Return to the WIS Map…

wismap01

wisdetail02

“WIS came from a different dimension and entered Tinsity and Green Oz through Red 7. This is the same as the Wizard Head of Oz. The Wizard Head assigned Tin S. Man to Tinsity, thus changing its name from original [Gold]. Lisa the V. created Health Lake and Wealthy Mtn. and then WIS all at once. WIS is short for WISE or WIZARD. The Wizard of Oz was certainly wise in at least a pretend humbug way. Was he a bug?

Backwards.

bb:

Hello Hucka D. Thank you for starting without me.

Hucka D.:

Oh baker, I wanted to see you just today. The Falmouths are mouthing off about a union between them and Second Life. Or Second Life and them in First Life. Sims. Do you have your pencil?

bb:

Suppose I do Hucka D. Have you taken your red and blue pills today? Not the little round, lime green ones, because those don’t work any longer. Remember?

Hucka D.:

Memory shot. Intuition stronger. I sense the air and the air is pure and good. Falmouth.

bb:

Okay, so the residents, or The Residents, want to unite… what?

Hucka D.:

Falmouth, or Old Baker’s Settlement as it was once called — OBS — with PTG Town or PTG. 1st and 2nd reality. They point to Lis 06. They remember where you left off in the re-examination of the Lis series. TILE emerges from the black hole that is The Devizes Crammer — TDC — and rolls like a marble — right, top, left, down — toward the sea or ocean which is the singing frog’s pond in front of Tilie Cabin, Falmouth. And they want to bring some more blog spirits in. Used the term “berift of spirits” to me. Called me in, because I do most of the interpreting of the collages, see. And there are two x-rays sources, if not 2 black holes per se. Never seen them in person, though.

bb:

We’re talking about the 2 possible locations of Old Baker Settlement on Falmouth I’m guessing. There are 2 springs involved, a smaller and a larger. The smaller of the two springs — well, both have a moss bank at their source. The larger of the 2 has basically no white rocks in the bank, even though it is the larger. The smaller has many embedded white rocks. This is what I’ve *been* calling Old Baker’s Settlement or Old Baker Settlement.

Hucka D.:

The Falmouthers — pronounced funnily like “fowl mouthers” — used “Fi” code word to communicate their desire to unite your PTG Town and their Old Baker Settlement. So it’s the smaller moss bank with the many white rocks they’re talking about. The one you have the bottles lying on the ground above. As you have guessed, this is where most if not all Frank and Herman Parks marbles come from. This was a marble factory or marble producer of some quantity and quality at one time. Have you guessed the time?

bb:

No, Hucka D. Can you tell me?

Hucka D.:

Maybe the same time as WIS came out of his black hole and settled in the Tinsity area, then known or shortly to be known as Gold. Pure, simple. Carrots.

—–

bb:

We know kind of who Tin S. Man is now. And Wallace3, his counterpart in the Tinsity Metro Area. Wallace3 is me. WIS is the Wizard Head which may be attached to the new Oz movie, Hucka D. Oz the Great and Powerful I believe it is called. 3-d movie. Tells the story of how the wizard got to Oz.

Hucka D.:

It is the same story. The WIS goes to Tinsity or what in the future will be Tinsity on Green Oz Creek. Establishes a center, a green center. Greenup and Yellow Down. Brownie.

bb:

Sounds like Eob.

Hucka D.:

Tin S. Man comes in. Pretends to himself he has no emotions, like a Spock. But then emotions revealed (!) He is frustrated by the Protectorate. He establishes Greenup and Yellow Down.

bb:

The Greenup and Yellow Down concept may come directly from Carrcass-1, Hucka D. In the desert, Don-who-is-Mouse pissed down mundane yellow at the same time as pissing up special green.

deserthumbug02b

deserthumbug03

Hucka D.:

And he is Ozmo. First Mouse. First Man-Mouse.

bb:

I think the best thing we can do is analyze 12 Oz Mouse. To help keep it alive in the minds. It is in the Falmouth collages, after all — Shark, Mouse, Man/Woman, corndog. 12 Oz Mouse comes from Space Ghost through Aqua Teen, and SG is in Falmouth as well. He has chichen legs there, so he’s *going* to England now and crossing the Big Pond. He doesn’t have chicken legs per se, then.

Hucka D.:

Not in person.

bb:

Yes.

Hucka D.:

I mean… never mind. So what’s your proposal? Because the dual townspeople who are confusing the heck out of me with their muffled quips and banterings.

bb:

Maybe you should get them organized. Those from Falmouth Creek in real life, perhaps Old Baker Settlement, on this side. And those from PTG Town on the other side. Who do we have?

Hucka D.:

Weellll. Robots. Red and blue. Did you give them to me yet?

Snapshot6888_001
So I guess that tour of PTG Town is in order here, or at least a start. We begin in the central or pivotal Tower of A. Mann, where robots are welcome.

Snapshot6888_002
There are two main ways or rows in town, both leading to (or from) the entrance to the Power Tower Gallery on its north side. One is called Gallery Row, and leads past the Sink Lair and Quadtowers of TILE to the skyscraper with the Wheeler-Jasper collage series, the last of the Art 10×10 works. This is the end of the other row or way, instead *seemingly* dead-ending on one corner of the Tower of A. Mann, but more directly, the front of the still empty Coolie Building in town, which can be seen as a second center or alternate center of town. Both central buildings remain empty…

Snapshot6888_004
… along with the Norris Temple off the same row/way, which mysterious has been declared a robot-free zone by Mr. Bean, arms crossed in a defiant stance.

Snapshot6888_007
Robots are apparently allowed in the town’s watering hole, “Hole-in-the-Wall”. And for the lone robot in the establishment presently, that’s literally what it is: a place to get water. Meanwhile Baker Bloch eyes the delicious beer on the counter, wishing he had real taste buds.

Snapshot6888_010
Two more robots heading opposite ways on Gallery Row now, the red one to the Power Tower Gowlery and the blue one toward the Art 10×10 collages housed in two separate buildings on the parcel.

Snapshot6888_011
The blue robot, apparently the same robot, (?) gives directions to the larger of the 2 structures, with the 2009 produced Wheeler-Jasper series…

Snapshot6888_013
… and then a red one at the door to the same gives additional directions to the SoSo Gallery housing the Oblong series of the Art 10×10 from 2007.

Snapshot6888_003
Baker Bloch’s attention is drawn to a light coming from around the Coolie Building diagonal to SoSo.

He enters…

The first “WIS” map (but not the last?).

wismap01

“WIS”, pronounced like “wiz” (center center), is the 3rd, hidden element of the triangle whose 2 known points are Health [Lake] (right center) and Wealthy [Mtn.] (top center). We do not even know what kind of element WIS is presently. It is a black hole I believe Hucka D. wants to say here. WIS exists in the gap between Herman Park, seen as north in the above map, and Frank Park, south on the map. I am not unconvinced that Whitehead Crossing (SW of WIS) won’t be the main station for these parks in future times, as I move more out in the woods at retirement (8 years if all goes well; *I* will be the Whitehead in the Woods (!)). WIS is close to Whitehead Crossing but not the same. WIS is close to Wealthy Mtn. but not the same. Close to Health Lake but… not the same. It is in a gap in a map which does not logically make sense topographically but does psychologically. It is a hole that everything folds around, like flower petals.

All I can do is move from Frank/Herman Park focus to Frank/Herman Park focus. A new focus is Falmouth Creek (lower right corner of map). I’ve now determined that the original village on this creek was called Old Baker Settlement. I have a rough picture for now; it exists in the basic center of Falmouth Creek, about equidistant from both source and mouth. Old Baker Settlement, or what remains of it (ruins) is white-ish rocks in a moss bank below a clump of trees.

IMG_0120smaller

IMG_0121smaller

We’ll get to more of the story behind Old Baker Settlement (OBS) shortly. Hopefully I’ll be able to take more pictures of Falmouth this weekend, despite the continued cold weather, PHEH. On the bright side, I’m definitely going to England once more. I had a panic attack in the middle of the night, and started thinking negatively about the trip. Now I’ve turned around again. Analysis of Falmouth collages is helping. Falmouth is centering — in Avebury. Might Avebury have something to do with Old Baker Settlement?

Falmouth, Indiana which lies on the line between Rush County (west) and Fayette County (east) was originally called Old Baker Settlement. That’s obviously where I got the name. The synchronicity to this, ‘coz there’s always synchronicities when it comes to Frank and Herman Park names it seems, is that the ridge separating Falmouth and Second Life Pond (named later) acts as a peculiarly extended *block* between more public land around that pond and Falmouth Creek, essentially and effectively isolating the creek while allowing it to be quite proximate to tourist attractions in Frank Park, Second Life Pond basically. So I decided to name this ridge Block Ridge, then remembering Old Baker Settlement as an original name for a US Falmouth, decided to change this to Bloch Ridge, after my main Second Life avatar Baker Bloch. Second Life Pond, lying on the other side of this ridge from Falmouth Creek, is named immediately after this, then. Second Life Pond is the origin place for not only Baker Bloch but also Baker Blinker, who was my original, dominant Second Life avatar during my first half year or so of involvement in that virtual reality. When I moved to mainland SL from Azure Islands in Fall 2008, Bloch, the male, took over as the dominant one. The story of my avatars is found in the Where Are We On That art exhibit I still have up in my flickr site. Accompanying the first two stories about Baker Blinker and Baker Bloch in that exhibit is a 3rd story about Hucka Doobie, in case you’ve ever wondered about *his* origins (this is the same as Hucka D.), and then Esbum Michigan and Wilsonia Foxclaw, my final two avatars I was using at the time. After the exhibit was created, I made 2 more Second Life avatars: Karoz Blogger (formed right after the exhibit) and, about a year later, my last one called Bracket Jupiter.

Hucka D.:

I heard my name and woke up. Howdy baker b. Heard you talked to Headburro Antfarm for the first time in a long time.

bb:

Yes. I just asked him if there’s a virtual reality out there to rival Second Life yet, at least as far as making pictures and galleries go. He suggested Minecraft, but I’m not sure it is a rival yet to SL, or will be in the future. The best hope is to attach something directly to a web browser, with a first person viewpoint and simply getting rid of the avatar.

Hucka D.:

But that wouldn’t be any fun.

bb:

Maybe not for me, but it would make things easier for people to see your work.

Hucka D.:

Oh you can’t do that. You have to have Second Life. What about the Pietmonds??

bb:

Yeah. Not sure. But back to Falmouth, if you want to talk about them. Second Life Pond, a logical name for reasons I can’t go into here involving the *actual* name of the pond. Another virtual reality.

Hucka D.:

Maybe that should be your new virtual reality. Is it still around?

bb:

Check the link I just made with your last sentence.

Hucka D.:

I’ll check it later. It was just a rhetorical question anyway. Second Life began in that pond in Frank and Herman Parks. Bloch Ridge blocked Baker Blinker from proceeding over the hill to Falmouth. Only Baker Bloch exists in the attached collage series[ Falmouth 02 and Falmouth 04]. Falmouth 01 02 03 04 is Old Baker Settlement. So, yeah, it *is* the same as Avebury, if you will. Falmouth is Avebury.

bb:

There’s Lean Rock in the creek just below OBS.

IMG_0113smaller

There was the mysterious writing “Fi” in a rhododendron leaf at OBS as well.

IMG_0125smaller

Hucka D. (guessing):

Hifi. Or High Five.

bb:

This is a picture of a cascade on a creek just north of Falmouth, just over another ridge, or I gues it is an extension of the same ridge [Bloch Ridge]. This creek lies between Falmouth and Gnirps.

IMG_0138smaller

Hucka D.:

That’s a pretty cascade. A popular vacation spot for toy avatars, much like Gnirps nearby. They stay away from Second Life Pond and Second Life Creek, however, because of the humans. Humans and toy avatars as yet do not mix.

bb:

I can imagine. So there are toy avatars at Falmouth?

Hucka D.:

Oh yes. Mouse and Shark. Bart and Lisa. Baker Bloch and Baker Bloch. Red Lion man/woman and Man/Woman. Hand. Non-President R. Booger Hayes. Sunfish. Patrick Star and his friends. Lots of toy avatars.

bb:

So it’s the same as the characters in the Falmouth collage series. The 2 Baker Blochs which are actually different Baker Blochs, for example.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Non-President Booger Hayes wants to speak with us again soon. He has some ideas about Falmouth.

bb:

What of the other parts of Falmouth presently? — Visible I., Stream’s End, the unnamed spring which contains the mossy bank with *no* rocks, unlike OBS.

Hucka D.:

That’s a black hole. And the spring is a black hole. Rush.

bb:

How about X-Ray. Or Ray-dium, the follow-up?

non sequitur

Lisa the Vegetarian wants me to start studying Winesap. Lisa the Vegetarian wants me to understand that the basic design of Herman Park comes from Arkansas and The Way and Winesap. 56. The end of March 2013 may be a decision point.

“The governments know of my return”.

“Quetzalcoatl?” I asked. “No: Master. Master Shake. Of the Aquamarine Rebel Strike Force.” “Great,” I answered. “Sapphire’s precious Aquamarine grew into the rebellious Aqua Teen and psychologically became split from her.” “Baby Jesus and the lasers,” came his non sequitur answer. Should have known.

—–

Lisa started with Hand + Head at the center of the Arkansas Line. “Go there,” Marty said. “Unite Hand and Head so that I will be revealed.” So she did and came back and he said she did pretty good for a young’n. She took it kindly. “Go there again and insert Heart.” So she did. She came back. “You did okay,” Marty said to her. “You did kind of good.” She was not fazed. She stood her ground. “Now the most difficult part, young lady girl woman.” Marty seemed drunk but wasn’t. “Create Health *off the map*. No… create *Hustle* and then change it to Health by spinning it in the opposite direction. Which direction are your creations spinning now?” Lisa had to think. “Clockwise? Yeah, clockwise.” “We are in the northern hemisphere so that is good and correct,” Marty answered back. “Now you must make the southern hemisphere come to the northern hemisphere.” Lisa was confused. She tapped her finger to her chin in thought. She thought of her mother Marge and her aunts Selma and Patty back in Wiltshire, England. But she was now in Amereca, land of the freaks and home of the braves. Indian braves, that is, before White Man took it all. White Buffalo Men like Marty himself. But she didn’t say this aloud. “Do I really *have* to go to Amereca?” she asked Marty, who then looked at her reprovingly. She knew she had to. She looked down at the books strewn around her feet, around the rock she sat upon. She was still in Wiltshire but she was in Amereca.

—–

She picked up one. “Light in August” was its title. She picked up another, and another. “Those are no good,” Marty said to her. “They’re all protected. No, you have to use *this* one.” He handed her a somewhat smaller book, a red book. No title. Instructions for building an ATM sperm bank machine? Not quite. Let’s look at Tennessee, a new blog category under UmapS, then.

herbertdomain02

“How confusing, Hucka D. Herbert Do*main* overlapped with *Main* Street Winesap.”

“Expand out please.”

So I did.

herbertdomain03

Winesap *and* Old Winesap. I knew, well, Herbert Domain refers in part to Frank Herbert, the famous science fiction author of the Dune series. In the Dune movie directed by David Lynch, an especially powerful scene is where *Paul’s hand* is inserted into a Pain Box.

http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/content.asp?Bnum=39

From the folds of her gown, she lifted a green metal cube about fifteen centimeters on a side. She turned it and Paul saw that one side was open – black and oddly frightening. Paul slowly put his hand into the box. He first felt a sense of cold as the blackness closed around his hand, then slick metal against his fingers and a prickling as though his hand were asleep…

“What’s in the box?”

“Pain.” He felt increased tingling in his hand, pressed his lips tightly together. How could this be a test? he wondered. The tingling became an itch… The itch became the faintest burning… It mounted slowly: heat upon heat upon heat… . The burning! The burning! He thought he could feel skin curling black on that agonized hand, the flesh crisping and dropping away until only charred bones remained.

It stopped! As though a switch had been turned off, the pain stopped… “Take your hand from the box, young human, and look at it.” He fought down an aching shiver, stared at the lightless void where his hand seemed to remain of its own volition. Memory of pain inhibited every movement. Reason told him he would withdraw a blackened stump from that box. “Do it!” she snapped. He jerked his hand from the box, stared at it astonished. Not a mark. No sign of agony on the flesh. He held up the hand, turned it, flexed the fingers. “Pain by nerve induction,” she said. “Can’t go around maiming potential humans. There’re those who’d give a pretty for the secret of this box, though.”

dune_box

We also know from Carrcass+3 that this Pain Box is the same as an ATM sperm bank machine. Whose Line is It Anyway? Paul inserts his hand instead. “My what?” Colin asks in return, obviously surprised.

—–

“No you have to use *this* one,” Marty said in parallel time. Lisa took the book… not really Herbert Domain but Public Domain. Winesap is in public domain, which means she could make cash from it. Cash and credit and more cash and credit. She could rule the world… no, rule *Wealthy* Mountain and its Healthy Lake. “Use this to make Health in Arkansas,” he said. She needed cash, she needed to be *wealthy*. Then she could create the parallel domain in parallel time. I think.

—-

She brought her father Homer to Wealthy Mtn. through the use of virtual reality technology only she could afford to her knowledge. The Kniks knew of this and approved. This was at Quartz Brook. He was a Plastic Man, meaning he was a toy avatar. Plastic Man is bookended by Plastic People by Zapple. Through this, Lisa knew that she could not make Plastic Man because it implied or led to Plastic People. But she herself was Plastic. So this was the great sacrifice.

“Yes, 2d to 3d,” said Hucka D. He was on Mars.

But then it was the 3rd, Tin S. Man, also sponsored by The Kniks, that drew her interest next. Another A. Mann. This was at Tinsity, in the next valley over from Quartz Brook but still on her mountain: Wealthy Mountain. She was experimenting with different locations. But this was a failure as well, at least initially.

“All were successes,” Hucka D. perhaps corrected.

Superman was the last man and the 4th. This was Lion’s Roar. Lisa on Byng. She created The Way here, connecting Kansas and Kentucky, while just before this establishing Kansas and Kentucky themselves. Lisa knew that this 4th was the best and most perfect… the *most* successful. It is here that Paul’s legacy was secured.

Pauls’ Switch comes then. 5 to 6. 56. End of March 2013. 5 to 6.

The Residents – The Electrocutioner

The time for all the followers of doom is drawing near,
Deceiving no-one, knowing nothing but the bite of fear.

Smiling as I throw the switch
That takes away their breath,
I see life as an interruption
To the tune of death

She is the electrocutioner…!

Playing with my birds, I wonder how the world could be
A perfect place to sin about, for anyone but me.

I see the shimmer of the dewdrops as I drink my tea.
And when the foolishness is over, I am much more me.

I wish that all the suffering and all the misery
Could be consumed inside my room, where switches set you free.

*humming*

Where switches set you free, my friend, where switches set you free.

In the end…

… Tin S. Man believed that 2001 synched to Dark Side of the Moon, not The Wizard of Oz. But it’s really both in one.

My take:

2001-Echoes is not a purposeful synch. That is, “Echoes” was not created as a soundtrack to the end of the 2001: A Space Odyssey movie (separately titled “Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite”). I believe Stegocat’s Contact-Echoes proves this by itself. The Wizard of Oz + Dark Side of the Moon likewise is not purposeful. Many synchs prove this, including my modest Dark Side of the Yellow Submarine synch (an earlier synch itself, like Contact-Echoes). And in this spirit I do not think 2001 + Dark Side of the Moon was created on purpose. And frankly even if it was, I’m not going to spend my time listening to Dark Side of Moon while simultaneously watching the grindingly slow 2001. The faster paced Wizard of Oz is obviously a better match for the musical smorgasbord of DSotM. I’m not that big of a fan of 2001-Echoes for the same reason, and that only uses the last section of the film. I’m not saying that 2001: A Space Odyssey isn’t a great film. I think, as a whole, it works better by itself (as do the vast majority of movies). You’d have to chop it up, perhaps into little pieces, in order to successfully employ it for a synchronicity.

So what’s the end story for Tin S. Man in this blog? The mini-myth really starts to take off in the 10th post, or “So We Are At Tin…”, and continues into 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22. Posts 20-22 create a trilogy of sorts, and represent the end of the main part of Tin S. Man – Wallace3 interaction, with Wallace3 played by me. Another early trilogy of posts just after this (24, 25, 26) demonstrates a shift from Tin S. Man-Wallace3 interaction centered by Tinsity at Green Oz Creek to Byng Creek mythology on the west side of the same mountain (Wealthy Mtn.). The creation of Lion’s Roar after this definitely seals the deal, and totally isolates the Tin S. Man energy from the rest of Frank and Herman Parks, Einstein.

Now this sealing is being unsealed, with the understanding that the incorporated Tinsity has run its course and Tin S. Man is pulling out of his namesake town. The separation started with Lisa the Vegetarian, owner of sacred Wealthy Mtn. or at least the great majority of it, enacting the 3333 Protectorate around Tinsity, allowing Wallace3 to escape the negatively charged energy surrounding it. Tinsity becomes South, Gray, 2233, Baker Blinker Blog, old blog, Rebel, Korean and not English. Tinsity absorbs the energy of the Baker Blinker Blog and its 2233 posts. It becomes the past, but a window to the past as well through the Supersity Super Hoop. Supersity and its hoop provides an answer to Tinsity.

Lisa the Vegetarian has supposedly compared this sealing to the Union Blockade of the South during the Civil War during one of her speaking engagements in Lion’s Roar. I suppose the end of Tin S. Man’s involvement with Tinsity and Green Oz Creek is his Appomattox. Saying that 2001 is the intended video accompaniment to “Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd is like Lee signing the treaty with the North there in the courthouse. Lee, South, Lovely, Love Lee. Decker. (pause) Sunfish.

Heart O’ Herman Park

Since I’ve gotten around to writing the text for this post, the appellations for the lakes pictured below have changed. Head Lake in the map has “reverted” back to Heart Lake, and the actual Head Lake appears to instead be the larger body of water at the bottom of the map, here called Heart Lake. So the two names have been reversed in the meantime. Drink Lake, to the left, will probably be still known as this in future posts, although it is understood that behind-the-scenes planning had it at some point as Hand or Hands Lake. Instead, at some stage in the development, the “Hands” part was moved to the opposite side of the stream in effect, or made the *source* of the stream, hence Hand Spring, which begins with “hands” as well (upper center of map). The implications for this move are quite enormous for the Frank Herman Einstein blog.

And now Bass Ackwards Lake (map’s left) is now called or implied to be Health Lake, completing the 4H analogy. And all this is now directly assoc. with the state of Arkansas through its own, strong 4H resonance, including containing the only US Heath and Heart population centers. Health Lake also could be different from the other 3 named Herman Park lakes in that it might be spinning in an opposite direction from the others, whatever that means. One clue to this is the removal of “Wright” from old 3 leaf clover emblems of the 4H club when a 4th “H” is added, which might mean that the one *left*, the 4th (Health), is spinning in the opposite direction (or opposite of (W)right). But what is this spinning if so? Could it be the direction of time itself?

Was he?

So we decided to make a pact and go to The Gatekeeper for bee drinks every Thursday. Then Hucka D. remembered that was bowling night with his pals. “Tuesday, then”, I offered. “Okay,” he said, then remembered the “You Too Can Bea a Beetle” on the insect channel came on at 9 on Tuesday, so he had to beg off again. “When *are* you available?” He looked through his appointment book as I secretly wondered if he was the star of the Beetle show. I ask him. He laughed. I said I didn’t believe a show like that existed. He sneered. “You don’t believe a lot of things about me, what I say.” I said yes, and that’s for good reason. He got up off the couch we were sitting on, springs wore out — too much TV watching. We watched ourselves.

—–

“How powerful is this mountain?” “Powerful,” he replied. “You don’t know.” We were watching ourselves again. I had on an orange jumpsuit. Lisa showed up in back. “Ask her,” he said. “Hi Lisa.” I waved. She waved back. On the table in front of us were battle plans. I noticed the unnamed creek. I asked Lisa about it. “That’s [unpronouncable name]”. “What’s that again?” “[Unpronouncable name]”. “Hmm,” I said. “That’s going to have to be shorted.” She said she didn’t recommend Bob. Hucka D. laughed and agreed, saying I like to name everything Bob that I don’t understand well. So I decided to defy them and name the creek Bob. Then I laughed and said I was joking and that I would think of another name, perhaps not quickly but another name still it would be. Hucka D. said “Joe”. Lisa offered “Pete”. “Bing”, I said. “Short for something. Bing.”

—–

Hold on…
“Byng.”

Okay so…

… I wanted to ask Hucka D. about the new stream, the unnamed stream (James Henry? Henry James?) and the power point. Not the Wedge but the one across the road from that one, I explained when he showed up. He became very interested when I told him I had been there today and had bypassed simply hiking up the creek again and gone up the ridges to the west and approached the stream further up from that direction. “You can’t do that,” he said, and snickered, another hidden joke. His father would probably get it. I knew that I was scarily close to the edge of the Lost Valley today, and knew I would certainly be lost if I descended into it. Luckily I knew the stream and where I was. If not, I could have been truly lost. I would not be dead now, most likely, but trapped in the woods at night with temperatures in the 30s perhaps would not have been a good situation. I would have survived. Hucka D. snickered again as I told him all this — “Of course we’re not going to let that happen to you,” he said. I asked if Lisa was a part of that “we” he mentioned, and he said yes. I ask him did he have a specific reason for going back to his dad in Kentucky and he said just to visit, nothing more. Nothing at all. Of course he was not telling the full truth. Was he?

“I’m…

… not being totally honest with Tin S. Man, Hucka D.”

Hucka D.:
