Bogota *11* start?

Bogota moves up a floor.
Floor 2’s Collage 06, a 2-part animation (upper left), is from the past again, like Collage 01 directly below it on Floor 1 of Castle Jack. Collage 07 beside Collage 06, another 2-fer-1 animation, is brand new. In common with Collage 02 beneath it, in turn, Collage 07 is set in the Blue Feather. A blue feather appears on each. Collage 06 and Collage 07 both depict multiple versions of Dr. Blood/Tin S. Man. More analysis soon enough.

Museum Gallery?
Baker Bloch poses before the newest collage in the Bogota series (“The Appearance of Chester the Librarian”), seeming to wrap up the 1st floor exhibit of the town’s newest gallery. This is Bogota 05, also the first animation of the series. Notice the same central standing rock of the collage (Stone 10) lies outside the opening to Baker’s left. Cool juxtaposition, eh? And not really planned.
How long will Collagesity remain on Mars is a question to be asking. Baker Bloch’s already gone off in the dog once, maybe twice. He’s seen a lot. He will report soon. To Wheeler and also to us blog readers as well. And The Table is basically set up, with just a little fine tuning to do, perhaps (!). Much good stuff happening in the town still. Progress continues…

Stone 01 and accompanying Tyle Cube had to be moved up a floor to make room for Bogota 05.

Similar juxtaposition between same opening and Bogota 01 in more innocent days before the crash of rusty Mars.

blue feather

“Ray Davies visits Collagesity!”
Parallel to this, the Red Door Church has been re-established in Collagesity Heights.
Baker Bloch found Spongeberg within, freshly emerged from a stained glass window. Music was playing. “You Really Got Me.”
“Portal!?” queries an approaching Baker over the loud rock n’ roll.
“Time!” shouts Spongeberg back. “Care to dance with me *now*!?”
What could he do?

Discussions
Baker Bloch had just finished applying the “Crash on Mars” collage texture to a prim in Castle Jack when Wheeler showed up.
“Jimmy Page,” she declared to a turning Baker. “My old friend-nemesis. Practiced psychic defense just because of him, you understand. A dark, dark period in my life. Psychic attacks, pheh. Jealousy. Stars on the rise; demons at the bottom of pools. I was always possessed.”
“Until the eye,” Baker Bloch adds.
“Until the eye.”

Furry Karl’s down-on-the-coast cousin Crash is in the new collage, Baker Blinker, giving the name to the title. It’s not something crashing on Mars.”
“Per se,” Baker Blinker adds.
“Per se.”

“What’s he fishing?” asks Crash’s cousin Furry Karl. “Looks like a hummingbird with a star at the back.”
“That’s a central mystery,” Baker replied. “Should be a fish instead of a bird, you know. But we know, you know, the black star has to do with Bowie and dark, dark death. The hummingbird may stand for resurrection.”

“Weighty Past”?
Is *this* the true beginning of the Bogota series?
I’ve thought this before; false start, however. But — interesting — that picture texture is now rezzing in for me where it wasn’t before.
Maybe this time I’ll create a loose set of collages based on Collagesity settings. Perhaps meaningful that several Moon of Moon characters (Prissy, Bender) show up in “Weighty Past”. They’ve been almost completely absent from the blog since their creation in Feb./March of this year. High fantasy indeed.
And here’s (drum roll please): Hucka D.
Hucka D.:
I don’t know neither.
bb:
Whether it’s the start. True start.
Hucka D.:
Yes. Maybe you better ask Carrcassonnee.
bb:
Shucks — hoping you were back.

Instead, Wheeler helped me as Baker Bloch out. Interesting.
“Prissy and Bender, eh? But as I understand, that rock and Tyle Cube also represent the 6 sided Moon of the Moon, with equilateral gravity now. Correct?”
“Correct, Wheeler. What about Rutherford “Booger” Hayes? He’s a collage regular as well. He has a history within. And there’s Spider — Spider! Remember when Carrcassonnee stated he had to go back into the collages. Well, perhaps there he is! Maybe he’s not in the gazebo any more. Maybe he’s found a way in.”
“Where’s Baker Blinker tonight?” Wheeler then asks.
“Dunno.”
“Well, I’m more interested right now in the Moon of the Moon and how to get back there. There’s a labyrinth on that satellite’s satellite. Like Rock 01 has a labyrinth, and the same kind (7 circuit). Maybe you better stick that in your pipe and smoke it.”
“The Moon of the Moon was indeed squared — squaring the circle, or, in this case, sphering the cube. That expression just came up in a Space Ghost episode I watched today. Its name was Piledriver LINK. It starred my father, of course, and then *his* grandfather, who looked like my father with a grey beard pasted on his face. He mentioned a squared circle just out of the blue (4:40). Here, I’ll pull up the related video. We can go up to the theatre and watch; I think you’ll like it.”
“I suppose I have time,” Wheeler said. “I have to…”
“Have to what?”
“You know. Get to the shed.”
“Wheeler, you’re the only entity I know from Collagesity that has to regularly use the restroom. I can wait.”
Problem was, it usually took hours. Like Superman.
“I’ll be up at the gazebo when you’re done. Perhaps talking to Carrcassonnee. Perhaps not. But I’ll be there. Waiting.”
“Good.” She entered.

Tinbaby
Things seemed pretty much back to normal in the Hole in the Wall after the Big Rain. Karoz was sitting at his usual spot at the end of the bar playing his card game. A totally intact Furry Karl tended the bar. But there had been changes. Oh yes.
“Karl, what happened to Devil Dave’s trailer outside? It wasn’t there when I walked down from the market.”
Furry Karl glanced out the door. “Oh yeah, I haven’t noticed. Didn’t hear anything last night. But maybe, don’t you think, he’s *gone* gone. Left the scene.”
“I was just getting kind of use to him being here.”
“Oh you weren’t around that horrible night when the rain peaked, Karoz,” responded Karl. “I thought I was going to get eaten alive!”
“But you’re here, and your whole Karl,” reassured Karoz. “How about the New Guy? His name is Dave too, claims Baker Blinker. Don’t you think…”
“He came in here late last night,” interrupted Furry Karl. “Said he had just finished a book by this guy Blood Curdling, and it kept mentioning my name.”
“Well, did he guess?”
“He knows. That’s obvious.” Furry Karl paused, wondering if he should tell Karoz what’s on his mind. “He talked about the Tinbaby.”
“The what?” Karoz hadn’t read Blood Curdling’s Furry Karl’s book.
Furry Karl described the Tinbaby, to Karoz, as a green tinted robot with an exterior beating heart and a spike on top of his head. Actually there is no green tint: that’s just the reflection from the many trees in the Rubi Woods. Tinbaby is made of tin and is colored so. And the exterior heart is just a symbolic one made of plastic. Carrcassonnee knows this being as Dr. Blood, a larger, more grown up version. Dr. Blood can walk about the town freely, but Tinbaby is limited to the 8×5 dimensions of the woods. Furry Karl has seen the smaller entity numerous times. He describes it as a monster.
“Doesn’t sound all that bad, Karl,” says Karoz. “I mean, how tall did you say this thing was?”
“4 feet, maybe 5 sitting down.” Furry Karl was exaggerating for the sake of a tall tale.
“When do you see him? Or is it a her?”
“Monsters don’t necessarily have a sex,” came the answer. “I suppose he (or she) uses that spike on top of his head to gorge things, like a unicorn horn.”
“Unicorn, eh?” Karoz responded. “Is this *new* Dave, this, what does he like to be called?”
Furry Karl didn’t know.
“Anyway, is he still crashing at Baker Blinker’s sometimes?” Karoz eyed Furry Karl keenly.
“I think he lives in Orange Home (at the end of Cannon Street).”
“Good.”
“But,” continued Karl, “he was up all night last night at Baker Blinker’s reading that book.”
“Darnit!”

On cue, Bogota (Dave) walks into the bar and sits down in front of Furry Karl, at the same seat he had the night he first revealed himself. Karl begins to get antsy again. Bogota turns to Karoz.
“Karoz, I’m not going to ask Karl because I know he doesn’t want to go, but I thought you might help me. I need a witness.”
“What’s going on, er…”
“I’ve found the center of the woods, Karl”, Bogota answered simply. “I know a way out… another way. One I didn’t really expect.”
“You’ve found the — center — of the woods?” Karl repeated back.
“Yes.”
