New Pietmond Developments 01

“It’s about sinkholes, baker b.”

Snapshot7231_006

bb:

And 12 story, central buildings.

Snapshot7231_008

Hucka D.:

And mustard.

bb:

Catching up?

Hucka D.:

Frank and Herman Einstein. Frank and Herman.

bb:

New Pietmond has detracted from study of the parks. The central [12 story] theme of this here blog.

Hucka D.:

Here. Then there.

bb:

Does the 12 story building have a name?

Hucka D.:

The Building of 12 Stories.

bb:

4×3.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

Snapshot7231_010

Snapshot7231_011

Snapshot7231_014

bb:

At 60 meters, it’s the 3rd highest building in New Pietmond, Hucka D., after the Tower of A. Mann — 100 meters — and Big Boy[ Tower] at about 80 meters. 10-8-6, or 5-4-3. Pythagoras triangle.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Rhythm. Counterpoint. Balance. Style. Grace. Luxery. Distinction. Difference. Similarity. Still.

bb:

(after a pause) Got it, Hucka D.: The Kidd Building. (!)*

Hucka D.:

(!)

bb:

So Kidd, 3, then Big Boy, 4, then an actual Man(n), 5. 3-4-5 is the progression of child to man.

Hucka D.:

You didn’t have that in Otaki Gorge, Sunklands.

bb:

No, not really. Well… the TILE Tower…

Hucka D. (interrupting):

Odd entrance.

Snapshot7231_017

bb:

May not stay the same[ in the future], Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

What’s in the building? In the future? Collages?

bb:

Frank and Herman… Einstein?

Hucka D.:

Maps, then. Work on it slowly. Savor.

bb:

Thanks, Hucka D. Of the 3[ Tower of A. Mann, Big Boy, Kidd Building], only The Kidd has any internal compartments. It is more central. Tower of A. Mann and Big Boy look to it for their own substance. That your line?

Hucka D.:

No. Not any more.

Snapshot7231_022

bb:

Hold on, Hucka D.

Snapshot7231_024

bb:

I’ll work on it.

Hucka D.:

Count your galleries.

bb:

Let’s see, in New Pietmond now are the Stairs Gallery featuring Kollage Kid art, housed in 2 separate structures or the Stairs Building and the Stairs Gallery Annex, connected by a bridge.

Hucka D.:

One. Now a balance on the opposite side of the town.

bb:

I guess you mean the Toxic Art Gallery.

Snapshot7231_025

Snapshot7231_026
Eternally bickering Newton and Jasper.

Hucka D.:

That’s your gallery. With your collages.

bb:

Yes, and then Slipper with some Mike Casey art. That’s next to the Stairs Building. Here.

Snapshot7231_029

Hucka D.:

Do you have a name for the waterfall? Or falls?

bb:

I guess just The Falls, Hucka D. Then — continuing — Cherry and/or Berry featuring Rougeau art, another Pietmond staple…

Snapshot7231_030

bb:

Let’s see… the Sink Lair has returned. Quite exciting. And then SoSo in the center of things as well. But now since I have the Toxic Art Gallery with the Oblong series within along with 3 other floors of the Art 10×10, SoSo will have to be retooled.

Hucka D.:

What[ will be within]?

Snapshot7231_031

bb:

New Pietmond map?… starting point for art gallery tours?

Hucka D.:

You have 2 unresolved smudges [unfocused areas] in the center of town: Kidd Building and SoSo, and caddycorner to each other.

bb (distracted):

I really like that grassy little park in front of the Big E, Hucka D. Different from anything I’ve done previously.

Snapshot7231_033

Hucak D.:

New Pietmond is the best you’ve done in Second Life so far. Your Second Lyfe. So that’s another center. And the Hole in the Wall is another center…

Snapshot7231_034

… and the Stairs Gallery and Gallery Annex…

Snapshot7231_035

bb:

Weird shot there, Hucka D. Juxtaposes the bridge between the 2 parts of the Stairs Gallery with the railroad above them and then the asteroid above that. With the train crossing over all that at the same time (!).

Hucka D.:

Total eclipse. You better end.

bb:

Thanks!

No: New Pietmond!

But not in Jeogeot any longer. I’ve abandoned all land there and moved to the Heterocera continent. I’ve given up on pushing the boundaries of *new* Jeogeot mythology, but will still refine the old. Heterocera represents my first mainland continent where I bought land, way back in August 2008. Now I have returned. Second Life is beginning to eat its own tail. I must follow and grok as best as possible.

Hucka Doobie Real Life Sighting 02

(continued from Hucka Doobie Real Life Sighting)

I became curious tonight of the relationship between the bee/beehive crop circle of 2004 and nearby *Honey*street, whose legendary pub The Barge is widely acknowledged as the buzzing hub of crop circle phenomena.

honeystreet06

Tracing a line starting from the grassy eye of the Alton Barnes White Horse (already highlighted in this amazing lineup of white horse eyes found by me in 2010) through the main axis of the bee/beehive crop circle seems to bring us to roughly the center of the Honeystreet village, not pointing to The Barge itself per se (the last building to the left in the below picture), but instead seeming to align with a wispy line on the GoogleEarth map spanning the Kenneth and Avon Canal, as seen below.

honeystreet08

I don’t think the line represents a footbridge across the canal. Will have to study more. The point here, I think, is that the highway I recently spotted a bee with extended wings on, which I believe is Hucka Doobie once more or the equivalent thereof, goes through Honeystreet, and it indeed was The Barge where I started my “journey” up 45 (highway #) to reach this Hucka Doobie. Bees are of course attracted to honey.

3 Crop Circles at Honeystreet 26th June 4th July 2011
3 Crop Circles at Honeystreet : 26th June & 2 on the 4th of July

The entire hamlet of Honeystreet is pictured on the upper left here (reversed from the photo before this). All three circles from the summer of 2011 are very close to The Barge indeed.

Michael Glickman’s very interesting post about the largest of these 3 Honeystreet circles, which he calls The Lobsters:

http://www.michaelglickmanoncropcircles.com/blog/the-lobsters-of-honey-street/

It seems to speak about the confusion between hoaxed and legitimate crop circles. The Lobsters represents a controversial formation in this way.

And then there’s this newer post from Glickman’s blog describing what he believes is a related crop circle appearing at almost the same time as The Lobsters… another rare multi-step formation.

http://www.michaelglickmanoncropcircles.com/blog/lifting-the-lid-on-milk-hill/

Just to note: “The Lobsters of Honey Street” is the first post of Michael’s new-ish blog, which I plan to pay close attention to in the coming year.

“So…

… now you know how Gene Fade got into movie making baker b. Congrats!”

bb:

Thanks for that Hucka D. So they started out as Christmas shorts, then progressed to movie parodies, and then when he tried to return to the shorts and spice them up a bit, it didn’t work out. Divorce.

Hucka D.:

Divorce. From Sybil… you got her name wrong. They could have been an Alfred and Alma[ Hitchcock] kind of team, writing and directing and producing movies together. Oh the movies were a hit, and most of the audience was Mmmmmmm’s themselves. Imagine the thrill of one of their own kind making it big on the big screen, or as big as they thought they ever would. Then along comes superstar Salad Bar Jack. You just tripped over him when you got up a moment ago. He’s front and center now.

bb:

So… what I’ve been doing[ with these Jibjab videos] is filling in the backstory for Gene Fade. He had to become second banana to Salad Bar Jack after this. The blue haired women were gone from his life… Sybil and the other one.

Hucka D.:

That’s just Sybil again in her youngers day. A beaut don’t you think?

bb:

Different for sure!

Hucka D.:

It didn’t help that most of the paying audience were Mmmmmm’s.

bb:

I’m going to pull up the link in the old blog, Hucka D., the one about Gene Fade wanting to start up his film production company once more. Except when writing it last spring I didn’t realize he was starting something up again instead of just starting it up period. That part was lost on me.

Hucka D.:

You know how far he could take his first company. Absorbed, then… waiting around for something bigger to step in and take over. Certainly the Salad Bar Jack movies were bigger. Big big. Fade couldn’t step outside the Christmas theme.

bb:

And we now have some new avatars to deal with (!) Let’s see, 4 Santa ornaments and 3 dolls for now. And the blue haired women, which I guess are avatars of some kind. Then the short with Baker Bloch and Baker Blinker was real cute, Hucka. So should there be a special category for Christmas toy avatars?

Hucka D.:

Yes! Gene Fade and Mossmen in general and also the Mmmmmm’s escaped that stereotyping path, although that was their origin as well. But Fade, to his great credit, took the first step beyond. Then Salad Bar Jack, a true genius as well and a huckster deluxe, took it much further.

bb:

I heard a rumor that one of the Salad Bar Jack movies ends in the Records Center, Hucka D. A room full of endless records.
