SPSC Thoughts
Updates on collages. My latest thoughts on the latest batch of collages I’ve been producing in the last week are that they are a more minor collection, a satellite complement to Falmouth at best, and, virtually angling, “merely” a way to decorate the main building of Sam Parr State College (administration bldg./library/gallery). No really in-depth look at the collages is needed, minus the interpretation of the most complex one perhaps, samparr01 — “2130!” I might call it. Here’s that one in case you don’t know what I’m talking about, loyal reader or readers.
Here’s 2 possibilities for the base of more Sam Parr collages:
… esp. this one, perhaps…
To remind again, this “2130 Gallery” (slightly later changed to “2130? Gallery” and then just “? Gallery” to end), was essentially replaced in its function by the Sam Parr building, which gained a title just as this structure was derezzed from the college. And also to remind, the former 2130 Gallery structure is a duplicate of one in Collagesity proper, housing the Kollage Kid exhibit starting in early July sometime. Stairs Gallery is the name in that case. Should the Stairs Gallery simply be moved to the college?

Looking back through recent blog posts, I was reminded that this particular post, dated August 4th, mentions racial tension in combination with actor Redd Fox 5 days *before* the Ferguson shooting. Redd Foxx in his most famous role as Fred Sanford of “Sanford and Son”, originally hails from St. Louis. Redfox, Kentucky on the portrayed map lies on a Blackey topographic map, and also several miles west of the old Whitesburg Municipal Airport. The bigoted, cantankerous Sanford character regularly calls Caucasian people “honkys” or “whiteys”, always getting a laugh from the audience as a result.

“The enrollment of Sam Parr State Park College is currently 6 or 7, depending on whether the original African American student decides to join us this year. And I, of course, am part Moss myself. But don’t call me Mossy, please.”
“We won’t Karoz,” Story Room promises in unison, once more. They always speak in total or near total synchronicity. Strange.
“Start calling him President Blogger in front of the students,” Patty Pepper Mint urges.
“We’re not Caucasian either,” Story Room speaks. “Actually,” suggests the yeller feller Chuck separate from the rest this time, “we don’t really know what color of skin we have underneath these outfits.” “Outfits?” exclaim the other 2. They are in unison still; Chuck is out-of-sync.
