“Just checking in”

Hucka D.:

Baker Blinker will become the Queen of Jeogeot, Alma I as the townspeople will title her. What will Baker Bloch’s reaction be? Can they eventually rule as King and Queen?

bb:

It’s an interesting idea, and, I think you would like to add, an inevitable conclusion of the Jeogeot equals SID equals Wazob concept. Collagesity can stay alive as the result.

Hucka D.:

Projects will be sorted. A SID’s 1st Oz interview is in store. You will interview *me*. How about that? But we’ve already spoken about the possibility.

bb:

Yes. I believe we must warm to the project. How do you wish to attack SID’s 1st Oz this time, as opposed to other times by other[ spirits]?

Hucka D.:

Booker and baker? Baker is you. Booker is you? I am Hucka D.

bb:

You’re saying you are a real[ spirit] and the others are fake or faker?

Hucka D.:

Yes. I am the Bee at the center of SID. I cause the mobius triangle that trips Jack Pumpkinhead, sparking the synchronicity itself. Where is the grounding 4th? It must be the wound up Tik Tok. Tik Tok is me as well in the movie — the Bee of the film. To ground me is to ground the new SID’s 1st Oz interview.

Hucka D.:

I am becoming 1Pink.

Quick notes…

Carrcass-11 might be mapped out already. I still have to tape and fine tune, but I should have a fixed work by next week. Excitement yet again (hurrah!). Unfortunately I can’t talk about it much in this blog. I will go so far as to say it represents a primary mesh between two related movies, add in two secondary video sources.

Perhaps on a somewhat related note, Giant C or Giant Carrcassonnee has been removed from Collagesity to free up prims, but may return now that I have a considerable cushion in that area thanks mainly to the replacement of House of True Lies with a 2 prim slum building. It’s a good looking product, and, anyhow (I must ask myself), how much would I go into the House of True Lies for anything? At current time I have about 260 prims to work with in Collagesity proper. Many more are added through my Southside property, but since I plan to sell that in about 2-3 weeks I’m not going to count those prims.

I forgot to mention that I also bought the Arrowtown property this week and lumped it in with the rest of Southside.

The X-Spot/Middletown developments remains on hold as I complete C-11. Giant Carrcassonnee, I feel, will return to the collage village, at least at times. I need her wise, oracle-type advise on matters such as Middletown, Jeogeot, C-11, and beyond.

Notes

A Carrcass-11 appears to have begun. Excitement! A strange one… but all seem strange at the beginning. It will evolve. But it will also take energy from Second Life development now.

For that reason and others (prim limits comes to mind) I might simply table the Jeogeot Through Art and Word exhibit and fill the X-Spot Gallery just with collages. The art of Andy Burgess and his crazy quilt cityscapes might be a good choice, and seems to mesh with the idea of Collagesity as a large montage in and of itself. I had Baker Bloch fly around the old area of Middletown yesterday and some interesting things perhaps remain but most is now vacant land. I’m not sure an archelogical dig into that region will be successful in uncovering significant stories about its past. But I’ll keep trying. So I think I’ve about decided that JTA&W will have to go, and I won’t enlarge it instead.

I’ve positioned several one prim buildings on a parcel next to Southside that remains vacant. I’ve im-ed the owner and stated that if he wants to remove them it’s fine with me, and I just erected them as transient eyecandy. I even have a name for the small neighborhood: Arrowtown. The bow of the statue Diana aims an arrow directly into its heart, with 3 lone, snoozing residents — friends, as it were — as focused-in targets.

Overall town goverment remains vaguer. I don’t think Westend’s Confluence Place will be demolished now, as I found out I can cut its prim numbers almost in half. But Westend as a whole has little personality, and contains no galleries as such. The planned Stairs Gallery No. 2 at the end of the main path cutting through the suburb remains empty, as does the town hall. As does the Confluence Place mainly, subtract the several jungle animals positioned on the bottom level just in front of its large, square waterfall. Oh, and the small dog named Spider still standing and spouting out permutations of the number 2130 in his recess on the top floor. The House of True Lies appears to remain a place where townspeople resurrect when they die, but I’m not totally sure. What direction is Westend headed, if any?

I always want to have about a spare 200-220 prims to work with when I reduce back to just Collagesity and Westend. Yes, I’ll have to “give up” Southend in about a month, although the possibility remains that I can turn over the land to a rental agency like Lama Estates. But even if so, Southend’s prims will be separate from the land I own, so I’m going to have to reduce anyway. Unless I shift my sky sandbox over to Southend — I have plenty of prims left to work on that parcel presently.

Anyway, just an update for those who are curious.

Arrowtown.

Pictures just in case it goes away soon; probably part of Southside.

Southside kinda sorta finished!

Just that fast. I’m a quick Second Life collager. Turns out it became a large town park, complete with a looping train track (and train!) and a quite vast array of freebie plants and flowers, almost all of whose original prims counts have been lowered thanks to that oh-so-handy prim>convex hull physical shape type conversion I learned about recently. More details soon. Just wanted to let the reader or readers know it’s basically finished.

Snapshot1275_001

Next up are important decisions concerning Collagesity Proper structures. My thinking has shifted to the idea of demolishing the Confluence Place, and freeing the jungle animals within to roam as they will. Perhaps they’ll end up in the wilds of Southside, already populated by another elephant and a spotted horse. Important decisions as well coming up about the town government structure. As I see it currently, the metro region is divided into Central (Collagesity “Proper”), Southside, Westside, and perhaps even an Eastside — more unsure of the latter. The town mayor position remains in limbo, what with the death of Baker Bloch. Never mind that he’s been virtually resurrected in the meantime. He’s dead in the minds of a lot of community people. Yet the logical replacement, Starbuccaneer Barista, remains in hiding or exile. A committee was formed to search the ulta-mysterious Corridor 2130, with only 1 bitten tongue and 1 bruised ego suffered as injuries. Cardboard Derek Jones has hinted around he wants to run for Westside mayor, if that position becomes manifest. Seer Adam Westend has become Adam Southend, as his Cape May cottage has been moved from former to latter. Greenup collages will soon be set up within. Maybe C. D. Jones should run for Southside’s mayor position instead — again if it comes to that. But what of Central, this Collagesity Proper, where basically all Greater Collagesity’s art exists? A compromise might be to bring back Baker Blinker to act as town leader. Didn’t Hucka D. warn me about this possibility a while back? *Was* it a warning? I’ll have to check. Thanks, as usual, for listening dead dear reader(s).

I have a month to figure out what to do with it. Fun!

And to add to that now, a plot in what was formerly known as Middletown according to most of my blog spirit friends. Let the hands-on research begin!

I think Wappo Jack might have a fascination, good or bad, with even larger Carrcassonnee. Jealousy?

We have additional clues about the nature of Middletown from the past. Chicago is also a town in the Middle.

Baby Wappo Jack might have been born there. We might be missing his *Middle* (Story), then.

Numerologist’s 03: Jeogeot = Wazob = SID.

Plans:

Buy or rent a small plot near the heart of old Middletown (or Meddletown… whichever). I have my eye on a 1024 and possibly a 2048. Are any clues to the nature of the huge, former metropolis left behind? Surely so, one would think.

Directly associated with this, I’ve basically decided to enlarge the “Jeogeot Through Art & Word” exhibit currently taking up half the space in my newly inserted “X-Spot Gallery”. My idea is to either eliminate or move the Mike Casey and Kenneth Rouggeau art in the other half, although I’m more inclined to keep the latter since it is collage oriented.

I can’t do much more until I free up some prim space. I’ll have to make some decisions this weekend concerning land and several present Collagesity structures.

I might even go out and buy some more virtual art, which I haven’t done for quite a while… perhaps since when I was putting together the original Noru version of JTA&W back in 2010. 4 years ago… so near yet so far! I’ve friended one of the original exhibitors on facebook, which is encouraging. I’m planning to attempt to track down what happened to some of the others… may not get in direct contact with them but at least I’ll know what they’ve been up to. An example is former Sunklands artist Sambroxton String, who is Sam Broxton in real life.

“Jeogeot Through Art & Word” to be enlarged.

Another idea I had is to get the whole Jeogeot related posts from both the Baker Blinker and Baker Bloch (Frank and Herman Einstein!) blogs in better order. A Second Life acquaintance said a while back that my blog, the Baker Blinker one at the time, read like a book. Must figure out how to better coordinate the 2 blogs of mine, one complete (Baker Blinker — 4 1/2 years long) and one still in progress (Frank and Herman E! — almost 2 years old now). Will have to admit now that the 2nd blog is more a continuation of the 1st than I originally had in mind. A triangle of Second Life-Real Life (parks/woods)-Photographs exits at the center, with Photographs forming the apex and link between real and virtual mythologies. Without the heavy influence of Second Life, I don’t believe I would have gotten so involved in photos in real life as well. And then to add onto this triangle is another (4th) important element: digital collages, which my photos (and wife Edna’s) contribute to, as well as photos from others, some with permission and some without, unfortunately. Which brings us to yet another, more hidden blog influence, though one I mention now and then: carrcasses. What are carrcasses? I’ve attempted to answer this question to the best of my ability within blog parameters and have not gotten very far yet. They are collages as well, but of an audiovisual nature. They can be seen as the source or wellspring for digital collage in many ways, the latter beginning in the Greenup collage series of 2004.

To be used, probably, in yet another collage related Collagesity gallery. Stairs No. 2?

Hmm, the same site has this page about collagist Eva Lake, a friend of the author and whose work is featured in a site called *Collagetown*.

Middletown, PA and Middletown, VA show up next to each other in both an alphabetical county sort and topo map sort for that population place name. Total number of Middletowns involved: 81. Perhaps peculiar given the frequency, then.

Middletown, PA is a suburb of Bethlehem, but is located within a Nazareth topographic map. Jesus reference? Jesus is Da Man? (missing M and N from Kidd). Is this about Jesus Christ the child? We The Blog are admittedly grasping or, better, nibbling around a large edgy border that is Jeogeot’s Middletown (or Meddletown). Which the f— is it?

“Interesting that John Locke works in the real world as some kind of assistant manager of a *box* company, Hucka D. Kind of like me (!).”

Hucka D.:

You are John Locke. You are moving to Yeot.

bb:

Yes, in the past I did. From Noru. The same Noru that I live in now. And Blue Feather has kind of been ressurected in the Jeogeot Through Art and Word Exhibit — revised. This is about Jeogeot as a whole[ now]. It’s expanded.

Hucka D.:

Expanded it has. Expanded it will be.

bb:

We have to get back to The Island[ etc.].

Hucka D.:

Yes.

[Scrabble] tiles moved from Korean Channel to [form] The Column.

The tiles arranged 5×5, with 1 left over. Meddletown.

“You fall right through the middle of that “A” [ in the middle of Yeodeol]. *Can’t* be chance.”

Hucka D.:

Obviously. You need to bring in Karoz sometime soon. He knows more about Jeogeot than about anyone[ after all].

—–

“It’s also obvious to me, Hucka, that Jeogeot is Wazob. Green A followed by Red B. This is also the Edwardston Station Gallery, A, inserted in Rubi, B.”

Hucka D.:

Bud LeDerve.

bb:

Jeogeot equals Wazob equals SID, as you say.
