big… mammoth even

“I believe, let’s see, *this* one is mine, Parasol. ‘Olive *Green* Pink.'”

“Good to know.” Parasol had finished with her chicken and was starting with the eggs. Three of ’em. Knik — Big Black Skome.

She still couldn’t see the Ants for the Eleph in the room.

Gastonites

“Well here we are lady,” spoke Uncle Zach, currently (and miraculously!) posing as a taxi driver. “The Joint Joint. It’s haunted you know. That back room. Back in the back. There’s people back there that shouldn’t be there.”

“I don’t care,” Heidi replied innocently with naive voice.

“Two eggs, they say,” he started again, hands extended and wavering to accent the spookiness. “Floating in mid air without any wires.”

“I’m not scared of eggs.” So child-like. Very surprising (again).

“You haven’t seen *these* eggs. Different colors they are. One glowing red, the other: green. Two colors that don’t go together well —  at all.  And: are you going to get out or not?” His haunted story had run its course. For now.

“Goodbye Mr. Taxi Man. ”

A boy appeared in the chair beside the door. Heidi changed as well.

“Shall we enter, Georgie Porgie?”

“After you, um, Heidi Widie.”

He always had trouble keeping up.

introductions

She had come to see the band but they were away. Well, Jim A. was *permanently* away, replaced by this mysterious Jim B. who was 20 years younger. And what about herself? Also 20 years displaced. It was 20 years ago today (etc.).

The Band; a make-believe one inside a real one. But the make-believe one had come to overshadow the real, like a Virtual Reality within Reality Reality begins to take over and work its powers outside in as well as inside out. Glove.

Satan.

“Hell-o hell-o hell-o.”

repatriation

“So it was actually the very next night the drums changed over. To the celebrated circle within a circle.”

“Yes,” states Biff Carter, still drinking and explaining at the bar. “They were celebrity spotting in that small park outside the Seraph Club on the other side of town, the *uptown* area, when Jenny noticed the poster.”

—–

“Hey dad. You’re more into British stuff than American, aren’t you? More Union Jack than Stars and Stripes?”

“Sure, baby. If we were in Real Life.”

She pointed above her father. “What about *that* for a logo, then?”

—–

“And, as you can hear, there’s improvement even in the drumming tonight. The symbol actually makes the man in this case. He’s entered his ascent. And, sadly, this trajectory would eventually cross his equally ascending daughter’s at the Room.”

“Back to the Room, then.”

“Sure, baby. I mean — just sure.”

7 Stones: Artist “Alley”

Audrey’s

Paying respect (Karl, Terry, other pirates).

I suppose *this* could be the alley. Behind the structures instead of in front.

Yes.

But Woody’s blocked this completing underpass if so.

Woody appears to be the new Pitch Darkly, in that *his* house is connected to the Blue Feather instead of his bloodied vampire friend’s Darkly Manor. Interesting new twist — probably one of many the town will provide. Although full of familiar structures and viewpoints, 7 Stones has a new air to it. Beyond Collagesity.

I hope so, since so much is at stake.

—–

“And House Greenup has also returned, Cardboard,” chirps Woody Woodmanson cheerfully to his ever-present, flattie house companion.”

“What troubles you my friend,” she imagines the statue asking her after the funeral. This Angel of Death.

“Oh, just a decision looming. Whether to connect to a motherland. Or fatherland. The separation happened a number of years ago.”

“I remember,” states the statue in her head. “Caledonia. But you’s guys have moved your kingdom — or queendom — forward. Caledonia has essentially stayed the same. It would be like connecting to the past. This Winterfell.”

“Rosehaven now,” says Merry Gouldbusk, soon to *be* Queen. And with that the fantasy was over. She was alone again.

Chili

“So, like tell me about the building behind me, then,” requested Hitgal, eager for more Gaston-Berry history.

“Owned by the eye guy. *Formerly* owned. Split with the Berries, he and his cat. All bones.”

Hitgal shivers. Let’s go back inside and talk more. Getting colds out here.

—–

“Yeah, I’m gonna rent this poolside apartment starting next week, mind you. Just waiting for the check to come in. John Bob Denver and all. Did a real good job for him.” But that was a job both Domino Wendell Cashmere and Hitgal Dryden Douglas knew they shouldn’t talk about. Fusion.

“That would be chill’n,” responds Hitgal, looking around. “Your 78 inch plasma would fits nicely against that wall over there. We could watch the Atlanta Hawks’ games. Just like old times.”

“Well, unfortunately this is a Brazilian themed sim, see, so probably more soccer on than anything. Notice that soccer ball perpetually bobbing around the pool? That sort of thing.”

“I didn’t see it,” admitted usually observant Hitgal. “In the waters itself?”

“Sure,” replied Domino, then let it drop. He looked down at the table and the open magazine there.

“You thinking about getting a new face, Hitgal? Because: don’t do it. I like you the way you are.” He leans over for a kiss, but Hitgal waves him off, moves toward the wall that might soon provide much soccer entertainment, looks out the window.

*There’s* the soccer ball, she observed. Just like he said, hmm. She wondered if someone was editing her worldview again. Like before, in the Dark Days. She’ll have to look at her old journals to review. Things *hidden* from view. Like the Brazilian flags. Brazilian sports — flags. What else?

—–

Later, Hitgal revealed part of her planned new look. “I’m still working on the color scheme. But… what’s you think?”

Domino doesn’t answer immediately, prompting defensive Hitgal to say: “Mind *you,* Domino, this is *just* the start, hrmph.”

“All right Jill MacGill. Where’s the sacred orange? Is it behind trailer number 01, 02, or 03? Choose or lose.”

“Wait. Let me take a picture of that pathetic expression.”

stares

Turchin McGurchin was tidying up Mabel’s original Scarlet Creative Sylvia House when Ruby silently entered. “Don’t let me scare you old man,” she said to him from behind.” Turchin laid his broom aside and they hugged. 2 weeks was long enough to make a good friend.

—–

“It’s so beautiful here,” Ruby spoke while staring out across the expanse of the Rubi Woods from her higher perspective on the tire swing.

Turchin nodded from his chair while trying to fight nodding off at the same time. “Yup. Sure ’nuff is.”

Ruby just sat for a while, taking in the calmness and serenity. “Shame Mabel can’t live here… in this one.” She glances toward the SCS house just to her left now.

“Mabel will be back soon enough,” Turchin offered in his countrified manner of speaking. Slow and easy. “Best she’s not here for a spell — till she fully gets over Buurb. Yup, I saw it coming, all along.”

Rubi looked down at Turchin, then, after a smaller pause: “Do you think they still love each other?”

“Hard to tell. Since Buurb’s a girl again…” He lets it go at that.

Ruby stares down at her crossed feet. “Of course.”

—–

Turchin caught Ruby up with town news since her two week stay about a month back, a visit no one currently around remembered except for him. Maxism was on the rise again, thanks to the crafty graffiti he painted last Tuesday in the vacant Stairs gallery — and has added onto in the meantime.

Keep directing your stares toward Max, was the overall message he wanted to plant. Turn it up to the Max, was a related catch phrase he was tinkering with. “You can see Max anywhere from town if you turn up your draw distance to the max — 512 meters,” he explained to the 15 year old. “Fate,” he tacked on. Ruby asked about the other two religions in town and what would happen to them. “They’ll implode,” Turch said in uncharacteristic sharpness. “It’s just suppose to be Ruby — you — and Max.” But he was wrong about that.

—–

In his reinstated apartment, smoking and observing Roger Pine Ridge waited for someone to reenter Collagesity from the woods.
