Peter’s Grave.

Snapshot1219_001

In a considerably larger change, a truncated version of the X-Spot Gallery is coming to Collagesity, probably featuring the works of fellow a/v syncher Mike Casey and Second Life collage artist Kenneth Rougeau, as well as a version of the significant “Jegeot Through Art and Word” exhibit, begun right here in Noru several years back. Excitement once more, but par for the course for Collagesity. This gallery will also link several town buildings directly with each other, including the Kidd Tower, Power Tower, and Fal Mouth Moon. More details as they come in.

Patiently 02

Seems like for the past several days, things I’ve designed for Collagesity have been rather quickly removed: Giant Carrcassonnee; White Tower. The underground remains intact, and I like that effect quite a lot. But frankly what I’m waiting for is the potential development of a *Southside*. But does Collagesity really need a Southside? — that’s a question I must be asking side by side with seeing this potential.

Traditionally about 2 months into ownership of even a larger tract of Second Life land, my interest in it begins to wane. Better — I use the generated energy and *shift* it into other interests. I’m doing my best not to let that happen this time.

What could the shift be this go around? Well, another carrcass is on the horizon — I certainly know some of the components. I haven’t started it, but the gear up could begin today, even. That’s how those things work.

Full bore GNIRPS research is another possibility, but perhaps more remote. 2 months into Rubi’s VWX Town, I shifted toward a heavy duty Shining obsession, generating a potentially separate work from the blog called “6 5 Weeks of Shining.” in late December and January.

And then there’s always collages. 🙂 The Shining research itself shifted over to intense collage generating in early February, a momentum that carried, to my great surprise, though April.

Then there’s the Great Outdoors. Well, Frank and Herman Parks to be specific. Check the title of this blog — everything is suppose to revolve around those parks — carrcasses, virtual village stories, collages — everything. And this year another big step forward was taken, I feel, through the creation of a good number of collages *based on photos taken of these parks.* Again we can be pretty specific about a location: Whitehead Crossing in Frank Park. But this impetus finally petered out in May as the heat, gnats, weeds increased. My woods photos mainly come from the spring and fall, or about March-May and then September-November.

This blog was suppose to focus on those parks and not Second Life, unlike my former Baker Blinker Blog (2008-2012). Yet it’s turning out to be a pretty direct continuation of that older blog.

Patiently…

… waiting for the Other Side to open up. 1 week. 8/8/.

Hucka D.:

This happened before.

Snapshot1213_029

bb:

That looks like an amalgamation of Master Shake and his bud Meatwad. [Even accompanied by Frylock’s eye.] But it’s obviously Cygnus X-1 and its accompanying black hole.

Hucka D.:

What do you want me to say?

bb:

Greater Collagesity has fractured into east, west, south, center, perhaps even north.

Hucka D.:

North is left out.

South invasion.

Snapshot1215_001
A second attempt, this time from the North. Miserable failure.

Same morning: rebirth of the White Tower.

Snapshot1215_007

Same evening: White Tower gone.

Perhaps a bit too much coffee today?

Snapshot1210_004

Yeah, this is what can happen. Giant one eyed monsters appear in your virtual village. Yikes!

“There’s not a lot…

… in the Stonethwaite sister sity, so we must turn to Devizes for more energy, power.”

—–

“Devizes needs Collagesity as well”

Hucka D.:

Yes (!)

bb:

Devizes becomes a true collage city — collagesity — like Stonethwaite before it.

Hucka D.:

After it. And before.

—–

Apparently influenced by a central Devizes link, the Collagesity town council reintroduce an older, western limit. The Westend region now seems separate.

Snapshot1209_002

Smaller Eastend, apparently composed of at least 2 side-by-side 512 parcels (beginning to be called “Mother” and “Child” by some of the more ignorant locals), also appears removed from Collagesity proper. Similarly removed Carrcassonnee, without past/future eye, rules above all else in this region.

Devizes born composer Simon May pens famed EastEnders theme song.

Snapshot1209_003

Westend’s Confluence Place remains pretty empty except for some jungle animals on the bottom floor. And Spider still has his corner on the top level. The numbers “2130” remain fixed above the entrance to the far top corridor. All other dogs have been removed; Starbuccaneer Barista is nowhere to be seen. Some without much knowledge are beginning to speak of Eastend’s child as Star in the future/past.

Snapshot1209_004

The Kidd Tower. Quite close to Eastend, and now with a type of cave mouth next to it.

Snapshot1211_001

I envision Carrcassonnee crawling down this passage, again in past/future. She’s looking for that confounded eye. Eye of the Needle might be the end result. The Noru Green Witch may know. Greenwich?

I think, then, I know where we are here.

“It appears, Hucka…

… that Devizes has become another sister sity to Collagesity, along with Stonethwaite. Devizes is a much larger burg than either of the latter two, however. Is it still a true appelation?”

Hucka D.:

Yes. Good. Obviously Adam Westend has something to do with all this. You have found a Devizes painter and writer who may be the same as this Westend. Probably not, but we must check out all the corners. Fal Mouth Moon is a castle. Devizes has a castle, but a smaller faux version of a truer castle in the past. Baker Bloch uses the batgun to open up a portal between Collagesity and Devizes [in this Collagesity castle]. Adam Westend — “Batman” — comes through. Devizes has also been reborn as a summer destination for the coming year. You start to prepare, well, now. Today. Tonight.

bb:

Thank you, Hucka D. Even if I end up not going I’m going to prepare nonetheless.

Hucka D.:

Yes. That is the meaning of all this. Baker Bloch uses a batgun to open up a portal between Collagesity and Devizes in the Fal Mouth Moon, one of the few Wiltshire images appearing in the Falmouth [collage] series within. The Power Tower Gowlery, in contrast, is chocked full of ’em. That’s another tension, like Noru vs. Rubi. Wiltshire dominated Gilatona-Lis vs. Falmouth and its Whitehead Crossing culmination and Stonethwaite middle game. Like ironing. The Art 10×10 has kind of been left behind, however, don’t you think?

bb:

Yes. It’s the basis and foundation, but the battle moves beyond it. Is this like the battle between the Grays and the Browns?

Hucka D. (seeming to ignore bb’s question):

The batgun was used to open the portal — tunnel at Devizes. Then, *just coincidentally* — *not* — you open up a railroad tunnel in Collagesity. The two become parallel, see. You create the underground. Now… can you remember *before*.

bb:

The tunnel is also symbolic of a black hole, Hucka D. Specifically the star Cygnus X-1, as sung by Canadian rock group Rush in the mid-70s.

Hucka D.:

What’s on the Other Side?

bb:

Superman?
