Two days prior to the event, I happened to visit the owner of the field, James Hussey and his lovely wife Jill. They also own the field below Hackpen Hill that contains the huge 3D-cube. I went to see them with Paul Jacobs with the intention to present them our books and some money that Paul had collected in that formation. I have described this in a previous field report. When we arrived, we noticed Julian Richardson was there. This surprised me as I hardly ever run into Julian in the crop circles. James Hussey was holding a piece of paper in his hand which showed a diagram that both Paul and I recognised as the diamond that would appear in the field only hours later.
