Whatever one thinks that photo is, at first glimpse, it is not. We’re given the impression of a train. It is not. It’s like four dome-head aliens looking over I don’t know what. On the left we see something resembling pipes.

What Mata thinks:

I don’t think it would be unreasonable to believe that Kubrick created a photo montage here.
