Falmouth Interpretations/Associations 02

(continued from Falmouth Interpretations/Associations 01)

I must raise The Kniks out of the X-Ray source, back into the light. Back into Avebury Light. In the X-Ray spring which is the black hole, there is Gila 00, the null before the 01.

Reconnected. Reharmonized. Peace with Zapple and *that* twinship, which continues after a brief period of independence in Carrcass-1. A lot hinges on Carrcass-1 Hucka D. Hucka D.? Not here.

Hucka D.:

I’m here. Ready to continue?

bb:

Sure.

Hucka D.:

Button your mouth and fold your clothes. Here comes England!

the moon says go to england

bb:

Of course that becomes a candidate for a collage picture now, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Right. So to continue, let’s move to Falmouth 02. Or would you rather start with Falmouth 03? We better get one round of interpretations under our belt today, however.

bb:

Since Falmouth 03 has a picture of the same Avebury house, symbolically, as The Kniks live in in Gila 01, the very first official collage of the whole Gilatona-Lis process, let’s start there. Shark is talking to Mouse. A corndog on the roof of the house which is the same as Selma’s arm, which smokes a cigarette. A clock stuck permanently on 2:22 unable to move to 2:23. Twelve mainly red lined circles like the twelve hours of a clock. There are 2 clock faces, Hucka D, a yin or am and a yang or pm. 12 Noon is am and 12 Midnight is pm. This is 1967, night, and 1968, day. These are the batters faced by Don Chance during those two years.

falmouth03final06

Hucka D.:

Thank you once more. (pauses to look at collage to restart thinking processes) Nothing has changed since Falmouth Interpretations/Associations 01. The 12 triangles are still the 3rd iteration of the Koch star crop circle from 1997, a peak circle for that particular glyph season along with 2 companions at Alton Barnes and Hackpen Hill.

MORE TEXT SOON.

Falmouth??? Yes, Falmouth.

Base of first and perhaps only collage of Falmouth, the 4th series of 2012. But this is a 4-part collage if so, furthering the diptychs and triptych already present in Gilatona-Lis. So I suppose this becomes Gilatona-Lis-Falmouth. Must shorten this?!

Here are the 4 parts.

Here is the whole:

falmouth01test01

This goes in a big circle, unlike the diptychs and triptych. This will become Falmouth 01 02 03 04.

Is there even a Falmouth 05 06 07 08?

Also, obviously, this is going to be a sort of big brother companion to Latona 03 04, whose angle is from the *other* side of the Red Lion parking lot.

Should be loads of fun to fill in.

But, musical benchmarks are everywhere I remembered as the Barge Inn loomed. Rodriguez faded as soon as I removed the earphones and was replaced in my head with my own very poor rendition of Wild Thing on the ukulele (which I have been working out, unsuccessfully since Reg Presley, lead singer of the Troggs passed away last month…Reg is quoted as saying this was his favourite pub).

Distribution of Gilatona-Lis collages

Hard to interpret, I know, but the basic gist I’m getting out of this is that the Gila series (magenta pins) is mainly set in Marlborough and points northwest to Hackpen Hill, Lis (cyan pins) mainly involves Devizes locations at first, and then moves to the Alton Barnes region a couple of miles west to finish up, and then the middle series of Latona (yellow pins) mainly involves locations between these two (like West Woods, setting for Latona 08 09 10). The only place where all 3 series overlap is Avebury, which is roughly in the center of the map. Gila 01, Latona 03/04 and Lis 08 all involve primarily Avebury locations, and a number of other collages from each series have Avebury elements added in.

In addition, a couple of other collages are still set in Wiltshire County, but considerably outside this general circle (Gila 02 in Salisbury to the south; Lis 00 in Castle Combe to the west). We can also add the 3 full collages of the Baker Bloch in England exhibit from 2010 into this group, which are set in Purton Stoke to the north.

gilatonalis01
Gila series locations (magenta)

gilatonalis02
add in Lis series locations (cyan)

gilatonalis03
add in Latona series locations (yellow)

Then kind of behind all this in the background, as it were, are the remaining supplemental collages created for the Baker Bloch in England (green pins)…

gilatonalis04

*Now* compare all this to the crop circle map from 2012 I bring up in this mid-January post, just before starting Gilatona-Lis…

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/plans/

wiltshirecropcircles01
Marlborough to the east again, and Devizes to the west.

Summary: The distribution of locations used in Gilatona-Lis collages roughly follows that of crop circles from not only 2012 but previous years back to 1990 at least. The area is roughly covered in an east to west sweep, with Avebury at the center. Crop circles also tend to congregate around Avebury. This is an the energy I’m obviously dependent upon.

Crop circles themselves are seen in many Gilatona-Lis collages (Gila 01 02 03 04 05, Latona 00 01 05, Lis 06 07 08 09), and symbolically implied in others (sunfish imagery for example).

—–

We also have some collages whose imagery is primarily from Second Life (Gila 05, Latona 01). I’ll get to a more detailed breakdown of Gilatona-Lis images in a future post.

Note: Gilatona-Lis is now on flickr.

Alton Priors Alchemy 00

Base for a new collage. Sorry my bud Brian R. Marshall. I apparently won’t be using your material this time, and decided to focus on the Alton Priors church instead of the one in Calstone Wellington. But you’re there in spirit (!) This will be the beginning of Lis 07, most likely. Lis 07 08 and 09 may also focus on this church near the Alton Barnes white horse.

altonpriorsplaque09d

The woman’s head in the picture *wasn’t* there, but *could* have been there. It is a strong probable reality photo, then. How the *body* of the person in the picture within the picture got here and why their head had to be substituted with another one will have to remain a mystery for now. Speaking of mysteries and buttons and shiny things in general, let’s head inside the church once more. You’ll see the woman’s head repeated, same scale, in the last photo. It is probably the wife of the photographer who took all the pictures below (and the main one above; not the picture within the picture, in other words), and who I won’t name for now for various reasons. It could be B. R. Marshall again but most likely isn’t, we’ll say — the “spirit” thing again.

A 1700 year old Yew Tree stands on the church grounds. Amazing.

The controversial brass plaque. Here’s the wikipedia article on the church again, which provides a link to one of the stranger sites on the subject.

End of Lis.

I’m not sure if the next collage or 2 or 3 of the Lis series will be primarily set in Calstone Wellington, Alton Priors, or both or elsewhere, but I thought I’d continue the selection process with a couple of links to the mysterious All Saints Church of Alton Priors.

Uffington’s Blowing Stone featured in this 1980 novel created about the same time as the start of The Resident’s Mole Trilogy. Although concieved as a stand alone novel, Duncton Wood became the basis for its own trilogy. Another coincidence?

More Wiltshire Shots

GoogleEarth Streetview: Calstone Wellington. Don’t know what this object is — looks like a human being flying through the air and rolled into a ball (holding his legs?) in the second shot. But the object in the first shot appears to be more of a large pink bird like a flamingo.

wiltshire6703

wiltshire6704

These appear just south of pictures of the Church of St. Mary, another Wiltshire place of worship that B.R. Marshall has documented for geograph, this time with considerably more photos than for even St. John’s of Devizes:

along with some interesting, surrounding landscape features…

The square-ish field in the lower left part of the same photo, for instance, was the site of a complex *square shaped* crop circle in July 2009. The location is called Morgan’s Hill. These amazing pictures come via GoogleEarth submissions as well:

In comparison, a deceptively simple 2007 star circle from the next field over:

I couldn’t help myself when associating the 2 Morgan’s Hill circles with these cuddly characters, especially since I’ve inserted the one on the right into a recent collage:

Also, take a look at this article if you wish about a rather famous 2011 crop circle appearing at the foot of the same hill (Furze Hill beech copse in distance):
