CHRO is red

Maybe Baker can draw inspiration from Rubisea and the Blue Drake sim, which still contains many of the scenic elements he enjoyed while staying there in the past. This appears to include the entire Unnasty Branch he rented a cottage near in 2009 I believe, the lone feeder stream for the Rubisea body of water. Rubi-sea can translated to “Red Sea”, but also a red c, as in middle c on a piano.

Loose Notes, Then Chatting?

Rubisea then discovered on the Maebaleia continent. Hucka D. claims it was original SL land, and where Baker Bloch and Baker Blinker were “born”, perhaps.*** Represents 1/12th or 1/13th of Blue Feather Sea which Crabwoo is situated upon (one corner anyway). Is original ur note of SL, the Red C or Red Sea, thus: Ruby Sea or Rubi Sea or Rubisea. Unexplored connections between Rubisea and the Rubi Forest. Has light (sunny) and dark (moon, werewolf) side. Represents anima and animus in ways, like Baker Bloch and Baker Blinker to me. Light half in Blue Drake sim, thus origin of story that Blue Drake is source of Blue Feather (Sea). Original note, again, which turns into the 12 notes [or 13; Baker’s Dozen] of the Blue Feather Sea. Feather is bigger than bird/duck in this manner.

Chat…

The Blue Feather Sea *came from* Bluedrake. Drake is a duck is a bird. Feather from bird. But the feather is much larger than the bird in this case. 12-13 times as large along one side alone. What does this mean? Is it, perhaps, a RO of ones, then? 12 or 13? CHRO… BROOK… ROOK?

Different BFG?

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2015/03/23/artie-c-spongeberg/

When I was a freshman in college I started listening to a lot of atonal music, like Schoenberg, like Ives, like Bartok. But mainly, at first, Schoenberg and his famous pupils Webern and Berg. I was also breaking from my tonal past. This also represented a relative dark period in my life, thankfully quite short — a period of about a 1/2 year at best. Afterwards I returned to my naturally sunny self. It was the damned atonal crud affecting me, you see. Or the 12 tone stuff to be more specific. One of the ways I worked through it was to incorporate and transform for easier digestion. Thus was born the CHRO system, which never really circled back to a composing system as I originally intended. It didn’t become a pseudo-replacement for Schoenberg’s 12 tone system. It had a life of its own instead, and also made a bridge between music and art.

What caused Nasty Branch to become Unnasty, and Rubisea to turn from red/dirty to clear/clean?

Shot 61 Revisited

Like Falmouth’s collage 61 but without Whitehead Crossing. Or is it?

Facebook once more:

Everyone who knows me, well some, know that I love The Beatles. But some of the some might not know that there are 3 Beatles to love, the actual Beatles, then The Beatles of Comedy, and then the Bizarro Beatles. The Beatles of Comedy are more commonly known as Firesign Theatre. The Bizarro Beatles often go by the moniker of The Residents. 3 Beatles. All equal. All Beatles in their own special way. Love the 3 Beatles.

Fal Mouth Collage # 5

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2014/02/06/good-grief/

collage11test03

Baker Bloch had to go back to this one for a closer look. Ear — obviously composing by ear. That’s the yellow fellow (see his legs). That’s baker b. Then the red dude is the CHRO system, split off from composition in ’77. I’ll explain this more later, but CHRO’s dominant or tonal color is red, like the Red [Sea?]. Baker Bloch remembers Close Encounters of the Third Kind from his user, and going home afterwards in a heightened state to start CHRO. A single row. R RO[ etc.]. Then the blue guy who may be Barely Singwright or perhaps Steptoe Butte himself: That’s the 3rd part, the improvisation (opposite of CHRO in that there is no control involved whatsoever on this one). So this is Story Room. And it’s me. Baker b. But it’s more now, because… of Spongeberg and his observations. He sees more now. I am Spongeberg? Not quite. 4th.

“So Spongeberg just went into one of the Whitehead Crossing collages and didn’t come out. And that’s it for him?”

Hucka D.:

Yes. Goodbye Spongebob, er berg.

But turned out he wasn’t gone by a long shot. Pineapple.

Chuck… Charlie. [Ear, huh?]

Snapshot1151_003
“How could I have missed this?!”

Snapshot1151_006
“No idea. But there’s Chuck again…”

Snapshot1151_007
“… and again.”

Snapshot1151_008
Artie saunters past the first directly related Whitehead Crossing collage. He’s getting deja vu.

“2989: This means something.”

“Hey that’s my *rock*.” Get it? Rock[ paper scissors].

“There’s that baker b. I’ve been warned about. He’ll show up I know. He won’t be able to stay away. Snoopy.”

Snapshot1151_014
Artie J. thinks the whole history of Whitehead Crossing is encompassed in this collage. Snoopy!

Snapshot1151_017
The 61st and last collage of the Falmouth series. 49×61 equals The Crossing itself. 2989.

He certainly recognizes this view (!)

Deal

So here it is. Here’s my theory. Remember all that talk about a 4th Way into Whitehead Crossing last spring and summer? Remember how *Story Room* dwelt in the house at the end of this path or way? Here’s the related collage…

“Fourth”

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2014/09/03/update-03/

I know who this Chuck is. And why he lived at the end of the 4th Way.

“He came into Collagesity and took Carrcassonnee’s place just to show[ you] that he could do so. Then he left. He doesn’t consider this place real. What’s real for him is out there.”

I take Frank Park and give you Herman. Have fun with Herman. I have Frank.

They’ve simply taken the whole [Allen Knob], pheh. Same person or people obviously. 2130.

Hucka D.’s return. Soon Carrcassonnee too.

[joined in progress]

wasn’t for him. We had a talk about it.

bb:

You and Spongeberg?

Hucka D.:

Yes. I agreed to come back. Spongeberg said he’s not ready yet.

bb:

But he’s here now. No going away once you’re here.

Hucka D. (somewhat sternly):

Where did you hear that?

bb:

Here?

Hucka D.:

So I… you go ahead.

bb:

No you.

Hucka D.:

We’re back to Whitehead Crossing and this Doug. He’s here to stay. But, no, he’ll go away. Did you consider this may be a she?

bb:

Possibility I suppose. I would do it if I were a woman.

Hucka D.:

Doesn’t it look kind of nice and clean for a man?

bb:

Why in that place at this time?

Hucka D.:

Power point. They have successfully taken over Whitehead Crossing hook line and sinker. They have conquered. You cannot return now. Banished. Because you didn’t care enough about it, see. They’ll do more with it for now. Then you can return later. Use their spot. But stay away for now. Don’t go down there. Power. Point. We don’t know what kind of power they have.

bb:

Is Spongeberg in the teepee?

Hucka D.:

Silly man. But: yes!

Hiking Updates

Focus this year seems to be more on Herman Park and TILE Creek and Drink Lake. Also: Notherton a bit, over in Frank Park. Big news so far is the discovery of an earthen teepee smack in the middle of my precious Whitehead Crossing. I’ve been invaded! I do not know the culprit but the wife suspects Sustainable Development students from the local college. Maybe a paper or report is involved. Anyhoot, they’re there now, and I’m sure I’ll stop in every week or 3 to check on progress. The teepee is not yet finished, and will not protect from the rain. Does someone plan to actually live in it for a spell? Perhaps the *whole summer coming up*? But, like I said, it’s there now.

The other prime development is a re-attraction to Herman Park, specifically the Drink Lake environs. Newly explored regions include Straw Hole on the shores of Drink Lake, and also Ditchlandia below the lake’s dam. I desire to create another toy happening. Will the setting be Ditchlandia? A distinct possibility. I haven’t returned to Billfork yet this early spring but that’s probably in the cards soon as well. Perhaps this weekend… I wish Carrcassonnee was still around to talk to. Or Hucka D. Someone. But I guess there’s Artie J. Spongeberg now.

AJ Spongeberg:

No.

bb:

Not available?

[no additional answer]

I’d also like to get back to Sharieland. Look at that Mysten Rock again. Toy happening there instead? And what about Middletown? Wasn’t the plan to have a toy happening at Dead Center Hill before the poison ivy returned? What about that? What about Mythopolis and the Spine Line?

Hucka D.:

Okay I have returned.

bb:

Great (!) Where’ve you been?

Hucka D.:

Doesn’t matter. Frogtown. Jennifer.

bb:

Jennifer?

Hucka D.:

A friend. A real good friend. Real good.

bb:

I’m glad you’re back.

Hucka D.:

We must speak of Whitehead Crossing, for one. Doug is involved. Doug is in the [teepee]. Stay away from Doug. Beware of Doug.

Artie J. Spongeberg is currently listening to…

Karlheinz Stockhausen’s Sirius for trumpet, soprano, bass clarinet, bass & electronics. He may have to have a bit of a lie down afterwards.

Perhaps interesting…

Reading Chuck’s “book”. Cool!

http://crypticorp.com/cbobuck/page3/index.html

This stood out for now:

http://crypticorp.com/cbobuck/page3/page18/index.html

Roman cooked dinner last night and Randy entertained us with stories of life in LA. At one point we were laughing so hard that I [choked], curiously enough, on an artichoke.

Artie Choke Joke.
