Roach 01

Camdenton contains the same number of letters as Chameleon, and both start with a “c” and end with a “on”. Certainly this 8.1 acre piece of property is disguising itself within a listing 1000 miles away(!). But why? The most logical guess is that it reinforces the name Roach in the area, as in my former manager at the Maynard Jackson cafeteria. Impossible, you say? Let’s look at the place name Roach across our fair US of A…

Well do you, fair *reader*, remember that not one but several maps of this same Camden County are featured in a post of the old Baker Blinker blog? I just did. It’s also mentioned in the 2014 hybrid document “Map Sinking Feeling” — you can just do a search for “Camden” within the full text version to find it (connected there with a perhaps also imaginary Winona Falls).

I think we could be starting down one of those ~~bunny trails~~ rabbit holes again into hyperspace/time, turning the world upside-down as it were.

In looking up Roach Missouri on topo maps, quickly found a *Laugh*lin Cemetery to the east, and then almost directly across the lake (Lake of the Ozarks) from it, a *Ha Ha* Tonka State Park. Are the hyperspace/time “rabbits” having a hearty giggle with the disparate Roach locations?

Whitehead X-ing Notes 02

Study: WIS maps. Red Head may equal the central WIS?

Mall Meadows (famous for its 5 shot lattes) may have also been called Five Points (source: Washington County, FL).

An important concept is that the bees, like Hucka Doobie (or anthropomorphized bees) use to live at Whitehead Crossing before being basically forced to move to Greenhead to escape persecution. Uncle Zoe and Aunt Joe plugged up their main hole, the Mammoth Hole to them, like the entrance to Mammoth Cave. They found another (smaller) hole at Greenhead. Waxy greeted them as they were released to freedom. The bird beats the bug.

So the bees may have been the original inhabitants of Whitehead X-ing. Did their honey attract Pooh, then?

The Bees still met other Whitehead Crossing related species at Mall Meadows.

Direction Rock: one of the WH Xing wonders?

GNIRPS may have been started or maybe moved to WH Xing in the past. GNIRPS is a computer or computer program based upon US maps. Maps about *us*.

Map Rat may be in at least partial charge of GNIRPS (source: MO). If so, Rat (conj. Map) is connected to the mythical Giant Rat of Sumatra. Cousins: Elephant of Celebes (Max Ernst) and Rose Hobart (Joseph Cornell; location=Boreo).

Map Rat is assoc. with Gang of Willard (1 member).

In short, Map Rat is from Real Life Sunklands. Source of that equals MO again, specifically Shannon County.

This is still very important: There is a direct link (portal) between my Little Whitehead in WH X-ing and Little Whitehead Summit on Monhegan Island, ME. And it probably generates all the other Maine related synchs in area, including Norum(bega), Nautilus Island (reached exclusively through Whiteheads), Gray with its lone Southern soldier and also Blue Feather Gallery on Brown Street, and also the reversal of North and South in Oxford County (Mexico-Peru to Norway-Sweden-Denmark), and also Bull Rocks at Dixfield. Maine is much about Whitehead X-ing. Believe it!

White Rock, Whitehead Crossing, has power. Extends this into the White Rocks of TX, pointing out Petty/Pettiway (Petty + Ewa) and also the White Triangle of White Rock – Whitewright – White Rock. This is just beyond w. line of Fannin County, as the White Rock near Petty (and Petty, in turn near “High”) just beyond *east* line of Fannin.

We now also know that Petty is connected to Tom Petty, who is probably referring to being high in the song “Running Down a Dream” featured in Carrcass-10.

In Spring 2013 during another run of Whitehead X-ing related posts, I figured out that Seal Stone sits atop Grey Rock, making “Grey Seal” in toto, like the Elton John song. The spring beside it with no name quickly became No Title Spring (after the song before Grey Seal and after the title song of the album, GYBR: “This Song has no Title”).

The very shallow pool just discovered in Red Head may have been named Big Blue Pool in the past (source: Washington Co, FL again). Much deeper in past. It definitely has a story. You can’t easily get from Red Head to Whitehead X-ing from this direction, as reinforced to me just yesterday (!).

Zebra Station at or near the mouth of Concreek points to Head Trip, which may be coded within a computer there. Black and white, like a Zebra. Zebra, Missouri and nearby Damsel Island is the source, however. It lies on the edge of Korean Channel, which is a important *tile* within Head Trip, perhaps what it was all built around.

This is a way beyond Billfork. This is Head Trip. Solidifes Whitehead X-ing as *the* place to create an art happening in the future, perhaps a cabin even.

Green Turtle also “found” in Spring 2013, along with the Wilcoxson cemeter and the Totem (Land of Blue and Purple).

4 Sticks also known as ZoSo, perhaps degenerated to SoSo. Big Log also named Spring 2013.

Yellow Bricks hidden at Tinsitiy originally come from WH X-ing and it’s “Rocky Trail”?

Ashville Circle 01

“The Ashville Circle was where it was all heading, Hucka D.”

This is the head, Hucka D. The man, John Lynndon as we’ve come to call him, puts his hand in the middle of the sewer top to indicate the circle. This is point A on the map above, 0.32 miles from the Hart. The radius of the [Ashville Circle] in other words, is 0.32 miles. Cherry Avenue, the spinal diameter of the circle, also tilts from true north at about a 32 degree angle. Worth noting.

Hucka D. has gone back to bed. In concocting the circle yesterday, I was aided by the fact that several more intersections apart from those involving Cherry Avenue seem to be highlighted, including this one to the west. The intersection appears to be on the outer edge of a neighborhood we’ve dubbed Apricot-Bone. Not sure if that name will stick, however. The east-west road involved here is Banana Street again, famous for the Ingleboort and Flaarph invested house next to Linden Creek. That particular house lies more toward the E, or center, of the A’ville Circle, with Banana Street peeling off (sorry) from Cherry Avenue near there as well.

In visiting the intersection via Google Earth Street View, I was very surprised to find something more unusual going on. The conjunction of Banana Street and the side road we’ll call Cone was calm itself.

But one Street View camera shot down Cone manifests a figure sitting in the middle of the road, which turns out to be a teenager.

The girl appears to see or hear the Google Earth car approaching, and moves out of the way. We get a good look at her…

… and also glimpse the person sitting on the front stairs of a home across the road she is interacting with in some fashion. Wish Hucka D. was still around to possibly tell us more about the story. Ohl well.

So Hucka D. says the side street is named Bone, hence the latter part of the neighborhood appellation Apricot-Bone. Makes sense. Or maybe it’s Pineapple. Better keep that to myself. But then there’s this: Fred Cone from Pine Apple, Alabama, as talked about by comedian Jerry Clower on his 1974 Country Ham album.

… first highlighted here. The two sets of walkers are shoulder to shoulder at this intersection of Cherry and [insert: Apricot] when we enter the former in Street View from the south.

Also helping delineate the Asheville Circle is this intersection to the east, involving the oddly coined Hartichoke and a larger artery named Berry Avenue, running parallel to Cherry appropriately enough.

No, I’ve woken up Hucka D. again in my stupidity and he’s indicated that Hartichoke is actually named Salad. He says not to bother him now until February. So I suppose — have to be careful here — that Salad is named after Salad Bar Jack, the famous Mmmmmm actor. I hear Hucka D.’s little hard feet hitting the floor next to the bed so I suppose I’m wrong again. “What’s that Hucka D.?” I shout toward the bedroom as he roars his disaproval again. Then I hear the window shatter and he’s gone — flown away to a better resting place, I suppose. So with him gone I’m going to leave it that Salad Place was named after Salad Bar Jack.

But anyway… there’s an island present at the meeting of Salad and Berry. Not sure what it means yet, if anything. But it probably does.

Since the traffic island isn’t present in the below Street View snapshot from 2008 and is in the 2012 snapshot above, we can deduce it was created between 2008 and 2012, obviously.

This point marks the Hart or center of our circle, corresponding with the meeting of Salad and Cherry this time. This is no mere Thomas Benton we’re talking about here.

My uneducated guess is that this is Salad Bar Jack’s retirement home in Ashville, bought with hard earned film royalty money. His “place” as it were.

Could be wrong of course.

Developing 01

What’s not in new Collagesity (Minoa) that was in old or original Collagesity (Noru):

Noru Museum:
Lots of prims involved, and obviously not as apropos in Minoa as it was in Noru. May set up a Rubi Museum, however, like this same structure housed in, well, Rubi’s VWX Town this past winter. Rubi has a history too, just as substantial, probably, as my involvement with Noru.

Tired Falls:
Not a structure, but a missing element for sure. I hated to give up that waterfall. Can’t find a place on the new property for it. However, the focus on the new property is obviously the Rubi Forest itself. Which reminds me…

Toxic Art Gallery:
I’ve chose not to rez this admittedly prim saving gallery holding 80 of the 100 collages of the Art 10×10, still my most important collage work overall, I feel. Perhaps. But Falmouth and Power Tower and now the Sam Parr State College Admin Building hold newer and perhaps more pertinent collages and it seemed time to move on. Actually, this was derezzed in Noru before I decided to move.

X Spot Gallery (top, main part):
This was not filled out in Noru, but represented a really nifty way to bridge the Kidd Tower, Power Tower, and Falmouth galleries in a low skybox. Also will be missed. Could theoretically still hold the Jeogeot Through Art and Word exhibit. But that’s more connected to Noru as well since Noru is part of the Jeogeot continent.

So what’s in new Collagesity, conversely, that wasn’t in the old Noru version?

SoSo Gallery:
Containing the Oblong series of the Art 10×10, perhaps the most important series within it and most cohesive. 20 collages in the series (out of 100 total in the Art 10×10). Nice addition to the town beyond Noru.

Home o’ Fibs:
Another structure that wasn’t in Noru but is in Minoa. Nice view from the porch into the meat of the town.

House of Truth:
Was in Minoa until a couple of days ago. May return.

So 1 more way Camp Ruby pops up in a list of pop places (through variant names):

Mostly familiar counties there: Duplin, Dallas, Patrick.

Conclusion for now:

Minoa Collagesity still needs an identity. Sam Parr State College seems stronger within (they’ve claimed the SoSo Gallery, the Kidd Tower, the Bodega Supermarket, and the lower building of the X Spot Gallery (!)), so that’s a core to build from. Sam Parr St. College, I feel, is a virtual life complement to Woodrow Wilson College in Ashville. Both border protected forests. That’s a link that can be furthered as well, probably starting with Bracket Jupiter and his proposed Spring Semester course on the continent of Corsica. Cool idea. Required reading will be the Baker Blinker Blog’s posts on the subject, collected in one work.

Warren & his owls look out on a stump in Wilson (Wilson Stump). He knows this is where he comes from. He always remembers his origin because it is always within his sight. There is a big drop in front of him, separating carved entity from river. He lies at the end of a 15 (natural) step passage. People marche right by him all the time.

The Arches, MN

DME 6090 and two other SD40-2s drag an empty moonshine train up Stockton Hill through an area known as “The Arches.” Clearly you can see why it has that name. The future civil engineer in me loves finding cool bridges like this one while out railfanning.

When we saw this train sitting in Minnesota City waiting for a warrant, there was no doubt a chase was in order up Stockton Hill, something we’d never had the chance to do before. But since we’d never done it before, we also didn’t have a great idea of where all the good photo spots were – just that one could follow the tracks for the most part on adjacent road. So when we saw a nice girder bridge just to the east of this bridge we set up there and were quite pleased with the shot. Then we continued only a few thousand feet down the road and found this slick double stone arch bridge. The keystone on the left arch has a build date of 1882. This was a fun chase on a Sunday morning for two railfans from Central Wisconsin. Sometimes the best chases are those where you don’t really know the territory and end up stumbling onto the best of shots by accident.

Dead Center Hill (also see upper right corner of above photo): This is where it all went down. Warren also knew of the place; no lie this time. Warren again separated from Wilson and climbed this hill just to the south of the river, leaving a piece of kane (Old Kane) as a marker.

More strange stuff indeed…

That’s all the Smoky/ pp in the US, including variations. Lo and behold, the Lovely, KY we were just talking about pops up, and right next to the only legitimate Smoky in Calvert County, MD. The variant name for Lovely, and why it shows up in this list, is Smoky Bottom.

I’m not sure if this means anything but a pointer to Kate Swift of [Winesap], who is Lovely as described by Rev. Hartman (and Lovely *and* a Beauty in the next story) and also a smoker — smoky or smokey. We know this through Smoky Ordinary, VA linked to Ordinary, VA and Glass and Lady and Achilles. The Lady is Kate again, who, at the end of the reverend’s story, becomes one with the praying child of the window who has lost his (Achilles) heel. Story of Achilles, then, to refresh my memory. This is only US Achilles besides one in remoter part of Kansas (Rawlins County).

In Greek mythology, when Achilles was a baby, it was foretold that he would die young. Money may also be involved. Only 1 of 2 Moneys in US in Gloucester County, along with a historic Cash. The other is in Mississippi with possible attachments to Pink Floyd’s song Money, reinforced by Money Creek + Root River in Houston County, Minnesota, remembering that we’ve brought up this county before (archetypal 2, as in HHH). Floyd’s Gilmour croons that money is the root of all evil to-day in the song Money, a famous line of the Dark Side of the Moon album. Money is another achilles heel for a lot of people — worrying about it in various ways (not having enough, wanting more, etc.). Not the Winesap reverend’s problem necessarily, but add it to the list along with sexual temptation. At the top again, Minnesota is more about Nixon (through Hixon) and him being a crook and exposed after the ’68 election. Nixon tops native son Hubert H. Humphrey. We’ll travel down that path or Trail sometime soon as well, hopefully avoiding the Gully. 🙂

Another type of smoke (monster) we’ve been seeing on LOST a lot lately. We’re at the final episode… started in July!

This smoke monster began as an ordinary man, a Man in Black like Cash. A man without a name, not even Sue.

Revisiting “Marlin”

1904 Pettis County map (same year as the circus train wreck mentioned above with the gorilla escape). I’ve indicated that Beaman use to be called or has variable name Marlin.

Other non-Marlin based variable name besides Beaman in above is Laboratory. Here is a Falmouth collage dealing with just this combination of names: “Beemen” (or 2 Beeman), related to alchemical laboratory, that may or may not be same as meth lab, a la a Breaking Bad. If latter, 2 beemen here are Mr. White and Mr. Pinkman.

The lab is an alchemist’s lab, not technically a chemist’s lab. The red-blue death is beyond the rock, out more in the real world. Edward Stone shelters the two individuals, busy as men bees, from all that. Until the end[ of Season 3].

Now if we look at that picture (“Beemen”), we can see more the process. It deals with TILE. The blue lego piece at the top gives first clue that this is the top of the TILE Waterfall, and the tile/lego is about to drop down. Falls. The only reason we do not have a type of death at the bottom of the fall or falls is The Contraption. The Contraption must be a perpetual motion machine, and it is. It works backwards and forwards in time[ as stated]. It powers the fall of TILE. The lego pieces are like the marbles that fall. Pull up a picture of Newton 09 if you wish.

Then, as we already know from early in Collagesity’s history, we have a link between Falls County Texas and its central Marlin (largest pop place of that name?), and Tired Falls of my virtual village, along with the falls pouring out of the front of the town diner. Perch.

Fishing lure assoc. with Doctor Fork as creek or stream, perhaps. Doctor Fork may also then be assoc. with Dr. Who through Ursula. Of course Dr. Fork from audio is a link to North*fork* movie on the video side, akin to Bottom Feedlers (or Fiedlers) and Ursula’s mention of bottom feeders.

Speaking of which:P Diamonds Restaurant, also in Franklin County and known coast to coast according to ads. This is reference to Atlantic and Pacific, and Franklin County itself as microcosm of America herself. Proof?: Pacific town on east side of county, and Japan (Pacific on west for that country) on opposite side of county, just below aforementioned Tea, etc.

Pacific was laid out in 1852. It was so named because here the new railroad started for the Pacific Ocean.[7]

In 1903, a great fire arose in the middle of downtown and the entire city burned. The city has never fully recovered.

In Billf., we start out with Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Part 1 (Atlantic, probably) and end at SYD Part 2 (Pacific, most likely). In the middle of the synch we have Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, combining the 2 and probably representing Great Lakes as whole. These 2 Diamonds, separated (quote Floyd here syaing the 2 parts were originally together, but split on opposite sides of WYWH album with songs between them).

Tile 10 of Billf. comes at approx 1/3rd point in sync, and at end of part 1 of 3. At end of this tile, we have the cuing of Division Bell to whole part 2 of 3 (throwback tile), but with important inserts. We’ve mentioned Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds in the middle of this tile. “Kanes” (evacuation committee) attempt to guess the 2nd and final Floyd album to be used in the sync, theoretically. Walter (J. Woods) succeeds, and the actual album then starts (get exact cue point). This begins tile 11, then. Ursula, after Walter’s successful guess (chicken broth): “Cup or bowl?”
