Collage 02/03 tests
Amazingly quick diptych! Rough draft still, however…
Added, balancing Superman (extreme left):
Inverting the colours of this balancing Superman appears to turn him into Aquaman.
Megan Shirley Fairuza Dorothy doesn’t know *what* to think of all this.
Aquaman…
… w/ trident…

(start interpretation of Stonethrow Collage Series here…)
This is apparently a rough draft for the 1st collage of a new series that will probably be exhibited on the top floor of Collagesity’s Red Umbrella gallery. Coolie!

A new batch of toy avatars now make their home at Red Head, near its South Rock. I bought these at the Mythopolis flea market for 5 bucks total. I think it was a sweet deal. And now I have yet another batch bought from the same dealer since. Nice. But they might have to wait until the fall to join their brothers and sisters already stationed here.
Knotty tree on the hillside west of Whitehead Crossing proper.
South Rock region again. This is a classic Red Head shot.
South Rock region: circle formation on tree.

Brick in the stream here. There are a number of bricks in or around Green Stream as it flows through Red Head.
The Red Head Path again, this time leading to North Rock at the upper extent of the main body of cascades.
Very shallow Grand Pool once more.
And *this* is the projected site of a cabin (etc.) just beside South Rock. It represents the new heart of Red Head, appropriately near its geographic center as well. It won’t be this summer that I’ll start the project, and perhaps not even the following summer or two. But: soon (projected, once more).
What will the construction of a “cabin” mean to this region and the mythology of Frank and Herman Park as a whole? Hucka D. has indicated to me that the cabin already exists there in hypertime, and I can draw on its energy. Hmm.
Twinned carolina hemlocks of Whitehead Crossing, near the new teepee there.

Another prominent rock in or near Red Head, a bit south of Green Stream. Another no named rock as well.

Here we’re back in familiar blog terrritory in Whitehead Crossing proper, with its two dead hemlocks marking a southern entrance to the Straightaway.

4 Sticks region, sighting what might possibly be another Bee Line LINK formation…

… better highlighted here. More on that soon enough.

Orange Hill, former (present?) home to Falmouth or Dundee Castle, is eroding away. Won’t be around too many more summers. Should I even take steps to preserve it?

Vine circle marking upper end of that Bee Line type phenomenon I mentioned above.

Red Head cascades.

Red Head (main) path. Fairly complicated system here. I haven’t yet created a map. Will I this spring now that it’s probably sealed off from me until autumn?

Looking up Green Stream from the bottom of the main run of cascades. They’re low but still exciting.

Larger rock at bottom of cascades, with South Rock just beyond. This seems to be a mini-center of energy within Red Head. I believe now that a cabin (etc.) will be built just above here.

SID Notes 02
Dorothy:
Notice one is in Craighead County, near a lot of other synchy towns (including or perhaps centered by “Winesap”), and also including 2 Hermans mentioned just recently here:

No Dorothy in Winesap. In fact only 2 dor/ and both part of the word “odor”. Both found in a paragraph in “Drink”.

Explore idea of Doc Worley as Norris figure. Parallels George Norris, father of TVA, a part of the New *Deal* which provided electricity. Worley switches on lamp as he states it is a *new* century, a century of *electricity.*

Proximity of Gump, PA (only US Gump) to Waynesburg and Rogersville could imply *MASH*up (Wayne Rogers a star of MASH series), perhaps the SID’s 1st Oz mashup synchronicity. This is logical given other synchy thing about Greene County here, including personal family member’s names listed (father, sister, brother at least).
Oz’s Gump is itself a mashup:
Prior to the events of the [Return to Oz] film, he was just an ordinary Gump walking through the woods until he heard a loud noise (presumably from a gunshot) and died. His head was mounted in the tower attic in the Emerald City’s palace. Sometime later, when the magical Land of Oz was taken over by the Nome King and Mombi, who turned it to ruin. Eventually Dorothy Gale (accompanied by her chicken Billina) returned to Oz and met Tik-Tok the mechanical copper man. When Dorothy was taken captive by Mombi and locked in her tower, under her imprisonment she met Jack Pumpkinhead who helped the little party make an attempt to escape. Together they devised a plan to escape the Emerald City; this involved using Mombi’s Powder of Life to bring to life the old Gump head in the tower and attaching it to a sofa with palm leafs for wings to fly them out. Mombi became aware of their plot and tried to stop them, but despite some complications they finished and brought to life the flying Gump sofa and all escaped out the tower window. They flew across the night sky and the Gump began to tell the story of what happened to him and how surprised he was to find himself in such an odd situation, although he was still willing to aid the group in their escape. Later he remained a mounted head and was placed in Princess Ozma’s mirrored palace. (Return to Oz)
The Gump itself is green(e).
Gump probably also represents Forrest Gump, part of the huge 1Pink mashup also profusely coded into Pennsylvania locations, including a prominent one in Greene County, once more (again involving a family member’s name — more doubling or multiplying of roles).
