-violet for Jeogeot locations so far — Nawt Vaya, Rodentia, and then NWES Cy. out on the western coast. Violet is next for its Korean Channel? How about blue-gray?

Perhaps our talking of them will arouse the poet who will tell the hidden wonder story of the influence for which the hands were but fluttering pennants of promise.

In his youth Wing Biddlebaum had been a school teacher in a town in Pennsylvania.

No, not *that* Pennsylvania town (too small) Nor (A Streetcar Named) Desire next to it (also too small).

Let’s focus on the descriptive word “pennants” from the first of the 2 sentences quoted above, another penn word. From the blog this time; blog within blog (within blog):

So they pried themselves away from watching the blog on TV and went upstairs to stare at it from different sides, different angles, to ponder what Mr. Babyface had surmised earlier. “Shamon on top of course,” he reminded Peter. “Closest hit in the Oracle is Shamokin PA, but with a pinch of collage magic we can create one of those 2n1’s… that you hate so much.”

“Stop it, Uncle. We’re not enemies.”

“I know, sorry. But look… I’ll project it on the screen downstairs when we return.”

“What else while we’re here?”

He pivoted the Big E around until the proper side was facing his nephew, turning it into a Big Schwa. He was seeing from his Uncle’s perspective now.

“Orgas, Peter,” recited Mr. Babyface on another closest Oracle hit, this time for the sim of Orgamast, label right in front of Peter’s eyes. He reloads his pipe, Blue Pennant now. “Orgasm, obviously (puff puff). And there’s also an Organ Cave population place in the same state of West Virginie. The Lordshore-Orgamast Floor is the lowest level of the Kidd Tower here (next to the Lebettu Castle). Lordshore also begins with LO.”

“What are you getting at, Uncle?”

“Let’s go back to the couch.”

—–

Shamokin > Shamon

“Shamon… from the inn… place of thorns. This is where it happened.”

“What happened?” Then Peter realized what his Uncle was talking about. “Ooooh.”

Mr. Babyface thought of a joke here but wisely decided not to mouth it.

So I think we might have our Pennsylvania town to “beam down” into via Google Street View for further investigation. But first: Arkansaw.

00470312 (huffing and puffing)

“Edward, dearest, I have a request. Let’s go tubing on the erupting volcano over there today. Let’s have some *real* fun for a change. I mean, aherm, more real fun,” she said, thinking of last night. For him: fantastic. For her: okay. Adequate. Thus her need for more this morning. He’s good with eruptions for now.

“But — it’s *lava.*,” he said, not needing to look out the window at it unlike her.

“Check the Oracle,” she replied simply. “Ichelus. Here, I’ll give you an image.”

Edward hated when she did this but couldn’t help seeing the proferred picture in his mind’s eye and understand its meaning. Indeed tubers in the 1:1 Oracle equivalent of firey Ichelus over there, which would be the clear, totally non-firey waters of SIXMILE long Ichetucknee River in Florida, simply made for such activity. He knew they would be safe, orange heat transmuted to cool blue. The Oracle speaks.

This also makes me think of another volcano whose lava can turned to water…

Also in an episode of Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two (“The Seven Wonders of Goiky”), pieces of the broken gate of Dream Island itself are used to patch the cracking volcano.

All this seems related.

“Ready for another go, dear!” she said after they’d finished. She couldn’t get enough. Until it was too late.

“Wheeeeeeeeeee!!”

**CRASH**.

Mr. Babyface thinks of Jem and her collision with that unseen boulder when he stares up at Ichelus on his Big E/Big Schwa later on. It was big news all over Jeogeot. Death of a pop star.

Ironically he would also soon be killed by another Korean Channel natural phenomenon, a water funnel in his case which sucked up his too small boat for the journey. And very close to Ichelus at that, just in the catty-corner sim of Orgamast. More fire-water polarities, hmm.

This is where I die, he thinks fleetingly and then forgets all about it.

It was right here where his ship landed years ago, perhaps 5 now, which would be about 42 or 43 years for him I suppose, given the 1 : 8 1/2 year conversion between Earth time and Our Second Lyfe time. Volcanic Zebrasil-Ichelus was and is the island, a well known landmark (infohub) to old timey Our Second Lyfe residents like me and perhaps like you. His robot parents were destroyed by hostile native glytches shortly after arrival but he survived by hiding in the bushes situated just here there and there, his littler body not detected by the marauding mutants, diminutive themselves but bad of eyesight. Then, not too long afterwards, vacationing adventurist Sugar Demossville, a brightly hued, small dinosaur who ran the eponymous Sugar Shack over in nearby Big Woods at the time, scooped up his little robot body found on an inner tube in the offshore water (glytches don’t like water, he’d found out in the meantime; too late to save his parents, though) and took him back home to the mainland with her. Since Sugar was red and green herself, just like Billy’s safe haven inner tube, she deemed it fate that he join her in the woods and live out the rest of his natural mechanical life there with her. But it was Sugar herself who died first from a stimulus induced heart attack brought on by one too many pieces of pecan and cherry pies at once several years later (2? 17?), freshly plucked from 2 of Big Woods’ many pie trees and too delicious to resist gluttonously gobbling down that fateful morning in late April’s May despite the warnings from her 2 doctors not to double up on the sugars like she did with her physicians. She was survived by mate Donald the Thong, a man-sized, almost naked duck to complement Sugar’s woman-sized, totally naked dinosaur — very tall but still within range, let’s say. He couldn’t deal with, let’s say again, Billy’s hypersomnia where his constant sleeping blended day and night until he couldn’t tell one from the other. “What time is it?” he’d ask now mate-less Donald. Then 5 minutes later, “What time is it?” “Five minutes after you asked the last time, little Billy,” Donald originally said to things like this but patience gradually wore away like his clothes did before (thanks Venus!), soon leading to harsh replies like, “You’re *clockwork*, Billy. You can’t tell time??” Time for Billy to be sent away himself, not to the Land of Death like Sugar thankfully but still regrettably to a robot orphanage over in Lesters Best, with many similar stories of eroded owner patience in the air, mostly for other kinds of conditions but with one in particular sounding very much like his own: that of Sally’s, who turned out to be the love of his life and the light in his eyes, particularly after the brain meld. What fortune, what fate! (once more!). He would never be left in the dark again.

Billy revisiting his “homeland”.

Billy staring over at his red and green inner tube, his safe haven until Sugar rescued him from this hellish landscape which took the lives of his parents (additional note: the glytches have meanwhile been rounded up and taken care of).
