Will redo these later…
Centerplace
bb:
Carrcassonnee, I don’t seem to be able to give up the idea of a virtual Collagesity, despite the Sunklands site being fulfilled to this point, despite the money involved.
Carr.:
Not that much. Keep Collagesity. Another story to come. Build up.
bb:
Bigfoot is pretty much closed up for the winter.
Carr.:
Not so much. Weather will depend. And now you have, let’s say, Ridge Edge. Redge.
bb:
Redge: good. What’s the story on that? Can you tell me?
Carr.:
Redge separates, let’s look, Rediscovery and Bigfoot, but closer to, let’s see, latter. Ladder.
bb:
It’s about halfway in-between the two, yes.
Carr.:
And then you have, let’s listen, Afterfoote?
bb:
Yeah. The secret centerplace of Bigfoot, as I’m seeing it.
Carr.:
That’s where you should build Collagesity. You have all winter.
Home.
For at least a couple more months, apparently.

Hucka D., would you like to add anything to all this?
Hucka D.:

Nautilus vs Minoa
Tonight I experimented with tripling a Moard Ling House 110 to again connect Collagesity with Collagesity Heights.
But upon also rezzing it on my remaining Nautilus City property, realized it was just a bit too awkward. Instead, the newly developing collage series will perhaps be housed in a single version of same. Whether or not this gallery will ultimately exist in Minoa and Collagesity or Nautilus City and a post-Collagesity environment is yet to be determined.

We need to interpret the collages sometime.

Later.

Hucka D. had to leave or buzz off, as they say. I’m thinking of moving one or more of my characters to Tugaske, Saskatchewan, perhaps toy avatar [Taum Sauk] or maybe Baker Bloch. I’m touring the town through Google Earth Streetview presently. More shots soon.

Mysterious cloud writing in the sky (Google Maps Streetview again). I’m making a guess what it could be. What do you think? It seems to be best seen at the very top of Atlantic Ave., where it empties into Q Street.
Julie from the town with “halo”. I hope she’d find it funny as well. 🙂 She’s also very green. Martian??
Snow in July… with almost no clouds. I don’t think so. I found this seemingly weather related phenomenon focused in the western corner of town about a week and a half back. Again on Q Street.

I’m running out of room in me Nautilus City gallery…
Collage 03 redone

And this *could* be it for the Boos collage series. I’ve basically run out of room in the Nautilus City gallery. We’ll see soon enough. Does it shift back to Rubi? Probably not.
Boos 28 & 29
Apparently I’m not done with the series (!) I’m going to have to modify the Boos gallery to accommodate new work, however. We’ll see how it goes. Excitement!
And now I’m *really* out of room in the gallery. So this may be it; unable to extend the gallery upwards, it seems (btw, land is up for sale in Minoa again).
Minoa/Collagesity Update
Land sale cancelled for now. This is possible location for the Boos gallery there. I’ll have to make a decision between Minoa and Nautilus Cy. for the location soon — and where to place it in NC, if the latter. I have the opportunity to move up, literally, to The Citadel (circular higher ground marking the center of the city). Or I just stay where I am near the Punic Woods.
It could go either way. It could go either way.
—–
Carr. speaks to say she’s not ready to speak again on this blog. I wonder if I choose Rubi/Minoa over NC that she’ll open up to me once more. New chapter in the town history?
Minoa/Collagesity Update 02
I want to create another Boos interpretation post this morning but I’ll get more speculation about the future or non-future of Collagesity out of the way. Here’s what I think I’ll do now. I will *hold onto* Minoa for at least Dec and Jan and perhaps Feb, and then in March ditch it and move my virtual home to Nautilus City. Apparently I can get a double prim 1024 plot there about any time I want — reasonable rental, like I have now — and with that relative assurance, can play out my hand in Minoa. As I’ve found out in the past, the dead of winter is not the best time to downsize in Second Life, really. I’m trapped inside more, on the computer more, have more days off as well. I have about the ideal amount of land for Collagesity in Minoa. My only complaint is that it’s stretched out a little too much east to west, but everything still seems to fit. I have a nice spot for the basically finished Boos gallery. I’ll have a lot of prims left over for experiments on the ground and in the sky. I’m still right next to the clearly magical Rubi Woods.
Nautilus City is longer term. Minoa is shorter term. With that in mind I still plan to explore the former and log my findings into this here blog. That’s my decision for now. I won’t renew my NC plot. I’ll move the Boos gallery currently on that plot to Minoa. Thanks for listening.
The Town That Would Not Die
Minoa’s Collagesity is being reborn.
The Boos Gallery is definitely coming to town (!). The insertion is changing things around it.
Below is a brand new street with cannon pointed at a line of Rubi Woods eucalyptus trees in the distance. I’m tempted to call this Line Street. Cannon Street? Presently it’s really the only official throughway in Collagesity. 6 structures surround it, 3 to a side.
Looking south from the cannon.
Castle of the 7th Spire remains. There are 2 castles, small and large, and both on the western side.
A number of additional residences have been placed within the city.
Town Hall has been moved from Collagesity Heights down to [Cannon Street]. Mr. Bean still assists in the bumbling way he can.
Temple of TILE seen through the Castle of the 7th Spire’s arch. Baker Bloch is almost inspired to paint.
The new Tower Central, in approx. middle of Collagesity. My plan is for it to be a portal into the village. It also acts as a gateway between Collagesity East and Collagesity West. It’s good for the town to have a healthy rivalry between its two sides. Will help generate new stories.
And Collagesity Heights directly above this center is still around, but much reduced. Ground rules now. Tower Central (left) allows access. Church of the Red Door (right) is still there. Nice picnic area.
It will be cool to have Collagesity for the winter months. 🙂
TILE Temple
Carr.:
I suppose I am pleased. My other location is shut down. Violet-ed.
bb:
Yes. I think you’ll like it here. You can design it as you wish.
Carr.:
Floydada must be worked on. Worked on must be Floydada.
bb:
What of Floydodo?
Carr. (booming from above?):
Shut your beak human scum.
bb:
Oooh.

The book we will not speak of again…

Former Carrcassonnee “violet-ed”. Probably will be de-eyed.

A town meeting should be called soon.

“It is good to converse with me as the town re-developes. Ask your questions one at a time. I’ll try.”
bb:
Thank you Carrcassonnee. The Boos Gallery should be moved to Collagesity…
Carr.:
My Collagesity…
bb:
… Yes… by this weekend. Then I’ll go from there. A town meeting is in order. Don’t you think?
Carr.:
Gather together the people of my village to worship me and take offerings. Christmastime is coming in your world and my own. People take offerings.
bb:
Presents, yes.
Carr.:
You are asking about the bee [in your mind]. I am not a replacement. I am winner. I am village. Bee will manifest *here*. (pause)
bb:
Cool. Will Hucka Doobie, when he comes here, also talk to you? I know he’s done this in the past. LINK
Carr.:
I am further away from the Rubi Woods than I think. (pause) Village idiots. (pause) (pause) Feel. Feel.. think. What say you Spider? [Carr. turns to Spider, who doesn’t answer.]
bb:
I wonder if this Spider knows Booger Hayes too, Carrcassonnee.
Carr.:
[Bee] Hayes. That’s the guy. Bee.

The TILE Temple and its odd shadings was spooking me out a bit so I decided to walk around the village again in search of a permanent house. I wanted a place where I could write down my thoughts, perhaps at my familiar old computer desk. I pondered the old Norum Gallery. But first I had to leave here.
It was cold in the temple. Collagesity West was a warmer place. So I headed there.
Things appeared in the air, then floated away to the east.
Westward ho. And quickly!
Just minutes earlier, I had inserted a new house on the western edge of Collagesity, next to the town hall. Could this be Baker Bloch’s new home?
But really it could only be the Small Castle. Don’t you think?
And at the extreme opposite corner of Collagesity from Carrcassonnee. Yes, this is it.
I ended up revisiting the TILE Temple. Not so scary now… I was overreacting. Lisa The Vegetarian is there in spirit. Can’t be too bad. So I sat down and talked with Carr. some more.
Carr.:
Not so bad, no? It’s the shadows to the south. Floydodo and such [shit].
bb:
Why don’t you like Floydodo, Carrcassonnee? If I may ask.
Carr.:
You may not (voice booming again at the end).
bb:
Yes, I think its the south, which is outside Collagesity, outside the property. It has to be vacant. It has to be haunted. Floydodo, eh?
Carr.:
South is bad. North is cool. Good cool. Lisa The Vegetarian. Co-winner of the Collagesity deity contest. No contest [however]. You found the home in the castle.
bb:
Maybe.
Carr.:
I am you and you am I. You desire to move here… incarnate here. You are Jesus but also Wappo Jack. Look at poor Wappo. Roasting like a pig! (booming laugh here). But its a lemony burn, which won’t hurt. It’s the south part to fear. Apple, orange then that lemon-lime. Lime-lemon. You can talk to Lisa The Vegetarian as well if you wish. But, no, you should talk to me. She is only spirit here. (pause) Hucka The Bee is ringing me up in my ear. Unusual. Says you should talk to him on the 25th. Okay?
bb:
Okay, I guess.
Carr.:
Remember to do it. What else do you wish to know?*
—–
It was this place that contained all knowledge of left and right. The left is okay. The middle is okay. It’s just the right that is cold. That’s because it’s not really Collagesity. Collagesity is warm. My own collages are warm. Living. The insertion of the Boos gallery will help with warmth. Outside is cold, in the cruel world. Not cruel, just cold. Unfeeling. Unknown.
But the forest is warm. 🙂
—–
* bb:
The forest is warm, yeah?
Carr.:
The forest is me. Collagesity. Remember the busker song. The busker is me. Collagesity.
bb:
So it heats up all of Collagesity. It imparts its warmth.
Carr.:
The forest is of course alive. You’ve known that for quite a while. This is your first mainland, this is your last. Enjoy!
Collagesity Revision Coming Along…
There’s even some tourists in town now. They pose with Old Tree and the Perch Cardinal, the source of All Directions.
Say cheese!
South north east west. No direction is the best.
West south north east. Neither is one quite the least.
East west south north. No one first and no one fourth.
North east west south. All are equal from my mouth.
Collagesity 12/14/15
I’ve moved Tower Central slightly to the north to make room for…
… The Grove.
Grave of the Unregistered Voter on the edge of The Grove.
Awaiting a speaker. Lord Mayor, Lord Mayor!
The Bakers assemble.
Also I’ve decided to reinsert the World of Collages building in the northwest corner of the village. This replaces the Small Castle and a residential house. Shame, but there’s only so much room here. I haven’t finished the interior.
And I don’t think I’ve said that the Toxic Art Gallery with its 80 of the 100 “Art 10×10” collages has also returned. And that’s Baker Bloch’s House Orange below it, which appears to be his new home.
And then, moving across the stream, Collagesity’s Boos Gallery is essentially done (!)
I’ll create a new map of the town asap. I’m about at my limit with the prims.
Almost forgot to mention the library.
And I believe the former House of Truth might become the town museum.
Collagesity 12/15/15
The “World of Collage” gallery is now finished in its initial stage.
Added vegetation all around the town’s circular and partially buried rr. Only 1 prim. Thanks Aley!
Then I’m experimenting around with changing out the Town Hall with the old Collagesity Diner, which would double as a museum. At the same time I started filling in the bottom of Castle Jack with mainly flat figures…
… but I’m thinking now that the *castle* may instead be the town museum, and so the town hall might reappear. And I believe I have a sign. I think it’s a go.
I’ll finish up the Boos Interpretation posts in about a week. I should have time to create one or two of those tomorrow.
3:00AM:
Diner may be able to stay — moved Baker’s house west about 2 meters so the two wouldn’t interpenetrate each other. We’ll see.
