Mabel’s primary goal today remained the mission, however, and speaking with Precious Snowflake who she knows is the same as Baker Blinker. On her way, she stops to take a good look at that tanker. “Yes, this might do very well for subject matter,” she says.
She walks into the fire within but remains unharmed.

Actor Tom Casey visits The Twin Peaks Laboratory — which also happens to be located on the Gaeta V continent — for inspiration and education. After all, his character of Casey One Hole within the ongoing “Collagesity Winter 2017-2018” graphic novel is largely based upon the Bad Coop figure of the show played marvelously by Kyle McLachlan. The same Real Life actor plays two other Coops… but that’s a long story to go into. I highly recommend for anyone who loves progressive television/film to watch the original 2 season run of “Twin Peaks” from the early 90s, and then the just released “season 3” coming 25 years later (“Twin Peaks: The Return”). Taken as a whole, the 18 episodes of the new season form a kind of giant or hyper movie, but, as the wife and I have learned, you really need to read the attached 2 books written by TP co-creator Mark Frost to make sense of it all (“The Secret History of Twin Peaks” and “Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier”). However, if you choose this “total experience” path, be sure to do the following: read “The Secret History” first, then watch “The Return”, then read “The Final Dossier” (which I just finished about a month ago). This on top of experiencing the first two seasons and attached “Fire Walk with Me” film. I’ll let interested parties look up details online having laid out this general milieu.
I am personally inclined to regard “Twin Peaks: The Return” as director/writer David Lynch’s singular masterpiece, the culmination of a long career starting, in the broader public eye, with the breakthrough movie “Eraserhead” from 1977. But his last two films proper, “Mulholland Drive” and “INLAND EMPIRE”, are also very very good as well. Lynch, again to me, seems to just get better with age and experience.

Third time’s the charm, as they say. He was up and running considerably quicker this go, right on the heels of Tiny Tina. He would not let her beat him to the dark wall again and send him back to the grass free Joint Joint, awake and cold sober. Jacob I. was going to the other side tonight.
He made it!
But not without losing a valuable friend and ally in the process.

“And the corresponding pictures on this other wall? Is that me in the center?”
“Kind of,” responds Baker. “The title says ‘Chuckles’. Obviously our fisherwoman friend across the tracks.” Baker Bloch checks his watch. “Speaking of which…”

Mary meekly nods.
“Now tell me all about this Osborne Well.”

Urch was daydreaming about logging when Old Mabel fell from the sky. She remembered her mission: emissary.
“No time follow me,” she said in a course voice as Old Mabel got up from the floor and dusted herself off. “Unch is waiting. 7:10, tick tock. Gravity Falls.”
Old Mabel had never met Urch before. She began to think the obvious.
Urch opened the seldom used front door of the Blue Feather, part of the original castle it was built around. “You think that you are dreaming, no? Test it on this lamp blocking the open door. If you are dreaming, the room will remain lit when you turn off the light. Go ahead — try it.”
Old Mabel turned off the light. The room remain lit. “Now you know,” Urch said, and walked out the door into the forest. She had no choice but to follow.

Then she was at 97/97/97 with Urch. The two stand uncomfortably close to each other. “Unch lies along this line,” the child hobo said, pointing northeast.
“Unch is the orange you seek. He is the whole within the hole. Go within and you’ll see time itself split up into soapy bubbles. Alienatorooter.” Old Mabel then imagines 8 oranges sitting around The Table with a thick book in their midst. Not Floydodo but Floydada. A 9th appears to their south-southwest, quickly turning into a purple martin bird which then flies left into the woods. “9 not 8,” Old Mabel realizes. “The Table is incomplete still.”
“Unch will clarify. Nighttime in reality. Daytime in dreams. Walk with me.”
