Bentmore 01

Proposed new mythological zone of the Middletown area. Will hopefully check out more this weekend. May act as a new balance to Otanoa, replacing Alexfin developed in the early 90’s to the north (and also on the same “Bent” river). Map soon.

Bentmore center may be a type of Dead Center *Hole* (or Holl), to balance Dead Center Hill and perhaps a Dead Center Hall (center of Middletown Circle?). Must keep in mind that county to north of where these are located is a Magic Square of Mars situation, and, so, pointing to Jack County, Texas through the Wizard Cube. Middletown is the birthing place of Mythopolis and its created planet Mythos, also directly related to the Wizard Cube (green Wazob on 1 side and red Ur on the other). Like Ur, Alexfin built around dump, which is no more. Replaced by prison in effect — imprisoned. Center no longer present but maybe can be approximated still. Look back at 1990-1993 notes to find out more about Alexfin mythos which may now become obsolete or lose its center to Bentmore. Otanoa, in the meantime, has gained in strength since that will be the site of Future Home. Even the home will garner a name most likely. Gradually, gradually, it is filling out.

bentmore02

Also seeming to be defined in the Bentmore-Alexfin relationship is the dimensions of the county itself as framed by The River. There is no parallel big river for my present county with Blue Mountain. I don’t think this is the Bent River but am not totally sure of that. It is both the Bentmore River and the Alexfin River somehow.

bentmore04

Hucka D.:

Centre County is between Far North/Hi and Far South/Lo. There is no need to go further except to look for colonies. Even Blue Mountain and its Frank and Herman Park will serve this middle soon. Dead Center Hill is center or middle, yes. Middletown Circle is middle. Future Home is middle. All these are middle. Alexfin marks the location between middle and north — middle north. Bentmore marks the location of middle south. There will be more added to this. It is not Dead Center Hole (in Bentmore), then, but just a Bentmore Hole. And there is no Dead Center Hall except in Fun Fun Town, USA.

bb:

Brazil, then.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

Additional note: Forest Home (AL) directly related to Future Home? Saucer? Fake Herbert? Cardinal Roads’ beginnings and ends?

http://www.cleavebooks.co.uk/scol/calpyr.htm

Measurements in miles of Centre County Pyramid composed of Alexfin (center), Bentmore (center) and Future Home, then.

pyramid01

Length of pyramid base: 11.14. Length of each slant height: 8.68.

Notice the calculated 6.66 distance between Future Home apex and middle of pyramid base, which has also been identified with a particular home, current in that case and not past or future exclusively. I’ve visited the home in Google Earth Streetview not surprisingly, and found nothing to note as yet.

To complete, then, the length of both Alexfin-Hi and Bentmore-Lo is 5.57 miles. This is the pyramid fitted into Centre County.

… then moving to *Ashville*. This creek is possibly fairy laden. I will not give out the exact location yet. That’s a fairy bridge if so, and it probably is.

Across the road we come to perhaps the former home of George and Harriet and Ingleboort and Flaarph, 4 aliens from the planet Glooton who helped the creek fairies intergrate with the local human population, perhaps. G and H assumed human form, while I and F took the form of the fairies. Interesting. We’ll get back to them soon enough.

“We need to go back to Willard-Note, then, and look at more examples perhaps. Willard is a note in the Book of Music known as Winesap. We know what Winesap is. It’s in Herbert Domain. You can make Cash off of it. Get Credit for it. At the top is the 2 Hermans and the 2 Fishers. You know what this is. A door, an opening. You know that Bono *shuts* the door after ’23. Yes. So the trail leads to the Beech Grove which is the Beach City — for Willard — and inside this grove he thinks of Kate Swift. The reverend who has broken a corner of the Glass in his bell tower study also thinks of Kate — the Lady. Martha invited Hurley inside for tea while she relayed the background with Sam and the numbers. She said that one night — about 16 years before Hurley’s visit — a voice appeared in the static “repeating those numbers over and over again”. Sam used the numbers to win $50,000 in a “Guess the Number of Beans” (within 10) contest at the fair in Kalgoorlie. Martha said the jar “must have been big as a pony, and it’s filled to the rim”, commenting that the man “had been running the same scam for 40 years and nobody had ever come close” until Sam hit it exactly by using all the Numbers (4,8,15,16,23,42).

On their way home from the fair, Sam and his wife were hit head-on by a truck that blew a tire on the highway, and Martha lost her leg, while Sam escaped without a scratch. Toomey blamed that, as well as future unlucky occurrences, on the Numbers. Those occurrences continued until he committed suicide “to end the curse”.

Another thing of note, perhaps: Barrs Mill usurped original name of Willards Mill for Beach City, but presently there is another Barrs Mill in the area (lower part of above map). Barrs Mill is not mentioned in the Stark County history book quoted above, but is in the below newspaper article concerning the history of Beach City (July 3, 1976 · The Evening Independent from Massillon, Ohio · Page 46).

http://www.newspapers.com/newspage/3551068/

willard02

FORTY SIX SATURDAY, JULY 3,1976 THE MASSILLON EVENING INDEPENDENT 1816 Indian trail led Henry Willard to Beach City Village named for railroader By AMY SHRIVER What is today known as Beach City has undergone several changes, both in name and character since the area was first settled around 1816. At thst time, Sugar Creek Township was separated from Canton Township. In this year, Henry Willard followed an Indian trail to a point overlooking today’s village. He chose this si’,e to construct a gristmill, using stones for grinding corn and wheat. The settlement became known as Willards Mills. LATER, F. V. BELL purchased the mill and made ‘numerous improvements. Bell added a sawmill and machinery for carding, spinning, weaving and dressing cloth. Bell became so popular among local residents that Willard was forgotten and the settlement becatne Bell’s Mills. After Bell’s death, the property was passed on to his son, Philip and George. The mill failed under their management due to bankruptcy of some eastern creditors and swindling on the part of two employes who reportedly lit out of town and headed west with full pockets. After passing through a long list of other owners, the mill was purchased in 1850 by Jonathan Barr, who rebuilt the properties. The fickle public began culling the area Barr’s Mills. His grist and flour mills supplied a large merchant trade until 1934 when the buildings and land were taken over for the Muskingum Conservancy District.

This makes the presence of a Trail near Winesburg more important, seemingly (in above map again). And on Indian Trail Creek.

IN THE BEACH…

The young reporter was thinking of Kate Swift, who had once been his school teacher. On the evening before he had gone to her house to get a book she wanted him to read and had been alone with her for an hour. For the fourth or fifth time the woman had talked to him with great earnestness and he could not make out what she meant by her talk. He began to believe she must be in love with him and the thought was both pleasing and annoying.

Up from the log he sprang and began to pile sticks on the fire. Looking about to be sure he was alone he talked aloud pretending he was in the presence of the woman, “Oh, you’re just letting on, you know you are,” he declared. “I am going to find out about you. You wait and see.”

Decisions

Snapshot1002_002

I am (of course) contemplating a move in Second Life since tier payment is coming due in a couple of days. Big surprise, eh? But in walking around Collagesity tonight, am not sure I can give it up. More to be developed there. I’m thinking of eliminating the X Spot Gallery that connects Falmouth, Power Tower, and Kidd Tower. This would free up the sky a bit, and give me more prims to work with. It’s a really cool structure, but it messes up the city’s skyline. Sam Parr State College will remain. Although I may empty it of art, the Toxic Art structure will stay, since that’s making up part of the roof of the underground (which I also don’t want to eliminate). Noru Museum, Tired Falls, House Orange, Power Tower all will remain. Bodega supermarket, X Spot (groundside), and the new gallery behind it will remain. Looks like I’ll have to develop in the sky for further fun. I could have as many as 500 prims freed up soon.

Bracket Jupiter may come to live in Collagesity, and above the Bodega market again. I know he wants to write a history of the Corsica continent from the family’s perspective — he’s a native, after all. Edwardston Resident was going to write a parallel history of Heterocera, but he turned into Baker Bloch’s father (old Space Ghost). A town meeting might be in order to determine a future course.

Hiking season is over here in old cold-as-mold Blue Mountain. F–ing Blue Mountain. No, really, I love the place, or at least I use to. Still think I kind of do. But it’s hard with 6 inches of snow laying on the ground outside your door, and we’re just at the first day of November. Daylight Savings Time ends tonight, meaning it will almost be dark as soon as we get off work now. Time to focus on Second Life again for consolation. And our *f–ing* furnace went out tonight (!). I blame our fuel company — it’s been 2 weeks since we called them for a delivery and they haven’t showed up yet, and we’ve been getting fuel in 5 gallon containers from the convenience store since then. My thoughts are that the nozzle clogged up because of sediments stirred up at the bottom of the tank from these frequent refuelings. Pretty sure. But now we’ll have to call the furnace guys to fix it. And its f–ing 25 degrees outside right now with steady winds. This place gets less attractive each year we stay here. Poor little, frosty cold, student packed Blue Mountain. I always thought I’d die and be buried in it.

Probably…

… heading to Ashville this weekend, or at least Fri night and Sat day. Will probably head to Dead Center Hill with Edna (but not Dead Center Hall). We’ll both take plenty of pics I’m sure. Fall hiking season is winding down or has wound down, what with the coming of a cold weekend in Blue Mtn. (I’ll be away thankfully) and the end of daylight savings time Sun. Will I switch creative blog energy back to Second Life? A possibility. Another possibility is working on sunklands.com and perhaps MapS or UMapS. Billfork. I’d like to keep a steady virtual presence — galleries and temples and overarching towns and such. The good news is that Collagesity is still certainly around. Didn’t give up my Noru land. So I have a foundation already in place. But should I just move the town elsewhere? Perhaps Yd Island — and expand it? Probably not. Will probably just build on what I have in Noru. What have I learned, then, this fall hiking season. I deem it very successful. Well, all the things I discovered in Ashville only verified that it is a nice place to live. Not quite as nice as Blue Mtn. during its peak months (March-May, Sep-Nov), but better in other times perhaps. Winters not nearly as harsh in Ashville… big plus. Summers — we have the whole urban jungle to explore. I don’t get into the woods in the summer, usually, with an exception being the exploration of Con Creek in 2012. I thought Frank and Herman Einstein would focus almost exclusively on the woods, as I shifted away from Second Life as the latter gradually died out. Hasn’t quite happened that way.

I did try to hike today, and it makes for perhaps an interesting story. I was planning to hike on the Bill Mtn. road, but I was strangely blocked. There was a car parked in my usual spot there, just off The Way. An old car of some sort, refurbished. I parked off the bank of the road, then, and proceeded down the dirt Bill Mtn. road, intending to get to at least Tiny Wiltshire and perhaps the creek behind Rust Spot. Well, someone had altered the dimensions of the road a bit, and plowed it deeper, making it difficult to pass the wet spot near the creek at its beginning. While attempting to get around this literal road block, a park ranger’s car got stuck just off the Way between my car and the antique car. It kept spinning and spinning its wheels, and then the ranger turned his blue lights on. This was still just above me as I continued to try to figure out a way to get past the swampy area in front of the creek — no success. So at one point I went up to the ranger’s car, joining another, and asked if we could push him out. Turns out he was stuck on the pavement itself, and would have to be towed. So I continued my walk down the creek, and gave up going to Bill Mtn. after reaching the point where it flows under The Way. Was finally getting the message. Oh, I got the dreaded wet foot at one point. Then I thought, well, I’ll just cross the road and head to Whitehead Crossing perhaps. But this was not to be either. I decided just to return to the car; at this point the ranger’s car had been dislodged. Edna was about to get off work and I phoned her. I would do something with her instead.

Is Bill Mtn. somehow cursed? I’m beginning to think so, as this is not the first time strange doings have occurred that turned me away from this place. Rust Spot remains an iffy visit. It shouldn’t be that way.

What if it’s a meth lab instead of an “alien lab”? No… thinking about it only a little further and I have to go with the alien infestation hypothesis still. They *know* what I’m taking pictures of. And for the record, I had my camera with me this day, ready to record again. Hmm.

There’s still a chance I’ll have a woodsy hike on Thursday before we leave Fri for Ashville. And then upon our return Sat night I can hike on Sun, which should be chilly but sunny. So there’s a little bit of a hiking season left, potentially. But I don’t think I’ll attempt Bill Mtn. again.

Hucka D.:

Whitehead Crossing would be an option. Harrisonia… you didn’t give it enough of a chance. What can I say about Bill Mtn. that hasn’t already been said?

—–

bb:

Hucka D., what is the relationship between Bill Mtn. and Dead Center Hill, remembering that you called it Bill Hill at one time?

Hucka D.:

As you’ve guessed, I cannot make comments about that much. A transfer of energy has taken place. Blue Mountain to Ashville.

bb:

Is this further deflection?

Hucka D.:

Do not go too far into the Bill Mountain mystery.

bb:

Does…

Hucka D.:

Yes(!) Dead Center Hill is *not* offbounds, at least by our judgements.

bb:

Hucka D., it’s simply too odd that there’s a black and white rock framing Epsi (near northern edge of Bill Mtn.) and then a red rock appeared at the creek just below this past winter. You talked about a red rock in Epsi at the time. Black, white, red all over. What’s black and white and red all over is Epsi.

Hucka D.:

Maybe.

bb:

Can I go to Espi on Thursday and perhaps Sunday.

Hucka D.:

Epsi is on the margin. There’s a black side and then white. Epsi is half and half. See red.

North Carolina State, coached by Jim Valvano, won the national title with a 54-52 victory in the final game over Houston, coached by Guy Lewis. The ending of the final is one of the most famous in college basketball history, with a buzzer-beating dunk by Lorenzo Charles, off a high, arching air ball from 30 feet out by Dereck Whittenburg providing the final margin. This contributed to the nickname given to North Carolina State, the “Cardiac Pack”, a reference to their often close games that came down to the wire — in fact, the team won 7 of its last 9 games after trailing with a minute left in the game. Both Charles’s dunk and Valvano’s running around the court in celebration immediately after the game have been staples of NCAA tournament coverage ever since. North Carolina State’s victory has often been considered one of the greatest upsets in college basketball history.

Still…

have a decision whether to head to Ashville again today, Hucka D., or remain in my beloved Blue Mountain for the weekend. Which would you choose?

Hucka D.:

I’d go to Ashville [if I were you]. Direct link between Bill Mountain aliens and Dead Center Hill. Fulfillment. Blooming. That’s an outlet. Do you see?

bb:

I suppose, Hucka D. Long drive there. And back.

Hucka D.:

Stay over in Mythopolis. No pressing items Monday and you can finish your database document and also enter some acc. Time to ketchup. Can you mustard the needed energy?

bb:

I relish the opportunity (smile).

So it looks like I might be heading to Ashville again today, after getting a bit more sleep. Or else I spend time at Harrisonia — take the toys. Maybe the latter. Maybe head up to the True Labyrinth again, even. False Labyrinth. If so I must make a symbolic gesture of reestablishing a toy avatar center in Blue Mountain. Harrisonia may be the most powerful center outside of Frank and Herman Parks themselves, and perhaps Granddaddy Mountain. And I have a new spot there to focus upon — take pics. Will be a beautiful weekend.
