Warren & his owls look out on a stump in Wilson (Wilson Stump). He knows this is where he comes from. He always remembers his origin because it is always within his sight. There is a big drop in front of him, separating carved entity from river. He lies at the end of a 15 (natural) step passage. People marche right by him all the time.

The Arches, MN

DME 6090 and two other SD40-2s drag an empty moonshine train up Stockton Hill through an area known as “The Arches.” Clearly you can see why it has that name. The future civil engineer in me loves finding cool bridges like this one while out railfanning.

When we saw this train sitting in Minnesota City waiting for a warrant, there was no doubt a chase was in order up Stockton Hill, something we’d never had the chance to do before. But since we’d never done it before, we also didn’t have a great idea of where all the good photo spots were – just that one could follow the tracks for the most part on adjacent road. So when we saw a nice girder bridge just to the east of this bridge we set up there and were quite pleased with the shot. Then we continued only a few thousand feet down the road and found this slick double stone arch bridge. The keystone on the left arch has a build date of 1882. This was a fun chase on a Sunday morning for two railfans from Central Wisconsin. Sometimes the best chases are those where you don’t really know the territory and end up stumbling onto the best of shots by accident.

More photos from this chase and other photos shot on the BNSF and CP on the same day can be found here:

Dead Center Hill (also see upper right corner of above photo): This is where it all went down. Warren also knew of the place; no lie this time. Warren again separated from Wilson and climbed this hill just to the south of the river, leaving a piece of kane (Old Kane) as a marker.

Wyatt, born on March 19, 1848, to Nicholas Porter Earp and his second wife, Virginia Ann Cooksey, was named after his father’s commanding officer in the Mexican-American War, Captain Wyatt Berry Stapp, of the 2nd Company Illinois Mounted Volunteers. Some evidence supports Wyatt Earp’s birthplace as 406 South 3rd Street in Monmouth, Illinois, though the street address is disputed by some.[who?] Monmouth is in Warren County in western Illinois.[5]

More strange stuff indeed…

smoky01

That’s all the Smoky/ pp in the US, including variations. Lo and behold, the Lovely, KY we were just talking about pops up, and right next to the only legitimate Smoky in Calvert County, MD. The variant name for Lovely, and why it shows up in this list, is Smoky Bottom.

I’m not sure if this means anything but a pointer to Kate Swift of [Winesap], who is Lovely as described by Rev. Hartman (and Lovely *and* a Beauty in the next story) and also a smoker — smoky or smokey. We know this through Smoky Ordinary, VA linked to Ordinary, VA and Glass and Lady and Achilles. The Lady is Kate again, who, at the end of the reverend’s story, becomes one with the praying child of the window who has lost his (Achilles) heel. Story of Achilles, then, to refresh my memory. This is only US Achilles besides one in remoter part of Kansas (Rawlins County).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achilles%27_heel

In Greek mythology, when Achilles was a baby, it was foretold that he would die young. To prevent his death, his mother Thetis took Achilles to the River Styx, which was supposed to offer powers of invulnerability, and dipped his body into the water. But as Thetis held Achilles by the heel, his heel was not washed over by the water of the magical river. Achilles grew up to be a man of war who survived many great battles. But one day, a poisonous arrow shot at him was lodged in his heel, killing him shortly after.

The use of “Achilles heel” as an expression meaning “area of weakness, vulnerable spot” dates only to 1840, with implied use in Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s “Ireland, that vulnerable heel of the British Achilles!” from 1810 (Oxford English Dictionary).[5]

Money may also be involved. Only 1 of 2 Moneys in US in Gloucester County, along with a historic Cash. The other is in Mississippi with possible attachments to Pink Floyd’s song Money, reinforced by Money Creek + Root River in Houston County, Minnesota, remembering that we’ve brought up this county before (archetypal 2, as in HHH). Floyd’s Gilmour croons that money is the root of all evil to-day in the song Money, a famous line of the Dark Side of the Moon album. Money is another achilles heel for a lot of people — worrying about it in various ways (not having enough, wanting more, etc.). Not the Winesap reverend’s problem necessarily, but add it to the list along with sexual temptation. At the top again, Minnesota is more about Nixon (through Hixon) and him being a crook and exposed after the ’68 election. Nixon tops native son Hubert H. Humphrey. We’ll travel down that path or Trail sometime soon as well, hopefully avoiding the Gully. 🙂

Revisiting “Marlin”

marlin01

http://www.bigfootencounters.com/articles/beaman_monster.htm

marlin03

1904 Pettis County map (same year as the circus train wreck mentioned above with the gorilla escape). I’ve indicated that Beaman use to be called or has variable name Marlin.

mo-pettis-county-1904-mapb

Other non-Marlin based variable name besides Beaman in above is Laboratory. Here is a Falmouth collage dealing with just this combination of names: “Beemen” (or 2 Beeman), related to alchemical laboratory, that may or may not be same as meth lab, a la a Breaking Bad. If latter, 2 beemen here are Mr. White and Mr. Pinkman.

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2014/04/03/nother-test/

bb:

Then in “Beeman,” the following collage, I originally had a giant turtle peering over the rock at the 2 beemen. This represents Green Turtle, which is a rock directly behind the rock pictured in the collage, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Is that the legendary Edward Stone? At last?

bb:

Unsure. But anyway I decided the turtle didn’t fit into the collage, as I kept adding in lego works originally found in “2989” a couple of weeks ago. Or maybe it was just a couple of days back that I created it. So many collages in so short a time (!).

Hucka D.:

54 and counting. You’ll reach 61. The magic number. Then your work will be done.

(to be continued)

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2014/04/04/more-collages-02/

“Green represents safety. Green represent protection. The turtle protects. Where is the cat part? Not needed to know yet.”

bb:

So this is like Jessee and Walt’s lab on Breaking Bad. Interesting.

Hucka D.:

The lab is an alchemist’s lab, not technically a chemist’s lab. The red-blue death is beyond the rock, out more in the real world. Edward Stone shelters the two individuals, busy as men bees, from all that. Until the end[ of Season 3].

bb:

Edwardston’s number is 3, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Now if we look at that picture (“Beemen”), we can see more the process. It deals with TILE. The blue lego piece at the top gives first clue that this is the top of the TILE Waterfall, and the tile/lego is about to drop down. Falls. The only reason we do not have a type of death at the bottom of the fall or falls is The Contraption. The Contraption must be a perpetual motion machine, and it is. It works backwards and forwards in time[ as stated]. It powers the fall of TILE. The lego pieces are like the marbles that fall. Pull up a picture of Newton 09 if you wish.

Then, as we already know from early in Collagesity’s history, we have a link between Falls County Texas and its central Marlin (largest pop place of that name?), and Tired Falls of my virtual village, along with the falls pouring out of the front of the town diner. Perch.

Blood (= present Bennington) there stands for kin, as in kinship between Edward(s) and Sam(sV.). Graysville obviously points this out. Black and Browns in same co. has connections to other map areas. Golden Gate? Bone Gap? Siegert?

Griffthsville conj. Happy, AR (Andy Griffith to Happy Days, specifically “Opie”)

In this White County, AR map looks like Happy lies direct west of Ellen. In Texas,Ellen is on *Happy Union* topo map, and 1 county down from Happy in Swisher County, which also contains Kress (see here on that connection). This points to gay marriage (swisher: derogatory term), and happy as synonym of gay.

White County Arkansas

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_strainer

See: Tea conj. Strain, MO above. In Northfork, character Tea is constantly seen *steeping* tea. The character becomes what he holds.

Tea is obviously a gay character as well… flamboyant (like CKressley).

Only 1 Ursula in US, in Sebastian Co, AR (Ursula is name of waitress in tile 10). Already been connected to Ursula in Carrcass-8 through Doctor’s Creek just to its north.

But… Doctor’s Creek tributary above Ursula is called Doctor’s Fork, and a “Doctor Fork” is mentioned in Billf. (who will arrive soon with the antidote, or is it anecdote?). Doctor Fork is mentioned just as we see fishing lure behind sun visor in car (tile __). Also this looks like spoons, another utensil like forks. Fishing lure assoc. with Doctor Fork as creek or stream, perhaps. Doctor Fork may also then be assoc. with Dr. Who through Ursula. Of course Dr. Fork from audio is a link to North*fork* movie on the video side, akin to Bottom Feedlers (or Fiedlers) and Ursula’s mention of bottom feeders.

Must also analyze Billf. in terms of Greenup collage series, starting esp. with Greenup 03.

——

Speaking of which:P Diamonds Restaurant, also in Franklin County and known coast to coast according to ads. This is reference to Atlantic and Pacific, and Franklin County itself as microcosm of America herself. Proof?: Pacific town on east side of county, and Japan (Pacific on west for that country) on opposite side of county, just below aforementioned Tea, etc.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific,_Missouri

Pacific was laid out in 1852. It was so named because here the new railroad started for the Pacific Ocean.[7]

In 1903, a great fire arose in the middle of downtown and the entire city burned. The city has never fully recovered.

In Billf., we start out with Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Part 1 (Atlantic, probably) and end at SYD Part 2 (Pacific, most likely). In the middle of the synch we have Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, combining the 2 and probably representing Great Lakes as whole. These 2 Diamonds, separated (quote Floyd here syaing the 2 parts were originally together, but split on opposite sides of WYWH album with songs between them).

Tile 10 of Billf. comes at approx 1/3rd point in sync, and at end of part 1 of 3. At end of this tile, we have the cuing of Division Bell to whole part 2 of 3 (throwback tile), but with important inserts. We’ve mentioned Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds in the middle of this tile. “Kanes” (evacuation committee) attempt to guess the 2nd and final Floyd album to be used in the sync, theoretically. Walter (J. Woods) succeeds, and the actual album then starts (get exact cue point). This begins tile 11, then. Ursula, after Walter’s successful guess (chicken broth): “Cup or bowl?”

Epsi qualifies as a safe enough spot, not technically on Bill Mountain but quite close. You can walk across The Way to many other destinations. You are not obliged to visit Bill Mountain when you head to Epsi. You can skip that part. But you can also visit Little Wiltshire and bypass Rust Spot. And I’d keep bypassing it if I were you. And *definitely* don’t use the dumpy junk there for your Epsi builds. Even import material if you have to. Go there tomorrow and map out the place. It has interests.

… while Pepsi is a diamond.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dispepsi

The album was an attack on the highly competitive soft drink companies Coca-Cola and Pepsi, who are believed to flood the airwaves with advertisements. The title is a variation of dyspepsia, which is synonymous with indigestion. The word “Dispepsi” deliberately does not appear anywhere on the album artwork, but a telephone number was set up to provide the proper title. It is scrambled into anagrams including “Pedissip” and “Ideppiss”, as the band originally believed they would be sued for trademark infringement if the actual title was shown. Once Pepsi lawyers indicated that they had no intention of suing Negativland, they began referring to it by its actual title.[2]

Also compare with Glass Island (on other end of bay from Gloucester and attached county) here: http://bakerblinker.wordpress.com/2012/06/08/concreek-parallel-research/

It seems like Epsi acts as an alternate path to Con Creek (also revisited today, or at least The Island part). It is a rebranding of The Island perhaps.
