“Hi. In today’s post we’ll be taking a closer look at New York state, filling in the corners and gaps. Okay, let’s start friend!

“First up we have the village of Malone in the upper eastern part of the state which produced former vice president William Wheeler who served under Rutherford B. Hayes and succeeded Henry Wilson in that post. But not *this* post, ha. Okay, I’ll cool it with the inept humor. Wheeler Malone Wilson: the full name of the primary female of our blog succeeding, in her own way, Baker Blinker. She claims to hang out with Rutherford B. Hayes in some kind of time machine situation who she calls R. “Booger” Hayes and also says is the first president of the United States never to be its president. Moving on…

“… to Owls Head just beyond Malone, formerly known as Ringville.

“Oh look. Here comes Wheeler Wilson in the flesh to join us. We were just discussing your middle name.”

“Malone?” she asks while walking into the scene.

“Yes, as in reviewing the corners and gaps left in New York to end the current section also known as New York. Here, have a seat beside me.” She rezzed a chair next to the fern.

“Thank you.

“Well… did you mention the ‘fo fo fo’ chat of basketball legend Moses Malone, predicting a 4-4-4 sweep for his Philadelphia 76ers in the 1983 NBA playoffs and its 3 projected series? Off by one.”

“Making it a Baker’s dozen sweep, yes. No I haven’t mentioned Moses Malone. Do you want to talk about Malone town’s Chasm Falls next to Owls Head-formerly-Ringville or do you want me to?”

“444 doubled up, even,” she starts again without a beat. “Its cemetery a chasm itself, one that everyone eventually has to fall into. Those who wear the owls head rings when entering are doubly damned or at least doubly troubled.”

“Moving us to the next county over and its Coopers Corners just below Palmersville,” says cap wearing Carolin. “In the lower eastern part of the state we have Coopers Corners again, a location that actually masks the first in our country’s official geographic database. 2 Coopers.”

“That must have been the one just found you told me about,” says Wheeler.

“It is (!).”

“Cool.”

How could this video be 4:44 by accident?

Local psychic (some say) and kook (most say) Kactus/Donald/Freddie seems to hold the answer.

“Sweep,” he said as “Heathen” (demo) kept playing on the turntable with Ziggy style David Bowie looking on from a poster. And they did. Almost.

Off by one.

After posting the best record in the NBA, Moses Malone predicted on this day in 1983 that the Philadephia 76ers would sweep their way to the championship when he declared “Fo’ Fo’ Fo’” prior to the start of the playoffs.

Of course, the 76ers nearly delivered on his prediction. They posted a 12-1 record en route to defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals to win the championship. The lone loss occurred in the Eastern Conference finals when the Milwaukee Bucks defeated them in Game 5.

Tronesisia was thrilled that Mary had taken to Collagesity so quickly, but she had her own mission to deal with now. She and Baker Bloch dropped Mary off at Darkly Manor to a waiting Pitch and then proceeded straight into the heart of the village. House of Truth.

“Bendy was standing about here when he disappeared from my side and went into the stomach of the rocket ship. Stomach? Why did I say stomach? You know what I mean.”

“I do,” returns Baker Bloch, staring up at the tip of the rocket launcher as well. “I too stood beside someone who disappeared into the ship. Karoz Blogger. The mad scripting genius.” He checks his watch. “It’s early in the morning. We need to get you settled in somewhere. Baker Blinker and I have come up with just the place.”

“This is Baker Blinker’s home, but she’s decided to stay with Karoz at his Bodega market apartment until we can get you up to Muff-Bermingham. Karoz says he needs to triple check everything connected with the ship and launcher, and then triple check them all over again. He says 2 or 3 days will still do it. Grumbled something about a key calibration being off by one when he got here. He called it the Baby Monster, a tiny but huge step at the same time. Don’t get what it means, but apparently that was the opening he needed.”

“Interesting,” said Tronesisia. “We’ll talk about it further tomorrow. I don’t want to keep you any longer. But where are you living since we’re back?”

Baker didn’t know. He ended up sleeping inside a tree.
