What would I do…

… if I had a whole sim to play with?

I don’t think the urban area would be much bigger than present VWX Town. I’d have a burg surrounded by nature. Otaki Gorge and Pietmond would be a model… I think a town should exist in a sinkhole, and nature surrounds. I have traced enough around the Pietmond area to get a good idea of what a composite existence would look like there. All other virtual places and villages merely support the greater Pietmond idea, even present VWX Town (which also “serves” Frank and Herman Park and their Whitehead Crossing, etc.). Pietmond is it, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Called in because of a lack of time again. Understandable. Yes, Pietmond is your ultimate village. You’ve had not one, not two, but 3 legitimate incarnations now. You know that the Temple of TILE’s true location is the bottom of the sinkhole there.

bb:

I like the new VWX Town, but it’s not Pietmond.

Hucka D.:

You must locate a virtual Sunklands somewhere. Each person would have a sinkhole all to themselves, and then a bigger, shared sinkhole. This is Big Sink. You are reading the old Jeogeot blog again, heading toward Sunklands again.

bb:

The Table House never existed in Pietmond. Yet it must be there. VWX Town… can it generate its own energy?

Hucka D.:

Yes. This is beyond Pietmond, even though it can’t be. It’s just Sunklands has degenerated beyond the point of repair. You must re-create the whole thing now. You can.

bb:

Maybe I should just get over it. The woods around here have been wet, wet, wet. Really tough to get out and visit given that and other constraints. Last year at this time I was exploring Concreek. It’s starting to look like TGLS… The Great Lost Summer.

Hucka D.:

You went so far in developing the Whitehead Crossing mythos. Pushed the envelope. Good for you. I’m here to encourage. You had to take it into virtual reality again. Too many ghosts[ of probable realities] over in Rubi. You had to start anew… fresh. But on the other hand: Sinkology. Why did the Temple of TILE have to be built in the center of the sinkhole? Why are sinkholes converted to religious meccas… like Pietmond?

bb:

I wonder if Chilbo could have remained vital if it had followed me to Sunklands? Inhabited the Big Sink… moved?

Hucka D.:

It would have had to involve cooperation between Chilbo and the Lindens. You should read over their proposal again.

bb:

There was the story of the hole in the middle of Big Sink. Where I put my Home o’ Fibs, actually. It was like the Up house.

Hucka D.:

Should Chilbo have followed you to Sunklands? Should they have listened to the synchronities between their community and Crabwoo through your blog? Maebaelia and Jeogeot? Yes, in short. Or not. If yes, there was a bigger picture involved. You know Blue Feather is Quetzalcoatl, and responsible for designing some of the most important crop circles of Wiltshire and beyond. He communicated to you through Second Life. Chilbo is a Korean name, but the attractor is Chilbolton, England.

bb:

I wonder how unhappy Chilbolton is to be associated with that famous crop circle?

Hucka D.:

Pixilation. We better end.

bb:

Thank you.

“Alright…

… Cardboard Derek Jones. Have your way.”

CDJ:

Thank you. I’m here to talk about the architectural history of Westside.

(Voice from back of the small audience (yelling)):

There isn’t any. Get over it!

CDJ:

Ahem. Thank you *again*. Let’s start with the Wall of Eyes and attached Gallery Behind The Eyes. What’s there?

(Same voice):

Nothing!

CDJ:

Er, well, yes there is something there. There’s eyes, for one thing.

—–

bb:

And you get the gist of the rest, Hucka D. CDJ just couldn’t pull it off. Tough crowd. He went on to talk about the eyes were from Carcassonne, and the heckler yelled to him to give them back because they aren’t worth anything in Westside. Stuff like that. He couldn’t get to Gallery None, even — the name is an obvious setup (for jokes). There’s really nothing in Westside, and I’m afraid there never will be, what with the emphasis on Central front and center now… as it were.

Hucka D.:

As it is.

bb:

So what do I do? Just ask Westside to join Central and Southside now — eliminate the sectors altogether?

Hucka D.:

Maybe. Where would your town tension come from, then?

bb:

CDJ would cooperate with the Core of 4 to make VWX Town the best it can be. All centers on The Table in many ways. We know that Dr. Blood is Ray Davies from the future — handy information.

Hucka D.:

Yes. You must protect the Sunklands Initiative at any rate. Think of re-creating Sunklands in a different virtual setting. That’s your goal. Pietmond Forever!

bb:

Guess so Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

So if CDJ isn’t or can’t talk about Westside architectural history — since there really isn’t any — can we *finally* move to the Kidd Tower. Logical progression: it’s just inside the Westside territory and represents the first *real* building in VWX Town just heading from that sector, down that path.

bb:

Westside still has some promise. I don’t think it should be gotten rid of just yet. But obviously there’s nothing in it presently, really.

Hucka D.:

The most important thing is that Ray Davies is from there, or rehearses there, and probably lives in the garage in the sector. Ray’s on Cardboard Derek Jones’ side. But… to Kidd Tower! What do we have here? A thick slice of Jeogeot and Middletown history. Middletown is the largest city of Jeogeot past, present, future. It was huge, simply huge. You cannot imagine. You helped in the building. You built a sector *there*.

bb:

The Kidd Tower originally existed in Middletown. When did Middletown become Meddletown, or did it ever?

Hucka D.:

Obvious. When Dr. Blood entered the picture. Dr. Blood organized the Kidd Tower so that MaN was eliminated. The Kidd was just a kid.

bb:

Kidd Tower’s always been attached to Tower of A. Mann and Big Boy in past, present, future.

Hucka D.:

Good, yes.

bb:

Is VWX Town a slice of Middletown?

Hucka D.:

Yes!

bb:

The philosophy of Middletown — give this a stab tonight — Middletown itself started in the M and N. 3 sims of basically the same name — all starting with “Yeo”. Three clustered around the M and N level, the 13th and 14th of the vertical column of Jeogeot recognized by Middletown priests, scientists, artists.

Hucka D.:

Yes. (pause) Middletown.

bb:

Big E or Biggie was found on the shores of the Korean Channel — called the Korean Channel at first — and taken directly west to Middletown — this M and N centrality. From it was distilled the Kidd Tower. Was the X-Spot Gallery around then?

Hucka D.:

Yes! (pause) Or no.

—–

bb:

I just had Baker Bloch walk up the whole Kidd Tower, and he thinks, through me, that the intersection with the Simple Wunderlich pictures may be the most meaningful part. Here’s his blog:

http://simplewunderlich.wordpress.com/

And his big zoo is actually in a sim caddycorner to Philudoria [home of VWX Town], to the northwest. Interesting, eh?

Hucka D.:

Simple helped you with Middletown, plain and simple.

—–

bb:

Middletown was too simple of a name. Too Simple. So Yuja moved in and changed Middle to Meddle to add spice and interest. Complexity. 2001-Echoes was probably born here. The monolith of the movie comes from Big E (!)

Second Life Mainland — basically empty

Snapshot4444_001

If I do return, it will probably be to the Nautilus continent, which has more stuff per square meter simply because there’s so much coastline. Contrast this to the dry interior of Second Life’s two largest continents: Jeogeot and Maebaleia. Not much at all to see there now.

Above, Baker Bloch sits at a lonely bar on Gong, a small Linden pool in Jeogeot. Technically this is coastline as well, but not enough to act as an avatar magnet of any kind. I’ve rented and owned land around this lake a number of times, and created the virtual village of Teepot nearby in 2010 and 2011. Good times. Now this small bar is all that’s left for meters and meters around.

There’s a small chance I might rebuy the land I held in Sikkima this winter, but only a small one — rebuild New Pietmond in that sinkhole and all.

Hucka D.:

Nautilus, yes. Whitehead Crossing: good to go. Prepare!

Kidd’n Around

Snapshot100_004

“A man (or woman) offered me a spot on his land to move the Kidd Tower (at Middletown, Jeogeot), Hucka D. Interesting — probably is highlighting the Kidd Tower for me in a meaningful, synchy way.”

Hucka D.:

We would rather you have the Kidd Tower up and running at this time. Which means…

bb:

Buying mainland again?

Hucka D.:

Rubi looks nice.

bb:

Yes. Very tempting. But there’s also Aotearoa.

Snapshot100_001

Hucka D.:

Which would you choose?

bb:

Rubi, probably. Or I could just move up in tier and keep renting. (pause)

—–

bb:

I’m simply not going to make a decision right now. Maybe at the beginning of May. But that’s when I start focusing on crop circles.

Hucka D.:

See if the gentleman or gentlewoman allows you to move the Kidd Tower and go from there.

—–

I can expand a bit more on the Rubi mythology, last furthered considerably by Sikkima’s New Pietmond. The energy has returned to Rubi. And I still have a build there, one of the last that I possess outside my rental land. All others have been purged when the Lindens set all objects on abandoned land to five minute return (to owner). So I have nothing left in Otaki Gorge, nothing in Maeshill, nothing in Noru, and so on. There’s no vestiges left of Pietmond or Teepot. All I have is the traveling show known as New Pietmond, but in my rental land presently I’m not even calling it that — just PTG Town, which stands for Power Tower Gowlery’s Town. And that’s what it is: a supplement to the now central Power Tower Gallery holding the Gilatona-Lis collages. But if I return to Rubi, then New Pietmond will be reborn. Or is this VWX Town (Virtual Whitehead X-ing Town)? Sikkima is too expensive to buy back.

Woods are closing up again now. Must think of shift to virtual reality, perhaps, like I did with Lion’s Roar > New Pietmond last Fall. Perfect spot found, maybe. Hucka D. seems to be leaving me alone with this decision. (pause) Looks like rain until Tuesday…

Directions…

Gilatona-Lis interpretations may be over, which are divided into maybe 20 parts with about 7-10 supplemental pages. May read over the Wheeler-Jasper interpretation from 2009 to compare. Also need to read Beth’s England trip material and finish it this time (!). Maybe start that this weekend. I’m committed now (!!) — plane tickets bought; so excited. Collages are definitely over for now, but could even return before we head to England (?) Probably not until afterwards. I’m eager to work with Savernake Forest photos soon. And *of course* I’ll have *my own* photos to work with at that time, along with Edna’s obviously. The blog should be filled with my personal England photos come July. Must make the best use of my time there. The big thing is — do we want to stay there for extended periods of time later in our lives, say starting 8-10 years down the road? And my feeling right now, and Edna’s, is that we definitely do if we can swing it. Chances are I’ll be retired in 8 years, and Edna in 10. But certainly I’m also happy with hanging out in local Frank and Herman Parks until then, and I also see them as a lifetime work now. So the Frank and Herman Einstein! blog will definitely continue in one form or another until, well until The End and the curtain drops, where-ever that may be. I have my little PTG Town in Second Life now, and I think it’s better than New Pietmond in some ways. Obviously all revolves now around the Power Tower Gowlery and the finished Gilatona collages within. I’ll give a tour of the town soon; despite its relative smallness (about 10/17ths the size of New Pietmond, with much more limited terraforming) it still has some interesting things going on. I’m also thinking of renting a 1024-2048 parcel just to experiment around with new builds and stuff, since I’m rather limited prim-wise at PTG Town. Was hopping around Second Life before creating this blog post, looking around for possible land and just taking in scenery. Second Life is *definitely* not what it was when I first came there in early 2008. Hard to convey the excitement that once was to present visitors. I think that’s a big reason Pietmond never really took off the ground — the tide was already heading the other way. Visited Chilbo in the past few days and it’s really shrunk back to a core region after reaching its most expanded form about the time I lived in Noru (or Baker Bloch lived there) in Spring/Summer 2010. My talks with various residents at the time revealed vast plans that never came to fruition, including a partnership with Linden Labs concerning community development. A shame really, and SL still has a lot to offer. Just not being used now. I mentioned a month or two ago that I’ve basically switched over to GoogleEarth for virtual exploring needs, but that didn’t turn out to be quite correct, although I definitely want to return to that virtual reality and explore around Wiltshire before heading there for real in June. All’s I know is I’m happy with PTG Town and ratcheting down from New Pietmond (which, after all, contained a number of empty buildings at the end). Present projects there include a revamping of the Norris Temple first seen in late 2011 Pietmond (but not in New Pietmond), and also working some more on the Kidd Tower, a New Pietmond carryover. Should be fun.

But the big story now is that *it’s finally warming up* here in the mountains. The snow is melting but not gone yet, certainly a rarity in late March — well, it’s basically April now. But like I also said before, spring should be extended into summer this year, and as I’m not the biggest fan of summer I’m not complaining too much. But these long long winters are *rough*. Thank goodness there was mildness in its middle this year. But photos of the outdoors should start increasing again. And in that vein, I want to expand on the WIS Map recently generated that attempts to show the majority of outdoor sites I’m developing, like Norris Creek, Con Creek, Whitehead Crossing, and most recently, for example, Falmouth Creek, named after the collage series just completed. Mythology is certainly expanding still in that direction. That’s where my focus should be until early to mid May for sure. Then I need to really start gearing up for England. WOW.

New Pietmond Developments 05

But it wasn’t Meddletown originally but Middletown. But then the Big E or Big Schwa came to town. Big event! Studied and broken down, even. Meddle-2001 link discovered through caddycorner Yuja, which then became absorbed into Meddletown. Two towns formerly become one, Middletown and [unknown name]. Here we find Tin S. Man again, amazingly. He’s taken over from Stegocat.

Tin S. Man:

Hi again baker b. Merry Christmas. Sorry my real self cannot say that easily. I am logic without much emotion, as stated. I have trouble being a friend.

baker b.:

Thank you Tin S. Man. I will turn into Wallace3 now.

Wallace3:

Thank you again. Yes, this is where I find a friend. We work in parallel, but we have an overlap. We can trust each other, friend. Tennis Man.

Tin S. Man:

I can, but my real self cannot just yet. He wishes to be Spock to your Cpt. Kirk, true, especially given 2233 birth of latter. He can see that logically.

Wallace3:

Where are you exactly in Meddletown?

Tin S. Man:

I founded Meddletown. I combined Middletown with [Unknown Name]. I am MaN.

Wallace3:

Interesting.

Tin S. Man:

And there are other MaNs here. Powerman. Superman. Aquaman. Aqua Mann. A. Mann.

Wallace3:

*You* have the answer that I need to complete Kidd Tower. To mature it.

Tin S. Man:

Yes.

New Pietmond Developments 03

The Eternally Bickering Newton and Jasper statues have been deleted from New Pietmond, instead replaced by Otaki Gorge’s similar Goldie and Brash, lying considerably further apart but on the same line as Newton and Jasper before them.

Snapshot7245_001
Brash…

Snapshot7245_004
… then Goldie.

And along with Newton/Jasper, the whole Toxic Art Gallery to their side has gone away as well, instead replaced by the Temple of TILE (center structure of first picture above) last seen in Philo, and deleted from there almost 2 months ago by someone claiming the abandoned land it sat upon. Inside we have the old Pietmond labyrinth and also Carcassonne on the upper floor still, who could be considered the 5th and most central of the statues discussed in this post (Newton, Jasper, Brash, Goldie, Carcassonne).*

Snapshot7243_002

So to complete this line of thought, SoSo Gallery has been restored as the exhibitor of the Oblong series of my Art 10×10, giving a link within to the whole collection of 100 collages in the Edwardston Station Gallery at another location (I have several “spare” Edwardston Station Galleries in different areas of Second Life mainland now). This saved enough prims to allow me to rezz the Temple of TILE, and also retain spare primage for additional, future projects. Still exciting times in New Pietmond (!), despite the lack of visitors. And the development of the central Kidd Tower continues.

Floor 2 brings us to maps of Pleiablo (right) and Kalis (left). According to legend the Big E or Big Schwa was found just west of the Pleiabo sim (central picture in the above photo) c2007.

“Hucka D., according to legend, the Big E or Big Schwa was found just west of the Pleiablo sim. Do you remember that?”

“No. Continue.”

Snapshot7245_011

“There I am. I was there (!)”

“It was taken to Meddletown, baker b. And studied. And the Korean Channel formed at the same time. The two are one. They did a very similar thing that you’re presently doing in the Kidd Tower: divide the totem into two columns to contain the whole alphabet of A to Z. You have O-Z to the west — bottom to top — and A-L to the east — top to bottom. M and N are separate, for they are MaN, and there is no MaN in the Kidd Tower because it is still a Kidd. Big Boy[ Tower] acts as a bridge between the Kidd Tower and Tower of A. Mann. Tower of A. Mann is the true man of New Pietmond, a Newtown after all.”

“In 20 cases, Hucka D., kids were not allowed to become men and women. 26 dead altogether, including 6 adults and then 2 more: the shooter and his mother. 6 sim maps lie below the street level of New Pietmond.”

“There is a connection, baker b. But there’s more. It’s not just that this represents the Newtown slayings, the voiding. Study more.”

Snapshot7245_013
Kalis (Floor 2) and Jharmelion (Floor 3) are also in the same position on the Big E. In fact, Lordshore (Floor 1), Kalis, and Jharmelion form what appears to be a continuous landmass on the west side stacked maps up to this point. But Lordshore, in actuality, in reality, forms the lowest sim of the Big Schwa on the other side of the totem. This illusion might be substantial.

Which brings us to Ichelus again at the street level of New Pietmond, or Floor 4 of the Kidd Tower. Simple Wunderlich’s picture from this sim is straight ahead of Baker Bloch.

Personal note: Talk to Knock about new book called Raydium. “It was taken, but that’s what I wanted to call it, yeah.” “Thank, Ray… er Knock, for being here tonight.” “Briefly, though. That giant bee warned me to not keep you up too late.” “Haha, Knock,” I replied. He looked thinner tonight. Turning imaginary? “So can you tell us about the garage band, Knock?” Knock knocked down another beer. Furry Carl promptly served up another one. “Merry fucking Xmas have a beer,” came the usual rejoinder from him. In fact, it was always hovering over his head in white text. I wondered if F. Carl secretly moved about after we left him, you know, sort of just cleaning the bar a bit. I think he had to. And what of Knock himself? He said he lived in the top floor of the Hobo Squat, recently converted to the Stairs Gallery Annex as a whole. The top floor remains undeveloped for now, and that’s where Knock has chosen to stay. “Have you explored any of the local landscape?” I asked him, sipping on red wine myself imported from Smelly’s Bar just down the way. Knock didn’t answer, but I knew he hadn’t… just like I hadn’t since my return to Pietmond and Otaki Gorge over a month ago. “Is Sunklands dead?” I asked Knock. He was busy sipping his beer, staring into space, perhaps thinking about another rock opera, or one already composed. “You need to listen to me more, baker b. Sorry, Baker Bloch, hehe.” He turned to me, smiling broadly. Gappily.

—–

“This fusion with Z…” I attempted to continue. But Knock was gone, and only Furry Carl left. So I talked to him, which was basically talking to myself. But… well, no, I think Knock was actually there in a manner. F. Carl did not respond, or made the usual response… the only response. “Merry fucking Xmas have a beer.” And that seemed a good thing to do, if I sipped. “So Carl… can I call you Carl? Heck, silly question, I can call you anything I want.” “Merry fucking Xmas have a beer.” F. Carl stared back in his ever-belligerent way, fur hair springing out of his head. Not bald anymore! “Merry fucking Xmas have a beer.” “So Carl, let’s call you Karl with a K, so Karl, Z and Knock are fused in Pumpkintwisters.” “Merry fucking Xmas have a beer.” “Yeah, Karl, I have a beer, I just got one thank you.” “Merry fucking Xmas have a beer.” “Okay I just need to stop staring above your head. So Karl.” “Yeah?” “Haha! That was just me!” “No it wasn’t!” “Karl?” I stared at him. The text was still hovering but he was also speaking. I probably needed to call it a night. “Do you like your beer mofo?” And then the laugh, the Karl laugh. Like a rusty coffee grinder… something. Oh yeah, I remembered Karl might be an Ancient (!) He started to clean Knock’s empty beer mug left behind. He didn’t wash it, just rubbed it out a bit. “Karl, that’s quite unhygienic,” I said to him. Then the laugh again, like he could give a rat’s ass. Or couldn’t give a rat’s ass. I remembered a picture of a lazy rat was just outside, on the wall of Home Orange. “I’m up and out of bed, what more do you want?” was the statement I think he made on this wall. The rat and Karl… quite a neighborhood here! “Do you know the rat on the wall outside, Karl? After all, this is a Hole in the Wall, one of the franchise of bars.” He just laughed, longer this time, like a rusty coffee grinder stuck on grind. Er… “Holy Moly!” He then said after a pause. Then he repeated it. “Holy Moly!” But his expression really hadn’t changed from before; no surprise. “What are you surprised about?” I ask him. “Holy Moly!” I turned around and to the door. Knock walked in again. “I forgot my pocketbook with my Pietmond Plus credit card. Did you see it Karl? Did you *steal* it?” Then the laugh again from Karl. “Karl, don’t give me that evil laugh. Just hand it over.” And he did. And he laughed again. “Enjoying your talk with Karl, baker b.?” He grinned at me. “Suppose, Knock. It was… unexpected!” Knock didn’t laugh, just grinned. Karl laughed, however. They both stared at me. “He hasn’t told me about Z.” But Knock was gone.

Pietmond History (New Pietmond History?)

Thinking of writing the above (title of post). Background must be in Jeogeot explorations from May 2009 to October 2010, or the year and a half immediately before the official start of the Pietmond village (incorporation) in mid-October 2010. In this history, of course, we must also include Teepot, which we will attempt to prove is just another form of Pietmond on the “opposite” side of the Jeogeot continent. In this way, it is the only true sister city to Pietmond, a twin city really. Also include several fragment villages of Pietmond, including Lakeview and Crabwoo (after the demise of original Pietmond, which lasted the longest so far), and then also Norum Center, 7 Stones, Boris, and Carcass-1, none of which lasted more than about a month. Actually I believe Carcass-1 lasted 2 months, but with not much activity the second month. Likewise New Pietmond has entered its second month of existence, and I predict the building there will slow down as well — running out of prims, ya know. So this is a pretty big project, this New Pietmond history compilation.

Hucka D.:

bb:

Thanks, Hucka D. So we’ll start with pre-Pietmond Jeogeot, move to Sep-April 2010-2011 Pietmond, the main phase, and then August-Feb. or early March 2011-2012 Pietmond, which will include Teepot, with an explanation that Teepot is the same as Pietmond. Like original Pietmond splintered off into the 2 separate communities of Crabwoo (religious center) and Lakeview (art center), so 2nd stage Pietmond, which started off as Teepot this time ’round, gave its energy to 7 Stones and then Boris after its own demise. Boris can even be seen as another incarnation of Teepot. And actually 7 Stones kind of still exists, Hucka D., which I now call Philo. But it’s quite spread out in comparison. I could still re-create it, however.

Hucka D.:

Philo represents the dormant phase of Pietmond, and still might when you give up the land again. Is there anywhere else in Philo you can insert the 10×10? Check it out sometime, for New Pietmond will not exist into the spring. You have Frank and Herman Einstein to focus on now, the parks I mean. Time for some tracing.

bb:

The large ship that came to destroy 2nd phase Pietmond — did it come from Philo, even?

Hucka D.:

It came from Michael. It was called the Synching Ship. It divided and conquered Pietmond, a whole damn sink. The ship became the sink, for ill purposes. But now you have New Pietmond. And the X-Spot, a new ship of types, has landed and provided a nest for the town. It is also an expansion of the Pietmond South Gallery in 1st stage Pietmond. If you can buy the bottom of the sink again, go ahead and do it. Green light from me here. Not sure about the others.

bb:

It could be that I even return to Teepot, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Probably not[ though].

bb:

Nah.

Hucka D.:

You go.

bb:

And even Norum can be seen as a type of dormant Pietmond, or a Pietmond still latched onto mother Chilbo. For Chilbo is Pietmond’s mother, and Norum through Chilbo.

Hucka D.:

Sapphire. That is Sapphire. The Karoz Problem.

But May 2009 – August 2009 Noru wasn’t a town per se, but still just a collection of buildings sitting not in even Greater Chilbo in those days. And neither was August – Feb 2009/2010 Aoteroa, although that was supposedly the original site of Pietmond… hmmm, hafta think along those lines, then. And then the return to Noru after Baker Bloch’s trip to England started a 2nd phase Noru, but still not a town. Instead we have another superstructure as a focus: the Blue Feather Gallery, which is 4 structures in one, actually, and a direct cousin to the Big E Gallery of Aotearoa.

Hucka D.:

Next you must get rid of the X-Spot Gallery. Or else put something totally different there. Maybe MapS?

bb:

Is the X-Spot Gallery another ship, then, Hucka D.? After all, its basic module is a spacecraft.

Hucka D.:

Yes. It is a converted spaceship, like the Galactic Gallery before it.

It’s at this central watering hole, The Hole in the Wall, that conversations about the relevance of Pietmond in Your Second Lyfe came about. Knock. Knick Knack Knock. They talked of Lion’s Roar and New Pietmond and how the two are related.

“I had no corporeal existence in Lion’s Roar”, states Knock. “Thank you for building New Pietmond, which is the same as Lion’s Roar only better — for the winter anyway, as we’ve discussed. We sit at the Watering Hole[ for that is its name] and discuss more. We discuss Lion’s Roar and New Pietmond and Old Pietmond and Billfork and Pitchfork. Hermania. We discuss a lot of things, baker b.” “Yes, thank you for all that, Knock,” replies baker b. “But where is The Table in all this? Physically it is still back in Philo.” “Good you saw me in the future, in miniature, inside the 3333 Circle at Supersity. That’s called Future City to us. I am an Imaginary Man there, in this future town. You must pick and choose which path to take toward the middle, toward the end of the future. I am on those rocks before you get there, a lookout[ of sorts]. Where is the 4th and all that.” “Thanks once more, Knock,” replies baker b. again. “Carcass-8 is coming up sometime, but I’m not sure it will be called a Carcass at all any more.” “No,” says Knock back. “It will be called by its actual name, like Red 7 before it. Red 7 is the last carcass and also the first carcass beyond the concept of the carcasses. Next is Super 8.”

Can’t wait!

The Hole in the Wall franchise subsequently expands to Greater Philo, just in case.
