Comma Islands…

Comma/Bracket…

“Already tired of the Pond District, baker b.?”

bb:

Nah, Hucka D. Just following breadcrumbs [as usual].

Hucka D.:

To Comma Islands. Well, nice place.

bb:

Is there… does it have a mythology attached to it?

Hucka D.:

The fuchsia diamond seems to be a lead, no?

bb:

Yes.

*****

bb:

I think it must have something to do with the red and blue pills you keep mentioning, attached to The King and his shop. The King takes both the red and blue pills at once. Like…

Hucka D.:

Like you are in Rubi and own the Blue Feather Gallery [in Noru] at once. Time to choose? Or do you just head to [the] Corsica [continent]?

bb:

Maybe the latter. Just buy a cheap 512 and start biking/walking. (pause) That Shoebow lighthouse(1st picture above) is, though, the same as Jack Linden’s object still present on the Fuchsia sim (2nd picture above).

Hucka D.:

Seems to be. Points to the sea and ocean surrounding it. Karoz’s fuchsia diamond. He was there — there’s your mythology creeping in.

bb:

Karoz was on the Comma Islands.

Hucka D.:

More Bracket Jupiter, let’s say. Specifically designed for these islands. He is actually from Jupiter, the planet, as well. He was The King of these 2 islands. He is, in essence as well, your King. The one which was also in Ratcliff. This is his original and last home, these Comma Islands.

bb:

He does look something like royalty.

Hucka D.:

Give him back his fuchsia diamond. He needs to wear it.

bb:

I will! (if I can).

*****

bb:

I now remember from this earlier post on Fuchsia that I compared the Jack Linden rook thingie with the Temple of the Moon at Darkside. And wasn’t Gene Fade the mossman from Jupiter Rock in Frank Park. Think so… maybe another important connection.

Hucka D.:

The Fivepenny Hill that both you and your explorer friend ujiyasu climbed for the same reasons is important — linking hill. The Link.

bb:

Like with other explorers. That happens quite often — too often.

Hucka D.:

Right, hehe.

bb:

I’m going to have to look back at all my explorer friends’ blogs now. Keep following ujiyasu’s very closely, obviously.

*****

bb:

Karoz made the fuchsia diamond for The King.

Hucka D.:

Correct. It was not for himself.

The two islands are actually one island, spinning around its own axis.

Now live in Comma Islands…

Gave up a 512, picked up a 512. Not much spent, believe me.

Erected the blue Victorian house, but it was a tight fit. Bit of a front yard, nothing in back. Lots of pines. All on granite, like I had in my Timescape rental.

I wonder if Bracket will like it? Oh, have I mentioned Bracket yet? Soon!

In fact, here he is, in front of the newly erected house. I think he’s crying! Or laughing, hard to tell.

Surveying a small portion of what he still thinks of as *his* islands. The conceit!

“I kind of miss…”

“… my Ratcliff property already, Hucka D.”

Hucka D.:

Having your cake and eating it too. But you are not in control. The King is. He determined that the property no longer needed to be owned, har har.

bb:

Bracket, you mean.

Hucka D.:

Sure.

bb:

Karoz’s focus, all along, was that fuchsia diamond. He studied to be a jeweler. Next to the Blue Feather Sea.

Hucka D.:

[But] he was in Ratcliff as well.

bb:

Hmmm… what is the significance of this diamond?

Hucka D.:

Unity. Oneness. Red and blue together. I won’t say the word…

bb:

Thank you. Karoz is a layman.

Hucka D.:

Karoz is both most humble and the highest there is. Higher than The King. Only later did Bracket realize this.

bb:

We don’t get new members of the family very much any more. Probably good to pay close attention to this addition. Bracket.. we’ve determined that he’s from the Comma Islands. Born there… probably will die there. He’s use to the finer things. He was once in Ratcliff…

Hucka D.:

That’s where the 2 Kings came together. Your King you visited while in England [as both Baker Blinker and Baker Bloch], and this Second Life King, a more real King in ways. The King in England was an Ancient. The one in Second Life is pure alien, from Jupiter. You should ask him about that planet soon.

bb:

Gene Fade was from Jupiter Rock in Frank Park. Connection?

Hucka D.:

If it is, it’s through Jeogeot.

bb:

OK. Bracket ruled from the actual Bracket sim?

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

He hates Magicland, I assume.

Hucka D.:

Not hate. He just misses his castle and grounds. Some of the landscape remains from his days as king. Like that odd mountain just above Magicland.

bb:

Bracket is where Route 11 starts, Hucka D. Did The King create Route 11?

Hucka D.:

Yes. So his subjects could get to his castle. Magic Kingdom, he he.

bb:

Ahh, that was probably the village below the castle.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

And the castle sat on the hill behind it.

Hucka D.:

But Bracket knew the village was key. That’s why he named himself after it. Bracket King. Bracket Jupiter. Jupiter King. The castle…

bb:

The castle was, let’s see, in Panquehue.

Hucka D.:

Correct. (pause). The sim which sells treehouses now was ironically his arboreum. He experimented with the creation of gigantic trees.

bb:

That’s, let me check the map, Humboldt. There’s a little rock protrusion in that sim as well.

*****

bb:

The top of the mountain in Panquehue, at about a 100 meters, is part of the Sisse Singhs Flower Art Gallery now, Hucka D.

*****

bb:

He must have understood the importance of Killtower.

Hucka D.:

The magic of Killtower is now killed. He doesn’t approve of that. He plans to fix the problem. The Fixer.

bb:

But Killtower is merely Panquehue on the opposite side of the [island’s] rotation.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

*****

bb:

Here ya go. A roadside park on the upper Comma Island. Very Nascerean (!)

Hucka D.:

We better end. You have your research to do.

bb:

Thank you.

I don’t want…

… to get too far behind in my text generation, so I thought I’d do one of those posts where I add photos to accompany a stream of thought. So here goes…

First off, I eliminated the blue Victorian house from the new Comma Islands property in, let’s see, that would be the Intromoto sim. Simply too big for the parcel; will use it as a biking hq and that’s probably about it. If I decide to keep it for any amount of time. Low risk investment, as I indicated, since it cost me about 2 bucks 50. Can abandon at any time. Kind of wishing I would have… well, let’s just move to the pictures.

I started at Bracket tonight. Just teleported into the center of the sim, or where the redirect was — at the entrance to Magicland. I’ll have to give a tour of Magicland soon enough, which makes up, it seems, the majority of the Bracket sim. But for tonight I wanted to examine more the mountain above Bracket where Bracket Jupiter, aka The King, use to have his castle according to legend.

Below are some shots of a smaller mountain to the northwest of the larger one. This would be in the very southwest corner of Wood Blewit, the sim immediately east of Bracket and directly north of Panquehue, supposed former home of The King’s castle (now the home of an art gallery). This smaller mtn. is notable for its deep ridges.

Shot looking north over top of the mountain toward Magicland. I found the complex topography of the beach just east of Magicland interesting as well. It’s partially owned by the same person who owns the mountain, a Professor Messerschmidt, who runs a small emporium on the land.

Among the various goods advertised here is this time machine. Baker attempts to “time travel” to another SL location picked at random from a number offered, but couldn’t teleport into it.

Another somewhat complex pattern of granite ridges is found up the mountain in Panquehue itself, not far from the top of the mountain.

Are the 2 granite ridges pictured above, situated about 150 meters from each other, related in a psychic manner? I personally think they are clues to The King’s former inhabitation of this area.

A less interesting, to me, beach village to the south of Panquehue in Tillamook. Mt. Panquehue, as we’ll call it, is in the background.

*****

Let’s stop here and bring in Hucka D. for a minute. “Hucka D., I think I’ve figured out some more stuff about Comma Islands and The King or Bracket Jupiter. The King created Route Y, for one thing.* This was to seal off the 2 Comma Islands from each other, and create a brak, er, break in the spinning around of the two. The fuchsia diamond and the lighthouse shaped like a chess castle or rook are an indication of the location where the break occurs. Specifically, I believe its where Route Y forms a bridge and curves around the extreme southern point of the northern Comma Island. Route Y begins in *Bracket*, loops around the west side of Northern Comma Island to reach this southern extremity, then loops arond the east and north side of the same island to end up, it looks like, in Jameed, not very far at all from its “starting point” in Bracket several sims to the east now.”

“The King did this to stop the spinning, as I said, and unify the two former rival island kingdoms into one land. He established his castle on the South Island…”

Hucka D.:

North and South, yes. Those are the names of the two islands. Like New Zealand.

bb;

Thanks for that.

Hucka D.:

The King established his castle in what is now Panquehue to unite the two kingdoms into one land. He is from Jupiter, he is from Bracket. He caused the brak, as you said.

bb:

Break [you mean].

Hucka D.:

Right, break. Sorry. This break occurs at the approximate location of the fuchsia diamond, which was planted there by The King or Bracket Jupiter so you would pay attention to the Comma Islands and not focus as much on the Pond District — for now. The relationship with various SL explorers will become more apparent now. Fivepenny Hill is a link.

bb:

As was mentioned before. Fivepenny Hill always seems to have a crowd around it, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Yes!

bb:

Soooo… as I was thinking, the Temple of the Prim of the southern island has a rough equivalent in the large waterfall on the North Island.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Another planting. You must now turn your attention to the sea between the islands.

bb:

Can you…

Hucka D.:

Another night. Goodbye!

Stans & Brackage?

“It was a squaring of the circle, again. Like audio and video, unrelated, tiled together. King of the Stans and Brackage Queen, one [King] at Panquehue and the other [Queen] at Killtower. Killtower has been polluted. Panquehue’s energy has been preserved in part, and even improved in ways [through the art gallery atop the mtn. now]. The rivalry ended when the King and Queen were wedded; the two islands united. Killtower was mostly abandoned as the government shifted to the Bracket sim. Magicland is also an important trace. This is where SID is born. Through Arnold Layne.”

bb:

The invasion of the Queen’s island, the northern one of the two Comma Islands, was a loving one, you said. This became the invasion of the route (Y/11) from Bracket. Starting at Bracket, I mean. The King and Queen decided that the lower of the two Comma Islands, the domain of the King formerly, would remain un-roaded, as it were. The Tower of the Prim was planned out?

Hucka D.:

The idea of prim creation at all was planned out then. Pre-Linden to post-Linden. The King and Queen had to merge for the grid to even pass through this area. They had to agree to become part of the grid in the first place. Sacrifice. Because pre-grid is more interesting in many ways. Traces abound in that particular area [Comma Islands], though.

bb:

Thanks for that, Hucka D. The King and Queen seem suspiciously similar to the ones in [Wiltshire] England. What are the connections? — I’m assuming there are some.

Hucka D.:

They are the same. Period.

bb:

Love conquered war, then [once more].

Hucka D.:

Yes. It was a love story and still is. War was forgotten, abandoned. It was seen as fingers of the same hand trying to break each other. It was ludicrous, beyond belief even. How could such insanity take hold?

bb:

Then war was minor here, [then].

Hucka D.:

War was brewing but then there was none. Instead we had a wedding. The two islands became different and realized this difference. Killtower was largely abandoned. Route Y or 11, take your pick, was created to seal off the southern end of the Queen’s island from the King’s. This was a loving thing to do. In the water, you have indications of probable realities where war was declared. Yet in this reality it did not happen. Tower of Prims was created… mole waterfalls. All was good. The peace allowed the rest of the continent to unfurl in a less warped manner. The Klein bottle situation of Egg Hill Sink versus Chasm Deep became a new focus. The King and Queen had something to do with that as well.

bb:

I’m going to go over to Killtower as soon as I can, Hucka D.

Hucka D. (continuing his story):

As a reward for cooperating with the infant Linden grid, the King was allowed a way back to pre-grid conditions. This would be through the Ratcliff hole, also known simply as the Rat Hole. The Hole is still there, although largely unseen. The crop circle caused it, and it caused the crop circle as well. That is the King and Queen cooperating again.

bb:

I have this feeling that The King realizes a connection with Jack Skellington… there’s obviously some kind of physical appearance. Let’s take a look…

Both are tall and white with a dark suit and prominent lapels. The King’s pants are striped like Jack’s whole suit. The main difference, of course, is that The King — Bracket — is not a skeleton, with wide eyes and an elongated head.

But the similarities are there to find. Jack also had a soulmate in the movie Nightmare Before Christmas — Sally.

Hucka D.:

Soulmate, yes.

Comma Islands Underwater, 01

A one man submarine found in Twogood, not far south of the fabulous “Hole in the Sea” found in the center of the same sim (see just below). The name of the object is “The Rogue Professor’s vessel — wrecked”, with the added description of “derelict”.

The derelict submarine is just one of a number of interesting objects positioned around the central “Hole in the Sea”, pictured below with various graphics shaders checked in the SL viewer preferences. Included in these objects is another “hole in the sea”, except still sealed with a giant plug. The same sized plug for the “active” hole lies beside it; holding chain broken. This configuration begs a number of questions, including: Who unstopped one of the two holes?; Why are there 2 in the first place?; and, What would be the ramifications of having both uncorked at once?

Fyi, the small submarine appears to be quite similar to the one Baker Bloch found in a Nautilus City temple in 2008, another link between Nautilus and the Comma Islands, it appears.

More wreckage, this time in Morataya southeast of Shoebow. Ship and plane together here.

Nearby is what appears to be a Merman bunker in the southwest corner of Bogatanta to the north of Morataya.

Lots of interesting things in and under this Comma Islands sea!

Comma Islands Underwater, 02

Baker Bloch begins to seriously take account of the sea floor between and around the Comma Islands, starting with the two protected water sims nearest Bracket with the similar names of Dandrade and Danser. These are the northernmost sims of the bay separating the 2 Comma Islands.

Baker finds some interesting and often colorful rock groups in these two sims…

… but the first hint of odd things to come happens in, I believe this is Craigue, the next protected water sim south of Dandrade and Danser, just moving down the “Comma Islands” bay. This golden arm is obviously akin to statue parts found in considerable numbers underneath the Nautilus City seas by Baker Bloch in 2008, such as in this post.

Actually, in checking behind Baker today, Karoz finds the arm to exist in the northern part of Pries southwest of Craigue.

A nice, underwater grotto. This is *really* from Craigue, in the very center of the sim.

Continuing to move down the bay and past objects already covered in the Comma Islands Underwater, 01 post, we come to this nice, ridge effect especially accented in Trietbah but also extending into the neighboring sims of Lightbourne (east) and Morataya (west). A sunken and extremely rusted trawler lies near the center of Trietbah, pictured below.

Nearby is a rusted, *SLRR trolley*. Now how’d that end up on the Corsica continent half a world away??

View looking south from the southern tip of Route Y in Bogatanta– or what is now apparently called Route 11 — toward the Mermen bunker already discussed before (upper part of picture — bit hard to see from this angle).

More underwater rustiness.

Then we come to a quite fascinating area whose main structure sits in not one or two but *4* caddycorner sims. This would be the furtherest building of the two pictured below, a domed affair. I’ll have more of a report on that soon. The nearest structure, a simpler one, is an empty tunnel about 50 meters long, and partially filled with sand.

Another train part, this time an engine. This is in Lightbourne. More on that sim coming up in part 3!

Comma Islands Underwater, 03

For it is in Lightbourne we begin to find very clear evidence of the Queen’s influence in Comma Islands, starting with this temple that instantly reminded me of a more ruined example in the Bluebells sim, Nascera…

… and which I then thought just *had* to be related after finding a large, partially buried sea goddess statue nearby, the very same type of statue that guards the front of the Bluebells temple. In the Lightbourne case, the statue is a number of meters to the side and in front of the temple, perhaps about 30 or so.

Instead, directly in front of the temple (or in back — hard to tell) is yet another, remarkable object: what appears to be a low relief sculpture of a goddess with snakes for hair, like the Greek goddess Medusa. The relief even gives what seems to be a name for this deity, although I am unable to make out the word. Is it Greek as well?

Relationship of sculpture and temple.

Details, including a pink ball of coral accompanied by a horseshoe crab and a small bluish starfish. As Karoz is checking today, he finds another, smaller crab directly underneath the coral, not pictured below. The horseshoe crab perhaps mysteriously swims directly through the center of the pink coral sphere at times.

And then, lo and behold, I found a relatively intact statue of the same sea goddess in the Houltbergen sim just north of Lighthouse. I express my astonishment of this find in a more recent chat with Hucka D. To me, this is obviously a statue of the Brackage Queen who use to rule the northern and western of the 2 Comma Islands, before her marriage to The King (of the Stans). And furthermore, Hucka D. states the statue use to stare directly at the Fivepenny Hill on that island, a former center of worship. Presently it looks 90 degrees in a clockwise direction from what Hucka D. is claiming to be its original positioning, or north by northeast instead of north by northwest. The white orb it once held, outstretched, toward Fivepenny Hill portrays a lunar influence.

Surrounding the Queen’s statue are three approximately equidistant, rock arches. As you can see, numerous large boulders dot the area, seeming oversized cousins to the smaller ones within the ruinous Bluebells temple, compared to marbles in this earlier post.

Beautifully hued rocks and sea life appear under each of the three arches.

But in continuing to scan the neighboring sea sims, Baker receives yet another shocker this night: a coral reef of quite massive proportions straddling 4 sims (Savitovic, McLatchy, Pravatch, and Scryerfield), and with a circumference significantly greater than perhaps the length of a whole sim (!). The reef is divided into outside and inside sections by an oval rock path, perhaps close to 200 meters long just by itself.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Savitovic/248/4/6
More soon as I continue to absorb — I think the Queen will be involved again in this one. Wow!

Ratcliff & Bracket/Comma Islands: Another Link? (Another Link!)

“Hi Hucka D. We must get cracking tonight.”

Hucka D.:

Thank you for inviting me back. I see you found the intimate relationship between Magicland and Ratcliff. They are one!

bb:

Amazing. In this post from June 12th, I put forth the new theory that the hole of Ratcliff was centered on Mickey’s Market instead of the middle of the back alley behind the central group of stores. I just used the little collage made the night before (6/11), superimposing Ratcliff with a massive sinkhole just formed in Guatemala City, to determine this — art/pictures influencing theory again.

But it was only when I returned from our vacation in West Virginia yesterday that I understood the Mickey Mouse head shape of the front of *Mickey’s* Market, after all. The same shape is found at the entrance to Magicland in Bracket, purposeful Mickey Mouse in that case.

Soooo… what’s up with this, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

What do you think?

bb:

I think there was a hole at Magicland as well, and that the two holes are really one hole.

Hucka D.:

That is right. Ratcliff was there as well. Or Ratcliff and Magicland at once. They are opposites combined into one. Like dissimilar tiles. The hole linked, the hole made each realize the presence of the opposite. This was a reaction to the wedding between the King of the Stans and the Brackage Queen as well. The hole was formed… Ratcliff and Magicland coexisted in the same psycho-physical space in Bracket/Sesia. More parallels can be found. Scout around each location!

bb:

I have a feeling if Bracket Jupiter kept hanging around Magicland, as he did tonight (he chatted a bit with a user playing the genie from Disney’s Alladin movie — see below), that he might get banned from the premises.

Hucka D.:

We’ll see!

bb:

What is the purpose of this hole?

Hucka D.:

To create a collage of opposites that can’t possibly be in Second Life, so a hole is created to First Life.

bb:

Within Magicland, I am in enemy territory, as they say.

Hucka D.:

Not any more than in Ratcliff[, though]. We must shift to the waters to the south of the Queen’s Island. (pause)

bb:

I suppose you want more of my own theories.

Hucka D.:

Give it a shot.

bb:

OK, I think there was a segment of the Queen’s people, the Brackage, that didn’t want the marriage between the Queen and King of the Stans to take place — which we now know opened the Bracket/Sesia hole.

Hucka D.:

We’re going to be talking quite a bit more about that hole. But continue…

bb:

The seas harbored the resistance movement to this union, which wanted the Brackage to stay separate from the Stans [still]. Mermen were involved; a bunker was found. And then, another really quirky twist, statues of the Queen were found in this sea, the most intact one immediately below the Fivepenny sim. Hold on…

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Houltbergen/168/135/5

I’ve included the SL map with the picture of the Queen’s statue. This is the same image used to represent the Queen in Wiltshire County, England, Hucka D. She appears there, for instance, in a collage made for this post from March, when The Bakers (Baker Blinker, Hucka Doobie, and Baker Bloch?) first discover the King and Queen’s whereabouts in this English county (Temple Farm). I didn’t know about this statue just off the southern shore when I also assigned the northern and western of the 2 Comma Islands to this same Queen’s reign. You were there, after all, in your bee avatar form.

Hucka D.:

Do not mistake this: I am still there (!).

bb:

At Temple Farm.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Both Baker Blinker and I are still in England, guests of the King and Queen. This same Queen and King.

bb:

Hmmmm… but it seems too coincidental that ujiyasu and I would both be attracted to that Fivepenny Hill and both hike up the hill to look around at the landscape.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

And there always seems to be a crowd of avatars around that hill, Hucka D. You can see all the little green dots [representing avatars] in that map just above. For the reader or readers, the Fivepenny Hill itself is represented by a gray, shaded part of the sim [in its southeast corner]. I take a picture of it here for this blog, and ujiyasu has it here.* Is Fivepenny Hill some kind of center for the resistance movement against the King + Queen union?

Hucka D.:

Yes. And still is [in ways].

bb:

Hmmm… and then the Queen’s intact statue only about 200-250 meters away in the Houltbergen water sim [marked by the yellow circle on the same map]. Looks like she’s staring not at Fivepenny Hill, though — which might be just *too* weird, after all — but directly perpendicular to this, at right angles to it, I mean.

Hucka D.:

The statue was turned away from the Fivepenny Hill at a certain point in the Comma Islands saga you are re-developing. This was to help break the resistance movement; a symbol of its bracking. Breaking, I meant. Instead it was turned to point to Corsica Prime.

*****

bb:

War never took place, you said. Between the 2 Comma Islands.

Hucka D.:

No. The King and Queen made sure of that. Or Queen and King. Instead a hole was formed. The Hole. Good work uncovering!

bb:

The Linden grid then passed through the Comma Islands safely to cover the rest of the Cosica continent. Much like ujiyasu is blanketing the continent presently from west to east in her [blog] journal. Fascinating.

Hucka D.:

Your Japanese friend is the Queen as well [in ways], as is Nish Mip. Fellow explorers, with different styles all. You must remind ujiyasu of Sachie [Bade]’s old realm in what you call Egg Hill Sink, mostly in Orion’s Vale, though. Corisca Prime is still Pennsylvania. That was a result of the hole as well. All this fits together like perfectly made tile. It all tiles. It All Tile. Corisca is a bit different from other SL continents in that Real Life or First Life peeks through more easily there. That’s because it is newer than most.

bb:

Thank you. Dawn is bracking and I guess we should end.

Hucka D.:

Have a good Monday.

bb:

You too, Hucka D.

*****

* And, yeah, in the map shot ujiyasu took for her blog, there are still a number of avatars next to this hill (!)

Thoughts…

Fairly sure (this could change tomorrow, though) that I’m going to give up the Blue Feather Gallery, probably at the end of June. I already have the isolated 1024 parcel up for sale (L$2048 — any takers? hehe). Thought of also selling a 1024 section (west end) of my 4096 Rubi property but then realized I shouldn’t.

Further thoughts on this? Noru doesn’t have enough energy to sustain my projects separate from Chilbo, and I think it is.

Instead I thought I’d simply go around to various galleries, highlighting one per month as my “Blue Feather” gallery of the month. I believe this would be better. Have also given up the idea of promoting my own work through the Blue Feather. Lost cause.

Again, this could change. Instead my focus will be the Temple of TILE and Edwardston Station Gallery in Rubi as far as structures go. Have even enough prims to remodel the ESG sometime in the future on the Rubi property.

I’m more an explorer and storyteller than a patron of the arts in general. And I’m simply having a difficult time getting needed contacts in art circles; inability to join — for reasons beyond me — key art groups to promote my gallery. Don’t know why this is; I’ve tried through various alts now, even. So I’m strongly inclined to say: the heck with it. I’ve had no sales through the current exhibitor, no fault of theirs I’m sure. The heck with it.

In brighter news, I’m *really* pleased that the mainland mythology I’ve been nurturing coming on 2 years (since my move to Rubi in Aug 2008) is still developing and expanding at a quite healthy pace. Each continent has a story now of sorts. What gaps to fill in? Is a return to Sansara in some form, a continent I’ve neglecting basically for well over a year now, in the works? And what of Jeogeot — is it still my “home” continent? It doesn’t seem to be so now, but could be wrong. Return to Sunklands? Maybe sometime.

*****

“Hucka D.?” (pause) Doesn’t seem to be around tonight. Logging in.

“The 1024 you occupy in the Queen’s land is your old home [as well].”

bb:

Thanks for that bit of information, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

You’re welcome. (pause)

bb:

New age coming up, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Third and last. You must resolve problems w/ Klutzy Kamper. But you must talk to [delete name]. (pause) You must make peace… move on.

bb:

Intervene?

Hucka D.:

Nes.

bb:

Back to the Corisca sea.

Hucka D.:

Back to the Corsica sea. Split. Queen and not-Queen. She came from the sea, and the King, the land. Just like the King mentioned [at] Temple Farm.

*****

bb:

What is the role of the huge coral reef on the corner of Savitovic, McLatchy, Pravatch, and Scryerfield?

Hucka D.:

It is protection.

bb:

It looks like a broach.

Hucka D.:

The Queen is inside. Trapped.

bb:

It is 4 in 1. Foreign One.

Hucka D.

Golden Mean. Heart.*

bb:

You said it was protection. Protection from what?

Hucka D.:

We better end.

bb:

Thank you.

Thoughts…

Played around quite a bit with the Rubi properties today, but ended up back with the old look of the temple and grounds. Main element I was playing with: Tower of TILE. Attempted to add it to the corner of the Temple of TILE — 2 diff. things, mind you, which I thought might be one thing and still could be — but it didn’t fit in. Then attempted to add it as a stand alone structure like I had it on the old Noru property. Didn’t work either; for one thing took too much attention from the Temple of TILE.

I have enough prims at Rubi to sell a 1024 and get by (west end), but do I *really* want to do this? Have to think hard about that one; give it consideration.

Then “extra” 1024 in Noru *is* for sale still. No buyers yet.

The main point of attempting to move the Tower of TILE to the Rubi properties is so that I could better justify giving up the Noru property and the Blue Feather Gallery itself. Since the conversion didn’t work, I may have to rethink giving up that gallery. All I can do is experiment now. 🙂

Logically if I did reduce a 1024 at both Rubi and Noru, that would give me 2564 sq. meters to play with, throw in the additional 512 now used on Comma Islands. That’s a fairly big chunk of land — thinking of buying it at 1 linden per sq. meter (which you can commonly do with non-shore land now). Would cost a bit over 10 bucks, then. Possibilities: Yeot or thereabouts; Comma Islands; Pudding Hill (probably not). What to put on it? Maybe just *live* there.

*Now*, what if I got totally rid of the Noru property and reduced the Rubi property to a 3096? That would still give me 1/2 that, a 1536, to do something with.Smaller version of the Blue Feather? I’m not sure I can give up the 1024 at Rubi, though.

The Temple of TILE may be basically finished. The Edwardston Station Gallery with the 10×10 is probably finished. That’s my 2 main structures in Rubi. Well…

This weekend I want to explore the Comma Islands sea more thoroughly.

06-24-10:

Thought I’d just add some new updates to this post. First, decided to keep, for now, the “extra” 1024 in Noru after all, and have *re*erected the House of Truth upon it.

Besides Rubi and Noru, I also have the larger of the 2 Victorian houses I own set up on the northern of the 2 Comma Islands, in the Intromoto sim. Hucka D. has recently states that I-as-Baker-Bloch use to live there in pre-Linden times as well. Hmmm…

*And*, a crazy thought crossed my mind yesterday to buy in or near Yeot again, perhaps another 1024. Am I moving too fast on this land acquisition? Maybe. 🙂

Let’s try Sapphire. “Sapphire?”

Can’t we just talk, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

Oh alright. What was the topic again?

Illegal art.

Hucka D.:

What is Bracket Jupiter?

I think you indicated he was the King of the Stans, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

But he rose from Bracket. He transformed beyond it. A long process. Rebirth again and again. But he never really was from there. Think of Mouse Hole.

No. Mouse. 1/2 and 1/2.

“Plans for The End, Hucka D.”

Hucka D.:

I will be a star (!)

bb:

I see how all of this most of this, some of this is preparation for that other thing. Grassy must be involved. We must talk of The End.

Hucka D.:

I agree!

bb:

What of the Blue Feather Gallery?

Hucka D.:

You already know the answer. Illegal art will shut doors. Illegal art will open doors. Star!

bb:

I see art as information.

Hucka D.:

Others see it as style or decoration. Check out the works of others and it will be better. You are doing some good things. The Blue Feather Gallery, currently, is in the correct position. And you must think of SL as a whole — people are leaving, going other places. SL was the realm of the small time creator who could rise to a position of prominence. With the whole opening of the 3d web, this prominence will be harder to attain. Everyone will be a star. But not like me, har har!

bb:

You are star of stars, Hucka D. (smiles) Without you… well…

Hucka D. :

Doomed!

bb:

Yes, doomed. But you do not see all just most or some. We need Grassy or the equivalent.

Hucka D.:

A large, psychic battle will take place. Not really a war [but a battle]. We will use SL locations.

*****

bb:

In looking back over this text, Hucka D., I get the impression that the energy of The Wilderness battle [between you and Grassy in the past, at TILE Creek] is being displaced in the future to this harmless, playful affair.

Hucka D.:

Yes! He is northern and I am southern.

bb:

I’m going to have to understand that [comparison] better.

*****

bb:

We must prepare.

Hucka D.:

Let’s start.

“Let’s…

… start.”

bb:

Noru is the main place to be [starting]. I know this sim better than any in SL besides Rubi, perhaps. Spent more time there, I mean.

Hucka D.:

A place to start, to begin.

bb:

We have a mountain. Devised or created by the equivalent of The Devil.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

It is set in motion. Mountain becomes Hill.

Hucka D.:

Why?

bb:

Is it the onset of the Linden grid, perhaps. Lime equals Linden? Even at the beginning things get complicated.

Hucka D.:

On one side, we have Mountain creation, balanced by Mound, really. 32. Tiles are equally placed. Wormholes.

bb:

Mountain is in Ancient times, pre-Linden.

Hucka D.:

Like the true Blue Feather. See?

bb:

The Blue Feather is more a concept than a virtually physical gallery. Handed down…

Hucka D.:

Handed on to those who care and want it to continue. Others care but not as much as with their own [stuff]. (pause) You must let [delete name] claim the United States. From the beginning, the start. From the beginning and start fess up and say what you’ve been doing — hiding. You, baker b. Fess up and take any consequences. Truth or Consequences.

bb:

I see this happening 8 years down the road. 8 1/2 [Chilbolton to Crabwood].

Hucka D.:

In the meantime, many more squaring the circles will happen or take place. Tiles.

bb:

Already we teeter totter on the edge.

Hucka D.:

I will play a game with Grassy instead of waging war.

bb:

Let’s start with Kent, then.

“Let’s start…

… with Kent then.”

Hucka D.:

A book was dipped in red and then cut. 3 parts. Continent. 3-6. Spelling [bee]. New Babble. Olean… (pause)

bb:

Mathematical, then?

Hucka D.:

Mathema.

bb:

Is this related to the Book of Psalms that Charles Nelson Blinkerton — you, anyway (!) — was working on. Red Squirt 7 I believe he called the project.

Hucka D.:

I cannot answer that [yet].

bb:

Is it TILE? TILE Creek?

Hucka D.:

Yes?

bb:

A book from the father.

Hucka D.:

*Yes*.

bb:

One park retained the memory of the father, the other chose not to do so and didn’t see him/it as the father.

Hucka D.:

Frank and Herman Parks, yes.

bb:

The father is TILE Creek.

Hucka D.:

The father is the book is the creek.

bb:

But it is just that surface connection? The 2 Hermans which are 1 Herman?

Hucka D.:

More. Begin now.

“More. Begin…

… now.”

bb:

I will, Hucka D. Not sure how.

Hucka D.:

Read the book again. Not reed… read.

bb:

I red it.

Hucka D.:

Red it again. (pause) 3 parts. Reed in the park. The book is in the park.

bb:

Hucka D., I think the reel energy may be in the other book. Can I say it?

Hucka D.:

That’s in The Oracle too. You’re right in part. Parts. Mississippi.

bb:

Is that a part of the Grassy influence?

Hucka D.:

Could be. You assess your limitations. You fess up. Grassy is partly correct. Hard to swallow [pretend gulp here].

bb:

Thanks for that. What of crop circles?

Hucka D.:

That’s a main thing as well.*

bb:

Green Town. Red Planet. Red Mars. Red Marsh?

*****

bb:

bb:

I’m going back to Red Mars(h).*

Hucka D.:

Red Mars(h), Ephant…

So after Hucka D. and I chatted about a considerable number of things this night, ending with vague references to Red Mars and Red Marsh, I decided to revisit the Red Marsh sim through Baker Bloch. As in my first visit, I left none-too-impressed. But I found it interesting that the occupied plot closest to the center of the sim is called “Bit of Green”, a small but quite nice landscaped environment. Strong echoes of Bradbury’s Martian Cronicles and Greentown remained in Baker Bloch’s head as he walked the grounds, recalling that the 1948 short story “Mars is Heaven!”, later retooled as the 6th chapter of the Martian Chronicles (1950), is set in Greentown, another “bit of green”, if you will, in an otherwise barren “red” landscape.

While in the general vicinity, Baker decides to also drop in on his old Ephant rental to see what’s happening there. Seeing his old rental house available, he contemplates renewing his Ephant virtual existence — until he notices that the rental box is actually locked, as are the others also owned by BeyCor Estates in the same sim. Looks like another casualty of massive SL downsizing, like Baker has seen a lot of lately (Lill Burn Valley/Felix Meritis monastery, Pine Tree Square and Teasdale, the Kahruval Forest, and so on and so on); no return to Ephant as it was is now possible.

Why Ms. Blinker! (&, oh yeah, the other Baker on Nautilus)

So Baker Blinker is back from Temple Farm, Wiltshire, and with a new look (!) Why the change? Basically Baker Blinker will be in charge of promoting both the Edwardston Station Gallery and the Blue Feather Gallery, and in such a position and interacting with the public in a larger way, I thought a makeover was due. I didn’t want to change the color of her skin — that would take away the essential Blinker-ness, I think — but I do really like the new, gray hair, with subtle, accompanying outfit of purple shirt, white pants and grey sneakers. I believe she looks quite fetching if I say so myself, more like Baker Blinker should actually appear virtually. Baker Bloch is impressed as well, and desires his own makeover — he’s demanding a goatee for now. We’ll see what we can do. And Hucka Doobie may not be far behind with the do-over requests.

A follow-up thought: is the attached curse over for Baker Blinker because of the new appearance? I’ll have to think about that further.

For those who don’t know, Baker Blinker is actually my oldest SL avatar, and the Baker who was still the dominant one when this blog was created in 2008. Thus the name “Baker Blinker’s Blog”. Yes, I was originally a woman in SL, and the RL wife was a SL male avatar — still is, what little she’s inworld. For me, gradually dominance switched over to the other, slightly newer Baker (Baker Bloch), a change especially catalyzed with the move to the mainland and Rubi; this would be around August 2008, or about a half year after my initial immersion into this virtual world.

*****

Meanwhile, Baker *Bloch* has been exploring the upper reaches of the Nautilus continent, specially those areas closest in proximity to the Comma Islands and attached sea. Still, at the closest, an empty area several sims wide separates the 2 continents at these points.

Basically I sent Mr. Bloch there to see if there’s any possible spillover mythology coming from the direction of Comma Islands, perhaps in another future to past movement that Hucka D. claims is quite common in this virtual reality. Not sure if he found anything like that, but there was this really nice forest covering almost the entire sim of Molvena.

Circle of rocks within this forest — Baker doesn’t think it is a legitimate portal upon closer inspection, unlike a similar circle of rocks within the Villeneuve forest, say. But, come to think of it, they are on the same continent…

To the west of Molvena, in Lusiana, there’s a lot of empty beach space.

To the northwest of Molvena extends a largish peninsula of perhaps about 8 sims worth of land. The centerpiece is a castle apparently both created and owned by an avatar with the alliterative moniker of of Montelli Vantelli.

If further clues about the nature of the Comma Islands and pre-Linden governments is forthcoming from this area, it might be attached to this quite interesting castle and accompanying structures. More soon, possibly!

Odder thoughts… well, just more thoughts…

Gene Fade is the user behind Bracket Jupiter. A key link: both are from Jupiter, Bracket from the actual planet, and Gene Fade, aka “Mossman”, from Jupiter Rock, named so because of the presence of a large red “spot” on its surface.

Hucka D.:

So you found that part out as well now. You are moving quite fast lately!

bb:

Making up time for not having the best of computers to explore Second Life for so long, Hucka D. Not a problem now, especially in contrast to before.

Hucka D.:

With new abilities comes new problems. What does it mean that Gene Fade is the user of Bracket Jupiter? What are the implications?

bb:

Not sure. Oh, and Karoz, described mainly as Gene Fade’s son, created the fuchsia diamond as a wedding present for the King and Queen — King being the same as Bracket Jupiter here. Another “red spot” of sorts. You use to be able to see the fuchsia diamond as a reddish colored dot on the map of the Heatherwood sim.

Hucka D.:

Karoz was trained to be a jeweler, and then recruited by Bracket Jupiter or The King for this purpose, yes. But there was more.

bb:

Karoz was also the avatar of Gene Fade?

Hucka D.:

*Yes*. They had the same user. Two different stories; fused ending. Fuchsia.

bb:

We only have about 2 1/2 more years to wrap all this up, Hucka D. (laughs).

Hucka D.:

You’re getting more pieces. And then you should [create] the glossary. That’ll help. And more maps.

bb:

How about the castle in Piren Bistrano?

Hucka D.:

A forest was set up to protect and isolate. The castle existed mainly alone from mainland. It could, yes, communicate with Corsica across the small void there. A tunnel was even created. Kind of a cross between a pipe and a tunnel, really. The Piren Bistrano peninsula had a relationship of some kind with the Comma Islands before the Linden grid. (pause)

bb:

What of the Diamond Islands?

Hucka D.:

The what?

bb:

Oh, I seem to have jumped ahead in time somehow. It’s those chain of islands extending to the east of the peninsula we’ve been talking about, still on the Nautilus continent. Maybe… sorry.

Hucka D.:

Maybe the Queen’s broach is a [representation] of the Nautilus continent.

bb:

Of going… dang!

Hucka D.:

Of going beyond Nautilus, or so The Bill thought.

bb:

Maybe Ray the brainard is from Red Marsh (!)

Hucka D.:

That “bit of green” use to be the green head of Brainard. He picked the spot because of the proximity to the 2 seas. As you have Jupiter on the Comma Islands, so you have Mars on Corsica Prime just west of them.

bb:

In checking, my new digs on the Comma Islands (Intromoto) is just as close to Red Marsh, seemingly, as my Ephant rental was before.

Hucka D.:

No going back. But you did what you had to do. Waste.

bb:

Alright. So… er, did Bracket Jupiter *find* the head Brainard in Red Marsh, perhaps stuck in a hole in the ground?

Hucka D.:

*Yes*. Comet. It was his undoing. Or not.

bb:

This was after the marriage to the Queen. Hmmm… that image is almost worth creating a fake collage for, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

That really long peninsula Red Marsh is on (not the much smaller one with the Piren Bristano castle, mind you) wanted to become the 3rd Comma Island, but the isthumus that Red Marsh is a part of kept it a peninsula.

bb:

In the past… what is happening to our speech patterns??

Hucka D.:

In the past, this was different. A canal. Martian canal. Chronicled for the future.

bb:

I wonder if the King attempted to create the canal? Why would he want a 3rd Comma Island to be legitimized? (pause) Maybe to give it to Karoz, his son, or figurative son?

Hucka D.:

There’s [yet] another King you haven’t dealt with yet. The strait your friend ujiyasu describes here separated the two realms of Comma Islands and Corsica Prime. It could have been a battle ground but it was not. Jupiter and Mars.

bb:

The King began his wanderings!

Hucka D.:

Leaving the Queen behind at Comma Islands to rule. And…

bb (jumping ahead again):

Ephant.

Hucka D.:

Yes, something was at Ephant. Laughing at him (laughs here).

bb:

I’m still not convinced he didn’t just write off Corsica Prime as a lost, barren cause.

Hucka D.:

Greentown. New-found-land.

bb:

Thank you.

Swindon, a place of death
