Baker Blinker Blog Book IV: Jeogeot II 02c (Nov/Dec 2009 03 of 03)

Fresh Start…

A terrain map of what I’m now calling Yd Island in this blog, which actually forms, according to Linden terminology, the southeast corner of the Nautilus continent. More of an archipelago than a continent, but, like I said, it’s officially a continent. And you can see a bit of Nautilus City island just below Yd. Island… not sure if *that’s* officially part of the Nautilus continent as well.

Rented a square 1024 parcel from LaMa Estates, an established rental company I have had successful dealings with before. Promptly inserted the 30x30x30 Edwardston Station Gallery at about the 150 meter level — just below the main cloud bank.

And not many prims left for ground work: only a couple of trees, a small pool of water with a school of 4 yellow fish merrily circling within, some grass, and a teleporter to the gallery.

Nautilus SE, 01

Having successfully installed the 30x30x30 1024 fitted version of the Edwardston Station Gallery in Villeneuve, Baker Bloch takes out his trusty old AA bike and starts to ride around the inclusive island. Specifically, he wanted to head through the forest immediately to the south, and rather quickly runs across some seeming peculiarities centered around a tiny isle in the northeast part of the Ratzenberger sim, a sim that’s already come up once in this blog. Namely, it represents some kind of direct link between Big Sink and Yd Island, as I’m calling it now.

Oh… should explain the new name. Well, Hucka D. suggested calling the new island Greenup yellow down, which I told him seemed a bit long. Slightly earlier in the blog, I (bb) talked to an entity known as Greenup Yd., which seems to represent a protective spirit of Big Sink as a whole, and, at the same time, some resolving amalgamation of former rivals Marty and Plant in this sink in the past/present/future. Well, I took all this into account, and decided that Yd might be a good compromise name, which stands for the “yellow down” part of Hucka D.’s name. I’ll get more into that name in a bit — still not sure, for example, of exactly how you would pronounce it: like “wide”? or perhaps “yide”? Anyway, I also like the relation with Oz — like “oz”, “yd” is an abbreviation for a certain measurement in the United States customary system, or ounce and yard respectively. Moreover, as I’ve just found out, the two are linked together through fabric weight.

And I also find it interesting that there’s a sim not far to the northeast of Villeneuve called “The Measure”. May mean nothing, though.

Yd may turn out to be short for Guyd (making Greenup “gu”, in turn). Like “guide”, then? But anyway I still like Yd for now. Think it will be pronounced like “wide” (phonetically, then: “wide island”). But in truth the island is just as high, top to bottom, as it is wide… seem about the same distance to me.

As Hucka D. and I have also briefly chatted about, Yd Island is also about the same size as Nautilus City Island immediately to its south. I anticipate some voyages to that formerly traveled region as well; I’m looking quite forward to it, as well as exploring the surrounding sea again.

Speaking of which… well, I better get to the photograph descriptions and save discussion of the *Vileness* Fish for later (just dropping that name to wet the reader’s appetite a bit).

So we have Baker Bloch parked near the said isle or islet in the north of Ratzenberger.

Here comes some of the peculiar things: for one, the water Baker is staring at below is stationary, yet is on a rather steep slope so should be flowing rather rapidly toward the isle situated just below the edge of this snapshot. And it’s stationary in a rather abnormal way as well, in that the water appears to have almost crystallized, ice-like, in a *circular pattern* in the center, sort of making that part look like the top of a faceted diamond.

The circle really struck Baker when he first came across it. He immediately thought: portal. Of course he’s prone to seeing the weird in the ordinary, as readers of this blog well know. But one must admit it’s a rather peculiar sight, especially in contrast to the other short, similarly sloped stream flowing in a normal manner toward the isle. I think it well worthy of some blog discussion time; it’s all fun and games after all.

I should also mention that the water in this arm of the system is quite noticeably bluer than the water in the other arm, and in the pool surrounding the isle itself.

Looking over the top of this crystallized-like circle toward the isle.

Now Karoz is, right this minute, investigating the area and checking behind Baker Bloch’s finds, as I have him do quite often any more. In hovering above the island and the water arms, he makes the observation that the whole looks suspiciously, to him, like a *rabbit* head with two ears sticking up and folded over at the tips. You can sort of see this association, I believe, in the below photograph, but Karoz has a better angle on this currently.

In looking over Karoz’s shoulder now I must admit it looks a bit like the head of a rabbit, perhaps like this one already depicted in this post from last month. Especially noticable is the similar, watery texture of each. Hmmm… Tell you what, I’ll just insert a better set of comparison pictures at the end of this post.*

Well, that’s turning out to be another potentially large-ish body of information to put forth, since, as fans of Donnie Darko may remember, tubes of water emitting from people’s heart region (hey, the central pool above is also heart shaped!) figure large in the overall story… they could be called, for one thing, *portals*. Phew!

Then Baker Bloch rides further into the Ratzenberger sim, attracted by a pointy protuberance at the crest of the hill ahead. The formerly green landscape has yielded to total and complete beigeness as the elevation increases. The whole sim is about 90% beige and only about 10% green, as I’m eyeballing the map now.

Looking back from whence he came.

*****

* here is the better comparison set mentioned:

Nautilus SE, 02

Now over the crest of the the central, low mountain range of Yd Island from whence he came, Baker dives into a thickly forested band of beige…

… to emerge in this beautiful garden that turned out to be part of an art gallery called “A Picture Garden”, one of only two other galleries on the island besides, now, my own Edwardston Station Gallery and also Tickles and Bites in Meddledown. I’ll have more to say about both of those soon. I should mention Baker is now in Fushida south of Ratzenberg, about to enter Glocker to the east.

And here he is in Glockler after passing through the above garden/gallery, having found yet another beauty spot on the island, it appears. It’s called the Land of What-If; I’m sure I’ll be visiting this again soon as well. Apppears to occupy 1/4th of the sim.

Now I’m not a fan of huge skyscreens, but I must admit this is more tastefully done than most I’ve seen. In the corner, Baker finds an opening just large enough for him to clear his head and continue on.

But soon he decided to head on back to Villeneuve/Ratzenberger to further investigate the natural surroundings there, including this simple waterfall not far from, um, Bunny Head, as we’ll call it right now for lack of a better name.

The back to Bunny Head to take a last look-see before I log Baker Bloch off for the night.

Good Morning, Hucka Doobie…

“Ready for a talk, however briefly?”

Hucka D.:

I’m Spongebob ready. (smiles)

bb:

Well… what about the new island? Looks like about the same size as Nautilus City island just to the south. And so, also, about the same size as Azure Island #1 and also Otherland Island #1. About the right size for a several month escape, while still remaining on the more stable mainland.

Hucka D.:

Yes. It is a replacement for Azure Island #1, now no longer in existence.

bb:

What’s fascinated me right off the bat is the top of Ratzenberger.

Hucka D.:

Bleedthrough. Connection between Big Sink [and this island].

bb:

What should we call this island — don’t say Fred. (laughs)

Hucka D.:

Marge. Seriously, since it is built around Ratzenberger you call it, um, Greenup, yellow down Island.

bb:

That’s a bit long. But you’re saying that the top of Ratzenberger, where it conjoins with Villeneuve…

Hucka D.:

That’s where Greenup and yellow down conjoin. ‘Cept yellow is higher than green in this case. But it’s south, you see. Wurme… Eob.

bb:

That island and surrounding stream or streams — guess they’re two — seems central. At the top of Ratzenberger again.

Hucka D.:

That’s where the feet get off the ground. And now you have a floating gallery in Villeneuve.

*****

bb:

Well, um, you know I think these sims are named for race car drivers, and maybe ones who have died in crashes. Get to more of that soon…

Hucka D.:

Toys come from here. (guessing bb’s thoughts): Maybe Mmmmmm’s but maybe something else. Peanuts?

bb:

Dunno.

Hucka D.:

You look for kinks in space and time, but not Ray and Dave. (pause) Ok, maybe them too.

bb:

We still haven’t really named the island. (pause) Big Log? Biglog…

Hucka D.:

Yes. But that’s a city on the island. Former city.

bb:

Big Log is where the red or abberant Mmmmmm’s come from, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Baffle Bush and all. Two sides of one meadow; two sides of an island as well. First Tree… you’re in it.

bb:

I gotta feeling we’re getting a little crazy and all again…

Hucka D.:

This is where it happened. The landing. Goodmobile. Drink Lake is like the surrounding ocean or sea, though, [in this case].

bb (repeating earlier phrase):

Greenup, yellow down.

Hucka D.:

We must start a club.

bb:

Thank you.

Rabbit Head

Karoz on top of the newly postioned Edwardston Station Gallery looking toward Rabbit Head, a little over 200 meters away to the south.

Yd Island, 01

An added bonus to the Yd Island property I now rent is the close proximity to the ocean. This beach front is in Von Trips, not 200 meters from the gallery grounds. And there’s an even closer access point directly north of the gallery in this same sim.

Von Trips (yet another local sim named for a sports car driver who died in a crash while racing) is caddycorner to the first reachable, Linden protected water sim, called The Measure. Hucka D. has already mentioned it as having some sort of connection with the Vileness fish — more on that later, I suppose. To Baker at the time, the glyphs on the sea bottom of The Measure were eerily Okinu-like in quality, something he can’t remember experiencing over a sim-wide area outside of Okinu itself. Maybe just a faulty memory again, though.

Then after some sea exploring closer to Nautilus City, Baker decides to go back to Villeneuve and poke around the forest immediately to the south of the gallery some more. Unfortunately, he finds this large bong just on the other side of the tree line separating his own land from the neighbor’s, and decides to “touch” it to see what happens.

Next thing he knows he’s floating about 3 feet above the ground.

The gallery looks sooooooo far up in the sky now. Difficult to believe it’s real, the huge, pure cube shape being so dissimilar from anything his user has experienced in normal reality, he realizes. He likes it! And strange to think he has a user at all. Who’s the user of his user? he ponders.

The forest seemed to go on and on, even though it is only about a half sim in depth. A square pool with incense burning on a wooden platform to one side is found somewhere near its midst.

Baker staring at the prominent protrusion in Ratzenberger to the south, with Rabbit Head immediately in front of him, sandwiched between foreground green and background beige. Where has Baker Block seen all this before??

Yd Island, 02

Yes, Baker has *definitely* seen this before. This is the Billfork Core Diagram virtually realized! he thinks upon finding it in the Villeneuve forest next to his new home. He tries to count the small pumpkins in the ring, and looses track. He tries again: 25. He re-checks: 25 again. Shame it’s not 24, because that’s the actual number of circles around the Billfork Core Diagram perimeter. But he knows they are the same anyway. And the clincher for him: 8 larger stones form a rough octagon just below the circle of pumpkins, and tracing the same imaginary circle. The Billfork Core Diagram (BCD) also has a framework of 8 equally placed *orange* circles.

And the ultimate clincher (again for him at that particular moment, still in a quite heightened state of mind), is this *9th* rock directly in front of one the 8 forming the octagon, just like there’s a special *9th* orange circle in the BCD. Can’t be chance! He decides he must think further and further about the 9th, and the phrase “turn me on dead man.” But we must remember his condition while he’s thinking this.

Baker still in the forest, hiking the line between green (right) and beige (left). He feels similarly split himself. Poor forest!

Then at the northern edge of the forest, he emerges into an opening and looks back down on his rented property and the small pond there. Suddenly he has come down from his high (!) Just like that. Just when emerging from the perhaps enchanted forest.

Continuing to explore further east now, he comes across a cave full of what are called Jungian archetype symbols.

And there’s Jung himself, guarding the front door along with rather fearsome looking, if small, red dragon.

Some “archetypes”, though, seemed to more resemble something manifesting during a bad acid trip. Glad the effects of the bong hit are gone! a still slightly spooked Baker thinks when encountering this skull.

Yd Island, 03

TEXT SOON.

Wider than the sea…

“I miss Plant, Hucka D.”

Hucka D.:

You wanna speak to him?

bb:

Is that the Sunklands guy again? Greenup Yd.?

Hucka D.:

Yeah. Here he or she or it is.

Greenup Yd.:

Hello baker Beach.

bb:

Hmmm… you use my real name, like Plant use to do.

Greenup Yd.:

Still does. How do you like me so far?

bb:

You mean the island?

Greenup Yd.:

Yes. Me.

bb:

Well, it’s really quite fascinating in places. Maybe — dare I say — the most interesting place yet I’ve lived at in Second Lyfe. I supposed I’ve also “y-ed” SL now, Greenup Yd..

Greenup Yd.:

I am/ am not Vileness Flats.

bb:

The giant fish… yes, I was going to ask about that tonight.

Greenup Yd.:

I am not the fish. Yet I am. Inside-out. Feet on the ground and up in the air.

bb:

Greenup and yellow down, then.

Greenup Yd.:

I am a measure. The Measure.

bb:

Hucka D. mentioned that the Vileness fish is color blind, but in the impossible green-yellow spectrum. That is, as Hucka D. put it, if Vileness fish could drive a car, he would be constantly running through yellow lights with no hesitation, thinking they were green. Maybe you have the same vision problem, then?

Greenup Yd.:

Nes. Yo.

bb:

Dyslexic. Don’t worry, I am too a bit. Very often, I’ll write in this blog that something is east of something else and I’ll recheck and see it is west.

Greenup Yd.:

The fish is a bird [then].

bb:

When I told Hucka D. that green-yellow is not a true color blindness condition (most commonly red-green but sometimes blue-yellow), he countered, unperturbed, by saying there’s also a blue-red color blindness…

Greenup Yd.:

Fish. Fish. (pause) Fish.

bb:

Physh?

Hucka D.:

We better tuck him back in for the night. The Island, ladies and gents. You’re going to see he likes to measure things in yards, perhaps fabric.

bb:

Nice. I assume you want me to go back to The Measure soon.

Hucka D.:

Go every night if you wish. You’ll see how Yd Island is more interesting than the more planned Nautilus City Island, at least now and in the present.

bb:

Oh… what about Rabbit Head??

Hucka D.:

That’s a direct carryover or imprint from Big Sink and Sunklands. To remember them by. It’s a Bozho.

bb:

Bunny Boy mentions Nanabozho, Hucka D.*

Hucka D.:

Bunny Boy is one smarter f*cker.

bb (playfully reprimanding):

Hucka D.! I’ve never heard you use foul language.

Hucka D.:

Fowl.

bb:

And I think you’re going to say…

Hucka D. (interrupting):

The Numbers, right. You can see them in [this picture], on one of the ears.** 28064212.

bb:

About the same time as a lunar cycle[, then].

Hucka D.:

It is the same. It is The Moon. Sun and Moon as one and all and all in one.

bb:

Obviously, Hucka D., I had to get rid of The Sun in my move to Yd Island. Still have The Moon, though.

Hucka D.:

The Sun must return sometime.***

bb:

Can we talk more of the Vileness fish tonight?

Hucka D. (measured):

Green. Red. Blue. (pause) Yellow. Green. (pause) Red. Blue.

bb:

TILE, then?

Hucka D.:

Better end. Save me a waffle iron.

bb:

Oh… ok. Goodnight.

Hucka D.:

Goodnight.

Hole, Part 28064212

Best set of Second Life maps I’ve found on the web, Hucka D. There’s Yd Island smack in the middle of this particular snapshot. *Now*, check this out… there’s a hole in the eastern part of the Nautilus continent that we’ve known about for a while.”

Hucka D.:

I’ve known about it since before The Beginning.

bb:

Alright, good. And this hole is directly above Yd Island. You can see the relationship better here. Actually I’m just going to upload a low resolution shot of that continent into this post… if I have to delete it later I will.

Hucka D.:

Just give credit to the creator in a footnote*

bb:

So you can quite clearly see the hole above Yd. Island now. It would be the equivalent of 10 sims. A little bigger than Big Sink, then.

Hucka D.:

This is where Vileness lives now.

bb:

I knew that was going to come up. This inland sea, then, with the 10 sim hole in the center, is the realm of Vileness, the ancient extent anyway.

Hucka D.:

Something is going to happen in that hole. Pay attention.

bb:

Reminds me, of course, of Nautilus City island rising overnight from the sea last October. We were there almost that same hour!

Hucka D.:

Quite close. I warned you about that as well, if you remember.

bb:

I do!

Hucka D.:

Now you know there is a relationship between Nautilus City Island and the similarly sized Yd Island directly to its north. It’s fortunately, really, for VILE that Nautilus Island formed, for that takes attention further away from his Inland Sea and the hole. The Hole.

bb:

You called him Vile…

Hucka D. (correcting):

VILE.

bb:

Ok, no need to shout. So Vile…

Hucka D.:

VILE. Use your lungs. Just do it.

bb:

Alright. VILE lives or lived in that Inland Sea.

Hucka D.:

The Sea of VILE. Like the Sea of Green except combined with the Sea of Holes. Or Hole.

bb:

Did you know that a 5 year old Courtney Love was pictured on the back cover of Grateful Dead’s Aoxomoxoa album?

Hucka D.:

Study that album. Relate it to Aotearoa. And do some more drugs. Baker Bloch should do some more drugs, I mean. In a pretend way of course (smiles).

bb:

Right. We’ll send him back to the big bong sometime soon.

Hucka D.:

He’ll see the fish, then. Altered States. Collage. It use to come right up to the gallery parcel, in fact, all the way to Rabbit Head. It use to slink right through the Villeneuve Forest you live in now through your 1024 extension. Rabbit Head was a way to keep it from going even further inland. He had to stop at Ratzenberger. This is where [Sea of] Green separated from Yellow [Submarine]. Pepperland.

bb:

Greenup and yellow down, then.

Hucka D.:

Right through that forest it came. You can still see the slime in places if you look carefully.

bb:

I’ll remember that the next time Baker Bloch passes through. (pause) Now back to The Hole. It looks like to me that this is a unique void on the grid, because it is the only one surrounded by mainland. No, wait, there’s one more sim to fit into that group, caddycorner to Mos Ainsley, perhaps interestingly.

Hucka D.:

That’s how they left the grid.

bb:

The, er, Chilboleans, you mean?

Hucka D.:

Yes. They left through The Moon. But they were called Chilbolites. That was when Jeogeot was chilly itself [actually]. Before the clothes and all.

bb:

That’s really a fascinating story about a Chilbo before a Chilbo, Hucka D. But let’s return to The Hole, the bigger one. Wait… know what you’re going to say again… “one and the same.”

Hucka D.:

That’s The Escape. Pay attention now. The people of Jeogeot came to Yd Island. It’s like Oz, only yellower. The Measure is where they left the story of their escape, before the destruction of ancient Chilbol [with the “l” on the end]. (pause) I would suggest you attempt to figure out what’s inside The Hole. Past-present-future.

bb:

I’m assuming it’s not Courtney Love.

Hucka D.:

Love. VILE.

bb:

Whatever happened to Courtney Flats?

Hucka D.:

In a way, you can say the hole was made with a screwdriver. F*ck you.

bb:

Language again! What’s gotten into you??

Hucka D.:

You know. Hole. The Hole. Female. Womb. Emergence. VILE. Vileness. Courtney Flats. Courtney Fats.

Villeneuve Forest & Beyond…

Baker Bloch standing on the island in the middle of Ratzenberger’s Rabbit Head, staring toward the 8 sided small tower just north in the neighboring sim of Villeneuve.

Do these 2 stubby red oak trees have anything to do with the involved mythology? he muses at the time. More later on that?

Top of the tower or small castle. Interestingly there’s a hepagram based design in the center of the 8 sided tower top. As Karoz is checking behind Baker now, he finds that its a Sigil of John Dee, designed to “communicate with angels.”

Baker explores a bit more of the forest tonight than he’s accomplished before, but decides to save a fuller probing until another night…

… as it’s on to the east side of Yd Island tonight, across the high, single spinal-type ridge essentially separating the 2 sides of the island from each other. Kind of, anyway. Here Baker is in Brabham just southwest of Ratzenberger, standing in front of another perhaps peculiar body of water that Karoz presently finds strangely reminiscent of Rabbit Head. Nice waterfalls; fairly realistic. And that’s a beaver home to Baker’s immediate left. A perhaps suspiciously attentive heron looks toward the swimming beaver family just outside. Other water birds dot the landscape surrounding the pools. But as far as Karoz can tell today, there’s only one fish in either the lower or upper pools here (lower).

Note: although a second waterfall is present in the scene here — essentially a duplicate of the nearer of the 2 waterfalls to Baker that separate the 2 pools in question — it strangely doesn’t drain another pool further up but instead just “emits” from the ground. A spring?

To complete the explanation of this small water system, a stream drains from the upper of the 2 pools, only to dead end about 150 meters south near the Brabham/Westbury line (but not on the line, as one might think).

Uh oh. Another big rabbit sighted in Westbury, in what appears to be a small, ocean-side Japanese village mainly composed of clean, white buildings set within immaculately and precisely landscaped grounds. Karoz is checking behind Baker: the rabbit is gone today (!) A dog is near the gate now, not present in Baker’s snapshot below. Has the rabbit turned into a dog?

And the village itself seems to be deserted, as Karoz is finding in poking around more than Baker Bloch did that day.

Series 01

“Hucka D., we’re going to start a new series. Or series. 01.”

Hucka D.:

Seems like it.

bb:

I think we should talk about the hole more. What about you?

Hucka D. (jumping right in):

2 avatars in the middle. Both are connected through Love. Flip Love around and you have Veil. VILE.

bb:

Like the front and back of an album. Like Sgt. Pepper. Like Aoxomoxoa. Courtney.

Hucka D.:

Love on the back of each. Another interesting tidbit, eh?

bb:

Yeah, suppose so. That seems quite odd on the surface.

Hucka D.:

2 more things[, then]. Sachie Bade’s 234 blog has recently seen a spate of posts added, with this last one mentioning flying to [lands] beyond the quaint Japanese village of Tordangle. Now notice on [her provided map of the route] that The Hole is just beyond or behind Tordangle and the associated island.

bb:

Hucka D., I think in re-reading that post that she obviously meant the other side of the island, or the land beyond Tordangle on that island.

Hucka D.:

From the direction she was flying, she would have gone straight into The Hole if the line was continued. That’s the point. Ok…

bb:

Wait Hucka D…. never mind… continue…

Hucka D.:

So this seems to dovetail [like a joint?] with something else a friend wrote, your explorer friend Nish Mip, and on her Big Orange blog. Very complicated and interesting post here, baker b. Another collagist as well!* (pause) You must understand that, flipped around, there is LOVE in that hole. Hole. Seen from *this* direction, though, it is VEIL which can be VILE. Nish Mip understands this through the Sgt. Pepper album. She can also now see it through Courtney Love and the back of the Aoxomoxoa album, if she desires. LOVE on the back of both. 2-n-1. Courtney Flats.

bb:

Do The Residents fit in here? Again, I know the answer: when *don’t* they?

Hucka D.:

Exactly. This is Vileness Flats or Fats, take your choice, turned into Courtney Flats or Fats. Pregnant, perhaps. “I want my baby.”

bb:

We watched “Eggtown” tonight as well, Hucka D.. Aaron at end. She is a good egg. AA.***

Hucka D.:

AAron and ABigail at the beginning of The Babble.

bb:

And beyond the end, I think you want to say.

Hucka D.:

Back to The Hole, though.

bb:

Two Loves or LOVEs in one. Flipped around for disguise, now united. 2 in 1 — that’s the only way to see what’s INSIDE The Hole.

Hucka D.:

But it does not appear in this world. It is instead black. Black Behind. *Now*… what’s inside the hole?

bb:

Er, you already said “love” [is in the hole].

Hucka D.:

Did I?

bb:

Knowledge?

Hucka D.:

“0” and “1”. Void and singularity. God and No-God. LOVE and VILE.VEIL.

*****

* It has been pointed out earlier in this blog that Sachie is also a collagist. We all three have this aspect in common.

**Re the latter, see here. Referring to “Paul is Dead” clues from the back cover of Sgt. Pepper, the turnmeondeadman site has this to say about the former:
George positioned his hand in this way not to point to the printed lyrics, but to make the letter “L”, the first letter in the word “LOVE”, as the Beatles appear to be spelling out the word “LOVE” with their hands. In addition to George pointing his fingers in the shape of an “L”, John’s hands are arranged in a “V” shape, and Ringo’s clasped hands form an “E”. The “O” is missing as Paul’s hands are not visible.

*** Love is hidden here. (“The Illumination of AA“?)

Yd Island, Random…

Cottage with telephone lines mysteriously running through it in Cevert immediately west of Ratzenberger.

Just in roaming around, Baker Bloch finds himself all the way out at Brigantine Island several sims east of Yd Island. Three signs concerning the Blake Sea region put up by the Linden moles is all that’s on the small island besides some grass. Nice, anyway… private. But Baker decides he doesn’t want to push further into the Blake Sea right now. For some reason, it’s never been a big draw for him, despite the obvious aesthetic qualities. But for the curious, here’s more info about it. Maybe it’s because Baker isn’t much of a boat person… dunno.

Then back to Yd Island for this shot of a mansion in Wodka. Baker is standing in a parcel called Walker Land Public Spaces, but he didn’t have enough time remaining that night to find out more about this idea.

Glyphs in The Measure. More on those soon as well.

Around The Hole, 01

TEXT SOON.

Yd Island: Central Ridge

Baker Bloch at Rabbit Head, staring back toward the Edwardston Station Gallery using longer draw distance. Texture of cube is somewhat similiar to that of the 8 sided tower to the left of Blochs here — probably nothing.

Rabbit Head and ESG from a different angle. Good shot of the east side of the Villeneuve forest.

On the high Yd Island ridge itself now, in, let’s see, along the middle of the western line of Nelleman, just east of Crespo (in turn, just east of Ratzenberger).

Still in Nelleman but quite close to Sospiri, where ridge continues its high ways. Elevation here is about 150 meters. To contrast, Ratzenberger’s Rabbit Head is between about 65 (north) and 80 meters (south), and the ESG property in Villeneuve is at around 45 meters.

In Leelight now, at the end of the land representing the highest plateau part of the ridge. From here on to the north, it’s downhill to the surrounding sea. But the beige landscape will continue along the ridge for about another sim before yielding to green again.

We Must Press More Forward, Hucka D.

Greenup Yd.:

Hi baker Beach.

bb:

Hello. How are you?

Greenup Yd.:

I am.

bb:

That’s good.

Greenup Yd.:

Yes.

bb:

Do you wish to talk about the hole tonight?

Greenup Yd.:

I am in it. You are in it. All are in.

bb:

In love?

Greenup Yd.:

I am VILE.

bb:

But you flip that around and you have LOVE.

Greenup Yd.:

You will not be able to get in at this moment. Sealed.

bb:

I know. When will I be able to get in?

Greenup Yd.:

28 days.

bb:

About a month[, then]. Do you know about the loss of The Sun, which is the same as The Temple?

Hucka D.:

I am here. Yes, that Sun loss is causing problems already, baker b. I think you must reinstate the temple. The power of The Hole is strong in your region. Wind and such.

bb:

I could rent the second 1024 in the sim and build the temple there, or just put it on top of the ESG, like I had it in Ichalon [for one].

Hucka D.:

That might be good. (pause)

bb:

How long will I stay on Yd Island? I know that’s a dumb question.

Hucka D.:

28 days.

bb:

Then, er, I’ll go into the opened hole?

Hucka D.:

No. You will go home.

bb:

To Jeogeot?

Hucka D.:

Yes. This is not your true home. Baker Bloch’s I mean.

bb:

Should I stay in Sunklands?

Hucka D.:

I can’t tell you. Won’t you miss the Aotearoa sink?

bb:

Yes. But there’s isolation [to it].

Hucka D.:

The hole will open in 28 days. You have 28 days.

bb:

Yes. Greenup Yd. already told me. How did you run upon this entity again?

Hucka D.:

Greenup Yd. is the spirit of Yd. Island and also The Hole. And maybe Nautilus City Island as well. And the surrounding seas or oceans. Not Blake Sea, though. I don’t think. Not the entire Nautilus continent either. Mostly Yd Island, then, I suppose. He wrote a book about it.

bb:

Yd Island?

Hucka D.:

Drink Lake is the same as the sea surrounding Yd Island, as you’ve already speculated about.

bb:

Tell me the relationship — more about it, if you can…

Hucka D.:

VILE caused it.

bb:

VILE is the same as Greenup Yd., though.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

Someone at the end of last week requested a student file named Parsons, which we couldnt’ find despite looking in 3 different collections. I thought about Parsons Vale, which is on the other side of the Mmmmmm’s homeground, thinking they might be related.

Hucka D.:

You have a vague equivalent of Rabbit Head in that homeground.

bb:

I suppose if I rent that other 1024 in Villeneuve, I would live symbolically on the shores of Drink Lake, perhaps at Drink Lake Beach where Grassy was sunning that one day I took pictures of him.

Hucka D.:

No Drink Lake Dam in this [Second Lyfe] reality, though.

bb:

There was a point when I was hiking around today (I went to Drink Lake today), when I looked up in the meadow and thought, this is just like looking up from Rabbit Head in Ratzenberger to the above ridge. There was even a protuberance near the top, just like in this photo. Couldn’t really make out what it was — maybe a bale of hay. Not a cow, though, although they were in the meadow in other places.

Hucka D.:

You have 28 days. We better end.

bb;

Thank you both.

New Ubertemple Preview, 01

In one of those complete aboutfaces that readers of this blog have come quite familiar with, Baker Bloch decides, no, he’s not going to let the Aotearoa property go (there’s a longer story on that), and, in short, there’s now a New Ubertemple on the property as of just today. Now, long run, it’s probably going to be too big to manage, but short term, it may be perfect, kind of a holiday structure.

Below, Baker Bloch looks up toward the bottom of the New Ubertemple, which sits approx. 30 meters above the upper ground level of the Aotearoa property. Description: it is a 60x60x*90* rectangular prism shape, composed of 12 old b_hivia modules and the equivalent of 3 Temple of TILE modules. It’s sort of a direct continuation of the structure I’d already had as a skybox on this property before its deletion today, and described in this earlier post a bit. The difference: it’s not a cube any longer, as I said, but has gained an additional 30 meters in height. The formerly empty interior has now been filled with 3 30x30x30 cubes, with the center cube now — this is the key of the new construction — being the same as the 30x30x30 Edwardston Station Gallery, such as presently set up as well in Villeneuve.

First some more new landscaping details. On the northeast corner of the lot, mainly, I decided to plant some Linden sculptie cypresses that I hadn’t used previously. These may be deleted soon, because I only found out after planting even more than shown below that the smaller ones take up 3 prims apiece, and the bigger cypresses of this kind take up a whole 7 prims. But they are kind of pretty — different anyways.

What a monstrosity. This was probably the inevitable consequence of keeping the Aotearoa property, seemingly a fated move, at least for the month of December and possible beyond. The New Ubertemple was destined to be created here, in one of those “for better or worse” kind of deals.

The sidewalk from my very early days in Aotearoa has returned, along with the linked Victorian house and Econo slum apartment. Nothing inside either structure, yet. I should also mention, if you haven’t guessed, that the original Aotearoa Edwardston Station Gallery has been deleted. Perhaps it will return soon enough when I get tired of the New Ubertemple. We’ll see on that.

New Ubertemple Preview, 02

Baker Bloch uses the teleporter (pictured in the center of that last photograph in the below post) up to the interior of the New Ubertemple, specifically the proposed entrance to the new Edwardston Station Gallery.

A big difference now: The *center* of the 30x30x30 version of the Edwardston Station gallery is part of the center shaft of the entire 60x60x90 structure, and is 70 meters high in itself. This is the same, central “Tyle Cube shaft” that appeared in the original Ubertemple of Neith. See here for a comparison.

Christmas tree w/ train at the bottom of the shaft, also like in Neith.

Otherwise, the ESG has changed in more subtle ways from its enclosed 30x30x30 version.

“Mysterious” protrusions and openings have appeared on most of the formerly uninterrupted brick walls.

I’ll obviously have more to say about the New Ubertemple soon enough, but for now I suppose I better talk to Hucka D. a bit tonight. (note to regular readers: I’ll catch up with text generation for the blog posts in the next several days).

Here Comes The Sun…

“The Sun has returnred. Good work Baker Bloch… baker b.”

bb:

Sorry I went ahead and did all this without you. I know how you like to fiddle around with these giant beehive structures.

Hucka D.:

Those days are past.

bb:

Maybe we should play around with your image some, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

I’m happy the way I am. I don’t need to be out much any more. I would like to go back and visit Otherland and Hurla Dontbee sometime. Beehive Mtn… so on.

bb:

We’ll do that for ya! Obviously, I believe, the ESG is a little out of balance just by itself — the enclosed, as we’re calling it, 30x30x30 version. It is The Moon without The Sun.

Hucka D.:

Correct. Moon and Sun must operate in harmony to control the vileful energies of The Hole. You could not stay in Villeneuve with just the ESG and not the Temple of TILE. The temple is the same as Solomon’s. VEIL. VILE. TILE.

bb:

Yeah, I definitely want to talk about that more sometime.

Hucka D.:

TILE; COLORS is next. Prepare.

bb:

I am!

Hucka D.:

Stay on Yd Island for exactly 1 month. That is the window.

bb:

That it?

Hucka D.:

Yes. Thank *you*.

Ubertemple: Continued Updates (And Will Be Continuing…)

View of underneath of (New) Ubertemple in Aotearoa from top floor of Slum Econo Apt structure sitting near west line of my rental property there. Kind of a dark picture actually; you can barely make out the top of the Victorian house straight ahead.*

Switching to Villeneuve and a new, cool location Baker Bloch just found last night in biking around. Rabbit Head is just behind the 8 sided tower Baker is staring at. The “Billfork” arrangement of stones is just below. He will be coming back here — very scenic.

Shot in Ratzenberger again, I believe, looking up toward the top of the Yd Island ridge and two evenly spaced protuberances according to camera frame, with a lonely spot of grass in the center just in front of Baker here. That’s a big mall hovering above, the one that takes up the whole of Crespo to the immediate east of Ratzenberger, and in the basic center of the island as a whole.

Shifting back to Aotearoa, then, and more Ubertemple views. Below has Baker Bloch staring down at a new, small cemetery on the property, essentially encircled by the Natilus cypress trees mentioned before.

Cool views abound already within the temple itself, but some, like this, are hard to capture in a snapshot, in part because of the glaring colors (red-violet, for one, always shows up fuzzy in my snapshots). But in the center, where Blochs is staring at again, you’ll see a blue table with a light on it. That’s near the entrance to bottom floor of the Edwardston Station Gallery in the temple, but no easy way to get to it from where he’s standing. Thought it photo worthy.

Just re-created Ruins in the Woods exhibit featuring Edna’s newer photos, and described already in this November post. Next up, I suppose, could be the reinsertion of the OzLand photos also mentioned in that post series.

View down from center of this lowest floor in the Ubertemple to the Victorian house. I like the way the views often represent interesting, new angles now into the surrounding landscape… not straight on looks.

*****

* Actually very similar to the first picture in this October 9th post, taken right after I originally moved to the property.

Ubertemple, Yd Islands, And So On…

Continued updates to New Ubertemple today, which I could just name the Ubertemple (calling the original Ubertemple of Neith on Azure Islands, instead, the Old Ubertemple or Ur Ubertemple — Urbertemple?). Gotta feeling that I’ll be in Sunklands at least 2 more months now after this little glitch.

One of the most remarkable features of the (New) Ubertemple is the views toward not one but *3* separate sinks. To the immediate north you have the Aotearoa sink, still quite empty except for a couple of stray objects left behind by the previous owner (tennis shoe and such). To the south, a bit further away, you have the Otaki Gorge sink, and what I’m calling Pete’s Mound is clearly visible from the upper stories of the Ubertemple. Then to the northeast you have the east edge of Big Sink itself. Quite a lot to see in circling around the perimeter of the temple, then! I’ll provide some snapshots of each view asap.

The Gallery at the Temple of TILE has already been partially reinstalled, specifically the Ruins in the Woods exhibit with new photos by Edna Blinker. Edwardston Station Gallery is really developing as well, including the ability now to look up, in places through the entire structure or at least parts of the structure. More on that soon as well. It’s really kind of looking through the 10×10 *vertically*… At any rate, I now see that I had to move the ESG back to Aotearoa and in its original form (30x30x30 cube).

Haven’t decided, at all, what to put in the top cube of the 3 interior ones. Bottom will be the Gallery at the Temple of TILE, I presume, and middle is the ESG. Maybe offices? I still have over 200 prims to work with, and can delete additional objects on the ground if needed. I think the Ubertemple should now be the focus above all else.

What of Yd Island, then? Well, I’ve renewed the rent on the 1024 parcel, or extended it I should say. I had to get rid of the residential unit in Teadale, but kept the tiny gallery annex there (Something To CHRO About) for now — very cheap rent on that one. I’ll probably just stay on Yd Island until after X-mas, but maybe delete the gallery there and probably just set up the Victorian house. I want to keep exploring the nifty forest right next door, and, of course, keep visiting Rabbit Head and also The Measure and The Hole. Finish my journey around the perimeter — take additional notes.

What of COLORS? It’s the new Carrcass-1, or projected that way. I think it has to do with TILE directly now… probably good, as Hucka D. says, that I resurrected the Temple in Aotearoa, and in an “uber” way again. Let’s bring in Hucka D. if he wishes. “Hucka D.?”

Hucka D.:

Greenup Yd has a few words to say tonight.

bb:

Ok, bring him on in.

Greenup Yd:

The Hole is lonely.

bb:

Does it need, um, love?

Greenup Yd:

The Hole is The End.

bb:

Constantinople?

Greenup Yd:

Yes. I believe that’s it.

bb:

The love we give, and such…

Hucka D.:

Love is in The Hole.

bb:

Thank you both. Think I’ll do some research before hitting the sack again… might write a bit more in this post about further insights…

Greenup Yd, 01

“Greenup Yd, let’s talk more about the relationship of Drink Lake and the sea surrounding Yd Island — you. Actually, perhaps I should at least touch base with Hucka D. first.”

Greenup Yd.:

I am fine at first. VILE.

bb:

Hello Greenup Yd. You are Yd Island and the surrounding sea and The Hole all at once [and one in all]. (pause) Is the island partly the Mmmmmm’s homeground as well?

Greenup Yd.:

In parts I have been warped, like a dent. Two in one.

bb:

Are you saying there’s a direct connection?

Hucka D.:

Greenup Yd must get more rest now. Big day tomorrow for him.

bb:

Hi Hucka D. What’s happening tomorrow? Wait, suppose I know again.

Hucka D.:

Yes. The Drink Lake region, specifically the Mmmmmm’s homeground, and Yd. Island and the surrounding sea are intimately connected. The Hole represents a warp in time. That’s a sort of crinkle in space/time.

bb:

Is Greenup Yd, then, really from Drink Lake? Is he Vileness Fish? Again, I know the answer: he is fish and bird in one. Up and down, or down and up I suppose.

Hucka D.:

What is the equivalent to Parsons Vale? And of course you have the microcosm of the hole on Yd Island itself. You might want to send Wilsonia into that. Give him or her a role [in that way].

bb:

I’ll think about that. Thanks. What of the Billfork resonance with the stone circle, formerly a stone and orange pumpkin circle?

Hucka D.:

You were looking for the place The Bill or The Bills came from. I think you might have found it(!)

bb:

Should we talk about that more tonight. I mean, did The Bill *own* Yd Island or possess it in some fashion?

Hucka D.:

The pumpkins were left there just so long that you would notice them and make the association with the Billfork diagram. I’d say a review of Floydada, then, is in order.

bb:

Thanks again. Obviously, as well, this relates to the Greenup collage series.

Hucka D.:

Yes. We can look at that again [soon].

bb:

I don’t think I should hike around Sunklands much right now… focus should remain on Yd Island and environ.

Hucka D.:

Good you gained a foothold here — or there — before rebuilding the temple in Aotearoa.

bb:

Did The Bill make Rabbit Head, then, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

The Bill made Greenup (yellow down).

bb:

Interesting. Greenup Yd is the same as the island, though. And the sea surrounding it. And, er, The Hole.

Hucka D.:

The Hole is really not what’s important [yet]. It’s just a way to point out the VILE/VEIL – LOVE flip.

*****

Did The Bill create Uniko here on Yd Island, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

They created the translation. Unicode. 2E2E.

bb:

You said the people of Jeogeot came to Yd Island at one time.

Hucka D.:

*You’re* here. Seriously [though]… (pause)

bb:

Hucka D.?

Bill, The:

In the end we came down from south up to north. Up. Interior beings limited us movement verily say ye. Ultimately we hoped, hopped, the train to South Georgia and took the commute train to Texas for a whirl. Inevitably we saw limited plains of knowledge and diffidence. Interiorly we understood the reason for The Hole, then. Oil. Oyl. Ulteriorly interestingly enough it was just a crimp in time/space. Eventually, ultimately, exteriorized into being just before midnight sunset at 9 o’clock pm.

Checking In…

“Hucka D., you there?”

Hucka D.:

I there.

bb:

Any thoughts about the Ubertemple?

Hucka D.:

Cram everything in there. Delete the Victorian house at least. Ubertemple is good. Ubertemple is sort of kind of cool. Keep up with Chilbo.

bb:

So you like the Ubertemple.

Hucka D.:

What’s not to like… except it’s a monstrosity, hehe.

bb:

Right. It is. Logical progression, though. Had to be done.

Hucka D.:

I made Gold come. I made all those actions happen [that allowed you to keep your property].

bb:

I don’t doubt it! What of Villeneuve?

Hucka D.:

Oh, keep exploring there. Renting and exploring. The Hole. Want to talk to Greenup Yd tonight?

bb:

Eh, why not.

Greenup Yd:

Hi. Ho he hu.

bb:

Hi.

Greenup Yd:

The other side is the dark side. Light side to left, dark to right. Hole to top. Hill to bottom. To far left is the harborers of The Spider. To far right are yaks.

bb:

Yaks?

Hucka D.:

I think he means yachts. Any specific questions for either of us?

bb:

Ummmmm… guess not.

Hucka D,:

Then we’ll bid you good night. Good night baker b.

bb:

Same to you guys.

*****

bb:

Oh, Hucka D. or Greenup Yd, what about The Spider you mention?

Hucka D.:

Want to go there? It is also called The Scorpion. In fact, I think that’s the only thing it’s called. No Spider, then. It is sealed up by the presence of The Hole. You don’t want that thing to get loose.

bb:

Ok, we’ll talk about that further another night, then.

Sinks, Forests, Glyphs, Older Pics…

Otaki Gorge sink from Big E. South.

Big Sink from Big E. West by northwest.

Not shown: Aotearoa sink *directly* north. Hard to see, even, from the upper levels since it’s so close.

Baker Bloch at a rezzed treehouse on the Villeneuve property, overlooking the nice forest dominating the sim and toward Rabbit Head (unseen here).

Glyphs at The Measure again.

__________

Some old photos to close this post, first of the original ground gallery of Baker’s on the now chopped-to-pieces Azure Island No. 1, former largest of these islands and about the same size as Yd Island. This was also the first gallery called the Edwardston Station Gallery, although that name eventually came to be attached exclusively to the complete set of 10×10 collages.

Closeup of Karoz. Now why have an “ordinary” looking avatar when you can make a Karoz??

New Ubertemple > Big E Gallery (“Biggie Gallery)

Views from Route 10, etc.

I had to delete the Victorian house and also the Slum econo apt. No big surprise there… wish I could keep them long term at *some* location!

Already some really nice vantage points inside the Big E, like this waterfall + giant tree on floor, um, 13 I think.

The Big E itself from the back. Actually this is the front of the “E” I suppose, since the other way it would be a Big Schwa. But it’s just too much trouble to call the gallery that… it’s Big E. All of those ramps blocking the view have since been removed. See here for a comparison.

Inside the E Gallery… Baker continues to wonder about his ultimate relationship with Chilbo. And Jeogeot as a whole. And Sunklands, then.

The 40 meter falls within Big E. Baker Bloch sits in the upper of 2 rooms devoted to his pre-10×10 collages, all created, I believe, in the 1980s and 1990s.

The evolving, or I suppose devolving ground situation. Cottage is only structure left now. I like the new, giant tire in the middle of the waterfall, though, a type of bridge so that Baker can more easily walk from one side to the other.

Baker at the waterfall again inside the Big E, surrounded by his old, old collages.

Loose Thoughts…

Recently renamed Big E Gallery (formerly, as of yesterday, the Ubertemple of TILE or, the day before that, the New Ubertemple of TILE), is, I definitely feel, my pinnacle of building achievement so far in SL as an “outsider architect”. It is essentially a mashup of about all former galleries or gallery ideas. I’ve been working very hard this weekend on it. I’ll post more about this soon!

Relationship with Chilbo: *must* read Chilbo’s new draft proposal to join the Linden Lab Community Partnership Program. Big doings! I wonder if I’m still on the big board over in town hall??

But Big E Gallery kind of puts, well, a lot of things into perspective, or has that potential, including my future relationship, if any, with Chilbo, and also the Jeogeot continent as a whole. It looks like I’m committed to stay there for at least several months more, maybe even longer. A type of permanent relationship? Am I destined to stay put in Sunklands? Have I found a *true* virtual home?

Still rent on Yd Island — want to continue exploring the island and probing a mythology. Let’s bring in Hucka D. since I’m limited in time tonight.

Hucka D.:

Here’s Greenup Yd…

Greenup Yd:

I am the island and the sea around the island and the hole the sea disappears into each night. I am sun and moon together now. Greenup and yellow down.

bb:

Hi Greenup Yd. Hi Hucka D. Do you know about my Big E Gallery… it’s brand new, but I thought the echoes…

Greenup Yd (interrupting):

Sun and moon together. Jeog–e–Geo–

bb (interpreting):

Jeogeot. The Jeogeot continent. Are you familiar with that?

Greenup Yd:

No, not sue much. Noo [=new?].

bb:

Do you know, though, of the Mmmmmm’s?

Greenup Yd:

They use to live on me. Still do in variant paths, of course. Harboring. Yaks.

bb:

Do you know of First Tree and/or Big Log?

Greenup Yd:

The Mmmmmm’s, yes. First tree is where you live now.

bb:

Interesting. I was thinking about that today… trying to figure out what might be the equivalent to First Tree. Then I realized: I now live in a tree [in Villeneuve].

Greenup Yd.:

Oh so furry upper down quantum leap baby ole man leopard…

Hucka D.:

We better say goodnight. Thank you.

bb:

Thank you.

Review: Big E Gallery

Not much time tonight for a new post, once again. Want to quickly review progress on Big E Gallery.

Now have the equivalent to the Edwardston Station Gallery, The Gallery at the Temple of TILE, Where are we on that? exhibit, and the old Big E Gallery inside the new and greatly enlarged Big E Gallery in Aotearoa. I’ve also included a small exhibit on Pieland (using photos and props from my Big Island house in Comet Archipelago), and have also devoted 2 large rooms next to the ESG to pre-10×10 baker b. collages, 10 in number. The rooms are open to the 40 meter waterfall inside the temple — quite nice!

I have about 80 more prims to work with, and have deleted all ground structures except the Chilbo created cottage that’s always been on the property since I started renting it, although it’s moved a tiny bit east since Oct. I’ll have to carefully monitor lag within the Big E Gallery since there’s *so* many objects in the area, and a number of scripts now (teleporters, notecard givers, hovertext, url givers, vistor’s counters (2)). I’ll attempt to reduce the size of picture textures when possible, following the lead of the Ruins in the Woods exhibit and also the new Ozland pictures.

A quick Ta Do list, then:

The Big E exhibit within the Big E Gallery, that is, the Jeogeot oriented exhibit within the 50 meter high E itself, has been unlinked and is open to the public, whenever they show up (I’m believe the gallery has had only a couple of visitors, at best, so far). Trouble is, the gallery/museum’s story ends at the beginning of my Sunklands saga at around mid-August. Do I fill up, now, the rest of this “E” with the story of Sunklands? Or do I put that story somewhere else in the gallery, perhaps higher up. I’m leaning more toward the latter.

Also I want to review all blog pics since August to see what else I want to upload into SL and mount onto a prim within the gallery. Thinking of the Corisica Prime-Pennsylvania map for certain, and also, er, more on Big Island/Pieland/Comet Archipelago? Picture of Orion’s Vale.

New Yd Island mythology is still developing, and could become a very important link between SL and toy avatars. Theory goes that the Mmmmmm’s have direct links with Yd Island through their traditional homeland in Herman Park. I’ll have time to develop this over the X-mas break, as well as re-reading the blog for further ideas about the future of Sunklands, and how to display its history within the Big E Gallery. Very excited, still about the gallery for certain (!) A bit more wiggle room in terms of prim numbers for another exhibit or 2.

“Let’s just end with Hucka D. Hucka?”

Hucka D.:

Greenup Yd is around the corner waiting to speak.

bb:

Bring him on in if you wish.

Hucka D.:

X-mas is around the corner as well. X and Y.

bb:

You got all your X-mas presents bought, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

I have one present for me that I haven’t bought. It’s a new virtual reality, hot off the press. Called…

bb:

Lemme guess… Farmborough.

Hucka D.:

Close! It’s called “Paradise Falls”. No, it’s called “Greentop Yellow Belly”. Wait…

bb:

You work on that, Hucka D. How about Greenup Yd tonight, then?

Hucka D.:

S U N K L A N D S (Hucka D. spells this out, with distinct gaps between each letter)

bb:

You’re emphasizing that I must think more about Sunklands now?

Hucka D.:

Parsons Vale. SL-RL connection. Toys. Mmmmmm’s.

Greenup Yd:

I am wanna be uppyland venture package remark unit proxy it’s a day long event sponsored by uppyland venture package. We’ll be having roast beef for dinner… diner. Intil uppy ergle wanna be uppy fur that (!)

Big E Gallery — Creating More Space

More on this soon. Just some new visuals now, basically.

This is my Wall of Associations at the top of the 50 meter, 10 story “E” inside the Big E gallery. Had a lot of fun collaging all the various pictures taken for my blog together — never done anything quite like that before (again, I’ll most likely have more to say about the associations involved quite soon). Big E is dragging me into elevated places that I haven’t explored previously in SL, in a mental way that is. And, I guess, also a physically elevated way, since this floor is quite high in the overall gallery.

More rather stunning visuals within. You can see a bit of the sky now from the bottom of E.

A square trapped Hucka Doobie stares up with Baker Bloch on this one.

Loose Thoughts… Chatting…

Again I do not have a lot of time tonight, or my neck won’t allow me much time. Been on computer too long today. So let’s move to Hucka D. and talk about continuing developments of the Big E Gallery through him and perhaps Greenup Yd and whoever else wants to show up tonight. “Hucka D.?”

Hucka D.;

Good idea to talk through me. I am [a] transparent [soul].

bb:

Greenup Yd around tonight, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

Oh he’s lingering [as usual].

bb:

Nice. I suppose I’ll work more on the E gallery inside the Big E Gallery… hafta think of a better name for that, um, sub-gallery now.

Hucka D.:

I’m admittedly very excited about all this. I saw you heading here from the beginning, [though]. I knew everything led to Sunklands. S U N K L A N D S (Hucka D. spells the name out again, with a pause between each letter).

bb:

For a dollar a day, it’s quite a lot of fun I must admit, Hucka D. This is definitely worth it. The old Aotearoa version of the Edwardston Station Gallery *may* have been worth it, plus the view into the Aotearoa sink itself. But now… no doubt. Big E Gallery was where it all was heading. I see that as well.

Hucka D.:

But don’t forget about The Hole. And Yd Island. Suppose we can’t wait any longer.

Greenup Yd:

Hellu. Have a nice day to you fellus. Wingie womp actual tiger woods golf tournament make-see. Mazie. Mays.

bb:

You a Tiger Woods fan, Greenup Yd?

Greenup Yd:

Hafta go lightly footed webbed archer tom kite mississippi two three one everybody involved.

bb:

(pause) Fascinating there, GY. Can I call you GY?

Greenup Yd:

Fascinating GY. Greenup Yd.

bb:

Um, let’s just go to another question. Hucka D., jump in at any time… feel free to, that is.

Greenup Yd:

Everybody’s hefty bag tight wad columbine muscle-bound idiot tiger woods hefty tree tree persimmon driver. Golf. Gold.

bb:

You play golf Greenup Yd?

Greenup Yd:

Everyone else tight wad muscle bound idiot tiger woods ansy gentle ben urbane seeker lipsink… synch. Perfect… pretty… purdy. (pause)

Hucka D.:

Suppose that should be it for Greenup Yd tonight. Anything else, baker b.?

bb:

No. Suppose I should log off. Thanks to you both.

In the shoes of Cornfields…

“Hucka D., I think the Cornfields are going to start to take over. From Greenup Yd?

Hucka D.:

Better ask him first.

Greenup Yd:

I is heres. Winner takes all. Loser takes mall. Oleoniburgistanislaw.

bb:

Right. Greenup Yd?

Greenup Yd:

Ya?

bb:

Do you know the Cornfields?

Greenup Yd:

Indubitably.

bb:

Do you know about COLORS or COLOURS?

Greenup Yd:

Invariantly. Unconscionably.

bb:

Good. Are they Adam and Eve? Or Adams and Eva, I suppose?

Hucka D.:

I will answer that. Yes. They are. They are the beginning, the rebis. Sorta like Baker Bloch and Baker Blinker. They are them in another form. Facebook form.

bb:

Right. Thanks for that.

Hucka D.:

You need to tidy up your gallery and then begin to explore around Yd Island again. Greenup Yd is becoming impatient, or perhaps he would put it as impertinent or something else [nonsensical].

bb:

I need to read over the blog too.

Hucka D.:

That you do. Go back to The Hole now. Go back to Yd Island. And let the Cornfields grown in their native soil.

bb:

Thank you.
