Thoughts

I probably need to give up Collagesity in Minoa in a couple of days, but can I manage it? I just talked to Carrcassonnee, who made a brief reappearance in the town’s temple. She said to remember her for who she is, and also that she would return. She recently had a baby — wonder what happened to it? But I suppose that might just be my keyboards (arriving Tuesday!). So what I need to do is save *all the town’s art*. I’m not going to worry about saving the altered Fal Mouth Moon structure. I’ll just re-create it as needed later on. My Sunklands site is up for renewal in August, and I want to make sure that will continue. I suppose.

Amazing new developments out in the *real* woods. Yesterday I found a whole new section of Whitehead Crossing which, quite peculiarly, seems to be blocked off from the main part. That’s why I hadn’t found it before. But Sunday was different. Now — perhaps even today — I have to figure out an easier way to get into it. I believe this to be the Mossman’s Red Head, mentioned here on this old map (top right)…

… but only hypothetically. Another name, then — looking at this map — could be Burnt Head, like on Monhegan Island along with its already employed Whitehead and Little Whitehead. I’m going to leave Blackhead alone, however.

New territory discovered not once but twice yesterday (Sunday). We start in Boulder — or more precisely on the edge between Boulder and Herman Park — where for the first time I poked around the mouth of TILE Creek as it empties into a fork of the Old River (ironically one of the newest rivers in not only the United States but the world). The mouth is found just off the short driveway down to the Boulder Water Treatment Plant from the main highway. Plant employees have apparently created steps down to the stream juncture; a kind of miniature park. Perhaps they go there to eat and relax at lunch and on breaks.

This is the small gorge that the Old River fork runs through just before encountering TILE Creek. Possibilities exist here for future toy happenings. I was happy to find it. Civilization lies all around this pocket of gorge-ous wilderness. 🙂

This hemlock towers over it — obvious ruler. This is yet another spot that could serve as a toy happening.

Then I decided to hike in neighboring Frank Park this same day and found another new and most likely more important discovery: a whole *’nother section of Whitehead Crossing*, effectively blocked off from the main part. That’s why I didn’t find it until yesterday. I will definitely be heading back to this area sometime during the next handful of days. For now I’ll say that Green Stream, Whitehead X-ing’s largest water flow, cascades through the western edge of the open area. This region has also been called Red Head in the past, and supposedly where Mossman settled in ancient times after finding the Korean Channel through the old Spoon Fork Portal System. But Red Head remained only conjecture until yesterday.

Interesting rocks at the top of one of the several Red Head cascades. I’ll most likely create a map of Red Head sometime this spring, when I gather more information. First off, I have to figure out an *easier way into it* (!).

This seems to represent a very important rock toward the northern limit of the cascade series. Additional info soon (once more).

And this is a shallow pool of water found nearby which I also hadn’t known about before. Most likely it will garner a name soon as well. But as hard as I tried, all paths heading toward the main part of Whitehead Crossing evaporated from this direction. I could *see* the main part through the trees and rhododendron — just couldn’t reach it.

Possibility I suppose. I would do it if I were a woman.

Doesn’t it look kind of nice and clean for a man?

Why in that place at this time?

Hucka D.:

Power point. They have successfully taken over Whitehead Crossing hook line and sinker. They have conquered. You cannot return now. Banished. Because you didn’t care enough about it, see. They’ll do more with it for now. Then you can return later. Use their spot. But stay away for now. Don’t go down there. Power. Point. We don’t know what kind of power they have.

Hiking Updates

Focus this year seems to be more on Herman Park and TILE Creek and Drink Lake. Also: Notherton a bit, over in Frank Park. Big news so far is the discovery of an earthen teepee smack in the middle of my precious Whitehead Crossing. I’ve been invaded! I do not know the culprit but the wife suspects Sustainable Development students from the local college. Maybe a paper or report is involved. Anyhoot, they’re there now, and I’m sure I’ll stop in every week or 3 to check on progress. The teepee is not yet finished, and will not protect from the rain. Does someone plan to actually live in it for a spell? Perhaps the *whole summer coming up*? But, like I said, it’s there now.

The other prime development is a re-attraction to Herman Park, specifically the Drink Lake environs. Newly explored regions include Straw Hole on the shores of Drink Lake, and also Ditchlandia below the lake’s dam. I desire to create another toy happening. Will the setting be Ditchlandia? A distinct possibility. I haven’t returned to Billfork yet this early spring but that’s probably in the cards soon as well. Perhaps this weekend… I wish Carrcassonnee was still around to talk to. Or Hucka D. Someone. But I guess there’s Artie J. Spongeberg now.

I’d also like to get back to Sharieland. Look at that Mysten Rock again. Toy happening there instead? And what about Middletown? Wasn’t the plan to have a toy happening at Dead Center Hill before the poison ivy returned? What about that? What about Mythopolis and the Spine Line?

Sunday’s Photos

I stumbled upon what I believe to be part of the “Spite Wall” this day, separating Herman Park from lands to the south. I’ll have to look up the story about this wall soon. I also lost my sunglasses there, but found them upon a return the next day. Lucky me!*

Jupiter Rock on Gene Fade’s Mountain, where he was born and grew up. Yes, Gene is a true, dyed in the blue Jupiton, and he never forgot his roots while at the same time going beyond them.

A shot of Jupiter Rock’s Red Spot, and the place Hucka D. states was the small “downtown” area just beyond.

We move back to Herman Park now and Ditchlandia. Only a few of my photos turned out to be blog-worthy of this place on this particular shooting spree, and here we have one of ’em: a pecked tree on the eastern lip of the ditch in question. I would assume this ditch to be an old road of some kind. But if so it’s now bisected by TILE Creek. Was the creek channeled here later on? A distinct possibility given that Drink Lake may have been created after the road.

Interesting drop of water on TILE Creek basically in line with the ditch/road laying on either side of it. Multi-colored earth here.

Saturday Photos 02

Top o’ Allen Knob. Shameful “graffiti.” And I recognized that pink-orange spray paint. The same marks the 4th Way into Whitehead Crossing. My theory is that someone is simply trying to take over and control the *whole of Allen Knob”, hook line and sinker, as they say. This would include Whitehead Crossing primarily, but also Norris Stream and the rest. I don’t think I like this. But it may reap rewards down the road. Needed friction or inertia at this spot in the road, you see.

And here we go. Someone is creating an earthen teepee smack dab in the center of my beloved Whitehead Crossing. Now again on the surface I don’t like this. But benefits could come with this unexpected new development later on. For one, it’s certainly not a bad looking structure. Very well done actually, what’s been finished. The top part needs some work still to make the structure livable. Does someone actually plan to stay here for a spell? Perhaps the whole summer? Hucka D. has warned me to stay away from the teepee presently. Let everything unfold naturally and not press matters. Do *not* try to become friends with the person or people in charge of this project. Do not be too Snoopy or Nosey.

And they found my 4 Sticks bottles! This *must* mean something. Probably another aspect of the control part. Witches and/or warlocks?

Back of the teepee, facing away from Mattland below. I forgot to mention that the stone just in front of the entrance, down the cliff, is called *Welcome Matt*. That comes way before the appearance of this teepee however, several years back now. The stone is one of the [insert number] Wonders of Whitehead Crossing. And now we have more to add to its story. Much more! (note: Artie J. Spongeberg has just recognized an image of this rock in several of the Falmouth collages during his recent tour of Fal Mouth Moon)

Propped up bottles still in 4 Sticks. Might they come back for more? I’m not sure if The Visitors have found Grey Seal yet, or uncovered its significance. Heck I haven’t done that either. But I know the teepee must be in that spot to effect the control. I knew that in the past as well. It’s been there in hyperspace-time all along. 4th Way.

Saturday Photos 01

This is a shot of downtown Notherton, a former Mossman hot bed of action and adventure. Now deserted, supposedly. Main Mossman (Mossmain?) Gene Fade has stated he use to work in its metropolitan area in a 5 sided mall managing a cappery.* I believe his store sold the equivalent of our baseball caps, or at least that was the most popular item. He mentioned a game like baseball, but with extra bases and some other different stuff. Have to look all that up from the Baker Blinker Blog again; the game of Whack-Bat from Fantastic Mr. Fox comes to mind. So much to comb through in these blogs now (!).

Notherton is in Frank Park across The Greenway from nearby Mocksity, another important Mossman community.

And this is the road leading to Gene Fade’s Mountain to the west, where he was born and raised before moving to Notherton. This is the very highway Gene Fade walked all the way from Jupiter Rock to downtown Notherton after a critical argument with his parents about the TILE religion. You see, Gene Fade desired to become a Tilist and his parents disapproved. He went back to Jupiter Rock, but it was never the same for him. He had opened the box to discover the rest of his life.

This probably has nothing to do with Gene Fade or Mossmen, but comes from the center of real life community Boulder, surprisingly enough. It looks like it was shot in the middle of nowhere. Boulder has created a new shortcut from its main highway into downtown, and this barren spot is one of the results. Congratulations Boulder and happy motoring to ya.

Another Boulder shot. You can see TILE Mountain in the background, also known as Yards Mountain to you non-Tilists out there.

A northern Boulder house with 4 birdhouses painted the colors of TILE: red, blue, green, yellow. Is this the home of a fellow Tilist, then? I believe they would probably have a good view of TILE Mountain from their back windows. Hmmm. Landscaping elements from this house are also found here.

A larger rock jutting from the rhododendron just across the road. Another TILE sacred spot? That was my thought at the time of the picture snapping. I couldn’t find a way to get to it, however, through the tangle of bushes. Perhaps I’ll attempt again soon.

* A note about the name Mossmain: Hucka D. has indicated to me this is a title bestowed to actor Gene Fade for work done on the Salad Bar Action-Adventure movies. It stands for what you would presume: he has become the *main* Mossman, the one most talked about and beloved. The Salad Bar Jack flicks are just that popular.

In the Falmouth collage “2989”, set in Whitehead Crossing, the conjoined green man and the gray man face in different directions very similar to the 49/61 signs to their right. Green=61, then, and Gray=49. Together in this way, they represent the sign itself, and thus 2989 itself.

I just found a red umbrella in one of my freebie Second Life purchases last night, and copied it to my inventory. Interesting to see if anything develops from that resonance.

Gray and Green Man, Pooh and his umbrella and honey pot, have reappeared in Embarras 04/05, the newest tetraptych and equaling my largest work. Examples of another tetraptych are found in both the Gilatona-Lis (last work) and Falmouth (middle work) series. Here it comes very early in a series, if this progresses onward as those other two from previous winters did.

Page about “lego philosohpy”, a concept I’d like to explore more. Legos are relatable to the Second Life prims that are used to construct objects in that particular world. Prim creation has been partially usurped by sculpties. Witness this picture and info that use to hang in Noru’s Collagesity Town Diner…
