Boos Interpretation 03

(continued from)

editedbossmoss01

editedbossmoss02

In the excerpts above we have two aspects of the “seed” from Boos collage 01 (“Bossmo”) and then Boos collage 02 (“Bixby Shuffle”), the same size in the pictures if we see the car in full length from 01. The twinned objects are also perpendicular to each other. We even do not know which one Oliver Wendell Douglas holds between his fingers in collage 04 (“Dirty Little Wet Seed”). It’s too small there for either a car or a license plate from same.

A license plate of a car acts as a unique identifier, another one-to-one match.

Perhaps GNIRPS can help us again here, since, after all, this is the mechanism that drove me to find this seed (Bixby-Buick-Boss triangle, etc.). There’s one Seed pop. place in the US:

seed01

Almost directly north of this place in Georgia (location seemingly reinforced by nearby Seed Lake), less than 20 miles away as the crow flies, is a community most commonly called Tate City but with a variant appellation of Tree, another rare US place name.

The pilot of a successful tv sitcom can be viewed as its seed, from which all else develops.

In the county between Seed and Tree in Georgia — Rabun — we also find place names Tiger and Persimmon. Wood from the persimmon *tree* was heavily used to make the golf clubs called woods before the popularity of metal ones. Nearby Tiger might then indicate Tiger Woods in this scenario, a very famous golfer whose surname refers to the club type, and thus back to the persimmon tree.

And then there’s also this close conjunction of names in another Georgia county called Johnson, already mentioned in the Sunklands blog.

We’ll get to more of Mr. Kite and his golfing ways down the road.

Assignments

bb:

Rather newly former Edwardston Resident is assigned the Heterocera continent. Much new history since the 2012 creation of the Frank and Herman Einstein! Blog, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Yes, but not much more will be written[ about it]. VWX Town is an endpoint. The Diagonal. The ultimate SL town for ya.

bb:

Then *you* are assigned the Nautilus continent.

Hucka D.:

Glad to be of service.

bb:

Then Karoz is assigned Jeogeot?

Hucka D.:

Too big of an assigment for him alone. You’ll have to help. You are the full time person on the job and he is your part-time assistant. Just like the [Salad] Days.

bb:

Sounds like it. How about Baker Blinker for Sansara.

Hucka D.:

Sounds good. Then Bracket Jupiter, of course, for Corsica, his home continent. Like Jeogeot is Karoz’s home continent. How about Wilsonia?

bb:

She’s from Otherland, which I don’t think I’ll write about. Similar to Azure Islands. We’ll just skip those sub-histories and focus on mainland and the 6 primary continents, 3 from the east[ern hemisphere] and 3 from the west. Jeogeot and its Pietmond as inspired by Chilbo was my main home. More posts written about that continent that almost all the others combined.

Hucka D.:

That’s why Karoz needs help. He’s limited within his circle [“Dark Side”].

bb:

So who does that leave? We’ve covered the older, eastern continents of Heterocera, Sansara and Jeogeot. Oh… Maebaleia, also Satori.

Hucka D.:

You’ll have to double up on that one.

bb:

Um, I think I’d rather have help.

Hucka D.:

It’s most linked to Jeogeot[ though].

bb:

Started with Crabwoo, a twin to Chilbo. Center urban area of *Lemon* Lab, as Chilbo was for Linden Lab, at least potentially.

Hucka D.:

Correct…

bb:

As coded within Carrcass-2. As coded within the 2002 crop circles from Chilbolton and Crabwood, 8 1/2 miles distant from each other.

Hucka D.:

The standard Second Lyfe measurement. The Measure. It all opened up when you moved to Jeogeot in May, 2009, don’t you think.

bb:

I do think.

Hucka D.:

You found the Rabbit Hole, then, linking Jeogeot and Maebaleia. The Rabbit Hole is directly from Carrcass-0, the last carrcass completed before the start of the Baker Blinker Blog, and the source of The Ancients that put Baker Blinker under a curse, and almost did the same for Baker Bloch before he broke his servitude[ to sinister Mr. Low]. The Rabbit Hole was a way for Jeogeotines to travel to Maebaleia before the days of instant [teleport]. Before the days of the Lindens, even, and their Limey lab. Lemons were the fruit of the days. Salad days[ once more]. (pause) Avatars could even smell, taste, touch in those days. The Linden Grid changed all that. Made everything square and regulated and bland bland bland. Old stuff poked through, like your Hilo Peak, like your Okinu glyphs. Like your Mr. Low below Baker Isle in the Baker sim. Like the spirits in the middle of the Kerchal Forest. These were old days bleeding through on the oldest Linden controlled continent. Salad Bar Jack knew about that as well.

bb (correcting):

Salazar Jack, Hucka D. Salazar. Salad Bar was inspired by that avatar name.

Hucka D.:

So in our mega-opus you’ll have to start with Sansara and these Ancient bleedthrough. Bleeding through from Carrcass-0. Bleeding through from pre-Carrcass days, or, in your terms the Positive Carrcassess.

—–

bb:

How about assigning Karoz to Maebaleia, Hucka D. After all, he was the one who fell through the portal linking the Korean Channel to the Blue Feather Sea.

—–

“It is the story mainly of my cousin Peter The Good, who came to Crabwoo University of Maebaleia to get educated up as a lawyer, hoping to study under the great and powerful Blue Feather Douglas, who then lived in a giant pyramid at the southern end of the Blue Feather Sea. The sea was named after him instead of visa versa?”

Hucka D.:

Already, Karoz is asking questions. Karoz, you attended Crabwoo U. as well, studing to be a Priest or Priestess of TILE.

Karoz:

TILE was the rave religion of central Maebaleia at the time. And perhaps the whole continent, since Crabwoo was the primary urban area. Bigger than Linden’s Chilbo in those days. Before the curse. The Purse Curse.

Hucka D.:

Karoz, the curse started when Biggie was extracted from the Blue Feather Sea and brought to rest in the center of the Crabwoo U. campus, on the central mall. Later mythology turns this into a giant “E”, but originally it was a fish, similar to a blue whale but also different. Why was the fish brought to the campus?

Karoz:

We needed its power. It was “hooked” up.

Hucka D.:

What does that mean?

Karoz:

It became like a battery (pause).

Hucka D.:

What were the dates?

Karoz:

Peter and I went to The Moon[ sim] afterwards. We found Biggie’s twin there. Biggie’s twin was saved from torture by removing it from Maebaleia and sending it to [ the continent’s] Moon. The Barracuda sisters, perhaps Wilson, were assigned to guard it there. They ruled 3 sims, and still do. They made purses. Curse purses. They were outside the jurisdiction of Maebaleia and Blue Feather Douglas.

Biggie was pregnant at the time of extraction[ from the Blue Feather Sea]. Oliver was the baby calf, raised originally in the Super Bowl, the 13th mainland sink or Baker’s Dozen Sink as we called it sometimes. Sometimes?

Hucka D.:

Karoz, where were you born?

Karoz:

Chilbo. Norum, Chilbo.

Hucka D.:

Your mother is Sapphire. Where was she born?

Karoz:

Yd Island.

Hucka D.:

Doesn’t Yd Island and the included Nautilus continent also have a great and powerful fish?

Karoz:

Yes. He or she controlled a 10 sim hole that was connected to Jeogeot as well. This was a later project. Jeogeot had its own Moon, but it was still under the jurisdiction of the [primary ruler of Jeogeot].

Hucak D.:

Was this Sapphire? Was she queen?

Karoz:

Of the eastern part[ of Jeogeot, yes].

Hucka D.:

And other parts, the western parts?

Karoz:

Brainard.

—–

“Biggie was seen as the 3d-ing of the TILE religion. It became the E of TILE… fulfilled. Before, TILE was seen as just going ’round in circles in perpetuity. After Biggie, it stopped, and the E became the all. The E is the Korean Channel. Directly.”

Hucka D.:

Interesting, Karoz. And thanks. Sounds like the avatars of Maebaleia created Jeogeot, built around this channel.

Karoz:

The channel was originally a giant hole or void slot, as I knew it in my younger years. I use to toss rocks into it and watch them disappear in inky blackness. Then all of a sudden the channel was there, appearing as if out of nowhere. Some people had always remembered it there, was the problem. I didn’t. I remember the inky black. I remember the void. We were called [delete name], we special people who knew the time before. It was because I was part moss.

Hucka D.:

Again much interesting, Karoz. Is this when you remembered Gene Fade, your user?

Karoz:

Yes. I remembered who my user was. And those who remember the void also remembered their user. It was a Shock.

Hucka D.:

How old were you at the time?

Karoz:

11.

Hucka D.:

You knew, then, that Sapphire was not your true mother.

Karoz:

No. I still did not know that, although I suspected. My true mother is [delete name].

Hucka D.:

You actually took a transport to the Moon of Jeogeot to find that out.

Karoz:

Yes. I saw my mother there but did not recognize her at the time. She was in frozen stasis.

Hucka D.:

When did you pass through the portal to Maebaleia from the Korean Channel?

Karoz:

23.

Hucka D.:

Did you plan this on purpose?

Karoz:

No. But it was on purpose[ by the people on the “Other Side”].

Hucka D.:

Did you know about these [people on the “Other Side”] before this?

Karoz:

Yes. They were part of Chilbo.

Hucka D.:

You lived in Norum, though.

Karoz:

Yes.

Hucka D.:

And you lived with Sapphire in what we call the House of Truth in the blogs, up until age, what 13 or 14?

Karoz:

Yes.

Hucka D.:

And when did you meet Peter?

Karoz:

I learned about Sunklands at about the age of 12.

Hucka D.:

Peter attempted to recruit you.

Karoz:

That was the [purpose].

Hucka D.:

What did he say or promise?

Karoz:

He said that all those who remember The Void are gathering in The Sunklands.

Hucka D.:

What did this mean?

Karoz:

It meant we — they — were moving to The Sunklands in order to avoid having their memory totally erased. It would not be long.

Hucka D.:

Did you go to The Sunklands?

Karoz:

Yes.

Hucka D.:

How long did you stay there?

Karoz:

7 years.

Hucka D.:

So you went to The Sunklands when you were 13 or 14?

Karoz:

17. 18.

Hucka D.:

What was happening in Sunklands?

Karoz:

Like you should ask. You were there.

Hucka D.:

I suppose I was. There was a similar void still in the center of Big Sink. Can you describe that?

Karoz:

You were in control of it.

Hucka D.:

What was it? is what I’m asking you.

Karoz:

It replaced the Korean Channel void, when the Korean Channel came. A-Z.

Hucka D.:

It has been compared to the 18th hole of a golf course, where game ends.

Karoz:

Sunklands was like a giant golf course[, yes].

Hucka D.:

But this hole was not the same as the Rabbit Hole of Blackmount.

Karoz:

No. It was in the center of Big Sink[ as stated].

Hucka D.:

And Brainard controlled the hole?

Karoz:

Brainard guarded the hole.

Hucka D.:

What does that mean?

Karoz:

You could not make eye contact with Brainard or you would be assimilated.

Hucka D.:

Sounds like no one lived in the Big Sink, then.

Karoz:

No. A Great Tree grew from its center. Similar to the Chilbo good tree but much larger. Supposedly 10 times larger.

Hucka D.:

What is the tree to Brainard.

Karoz:

The tree is Brainard. Brainard is the seed of the tree.

—–

bb:

Sorry for the pause in the action, but I understand this is coded [Seed, Tree] into north Georgia by Lisa the V. in her GNIRPS. So it must be real. And the presence of [also] Tiger and Persimmon there indicates the golf association. Brainard is like a golf ball, which dropped into the 18th hole to end game to become a seed-tree. Tree-seed. So it looks like Karoz is talking about a past-present-future situation with Brainard. Brainard can appear in his round, seed form, guarding the hole that he is destined to drop through, and he is also the future tree he is destined to become after dropping into the hole as the seed. The tree is a persimmon tree, apparently. Tiger Woods indicates trees as well. Can’t see woods for trees, etc.

—-

bb:

And further, we have Quartz here, which seems to directly indicate Lisa the V. and her Quartz Brook on Wealthy Mtn., source (seed?) of her actual wealth and ability to buy or own the mountain in the first place.

The Shining: Other Considerations 01

At 1:51:50 in, we have another partially hidden tiger behind Wendy, just as we did in the earlier Bear Pillow Scene where the psychiatrist talks to Danny about Tony. In the present scene, Wendy has just locked Jack in the “Story Room” (Hallorann’s clear words he calls the storage room, and what the great majority of viewers just pass right over), after their battle on the stairs, where Wendy konks him with a baseball bat. The obviously possessed Jack is attempting to persuade Wendy to let him out, saying he’s badly hurt, etc.

shinig11150a

Jack breaks through the REDRUM bathroom door. I wonder what is reflected in his axe — hafta check this when I get a blu-ray player. At any rate, it certainly doesn’t look like the interior of the bathroom. Maybe this *is* just a type of continuity error? Kubrick couldn’t have planned *everything* in this film. But I kind of doubt it, given the focus Kubrick puts on this particular door, and the extreme camera angle here. He probably wants us to see something (again!).

shinig12401a

This is more obviously planned: Jack’s limping stagger through the kitchen when he’s searching for Danny (after pulling off the attack of Wendy when they hear Hallorann pull up in the sno-cat) is obviously suppose to line up with the chOking poster above his head here. He wears it as he would wear a crown.

Barry > Shin(i)n(g) 02

Reading this now (for obvious reasons to those who’ve been keeping up with my new obsession)…

http://www.collativelearning.com/the%20shining%20-%20chap%2021.html

Unfortunately it looks like the chapter is not complete yet.

I recently viewed Barry Lyndon, and noticed that Lyndon’s natural child Bryan, who could double as the Danny of that film (the direct predecessor of The Shining in Kubrick’s filmography), drops a blackboard off his desk just before being abused by his older step brother Lord Bullingdon. A blackboard very similar in size to the one the tiger peers from behind in the psychiatrist scene.

goofy, tiger and head in bowl

Perhaps ironically, Bullingdon also looks like Danny in his younger years. Lord Bullingdon is in turn abused by Barry Lyndon, after he catches him red handed in the act of beating Bryan. In Ager’s 16th chapter of his Shining analysis, he mentions that Leon Vitali, who played the adult Bullingdon in Barry Lyndon, became a career-long collaborator with Stanley, and worked closely with Danny Lloyd on the set of The Shining. Ager appears to push for an intimate connection between, in effect, successive, abusive fathers Barry Lyndon and Jack Torrance, and also a ritual cycle of abuse.

I didn’t realize the resemblance between Danny and the Room 237 hag Jack sees in the mirror. Notice the very similar hair and, perhaps, even body build here. When we subsequently see the hag’s front, we realize she (he?) has no genitalia. This is neither man nor woman but alien, perhaps a dream being. Or *a child*.

237 mirror

wendy hug danny

Through these visual aids, Ager presents a strong case that Danny was both choked and sexually abused by Jack in the bedroom scene, complete with its own mirror.

sh_howsitgoingdoc

But wait, Jack was downstairs typing when the choking took place, wasn’t he? Heck, we’re back in the maze again.

strange? 02

(continued from strange? 01)

In “strange? 01”, we examined a good number of film effects in Shot 61 of “The Shining”, some of which clearly seem to be beyond the norm. Here is a composite picture of the anomalies I created at the time.

shining09

In studying the shot further, I saw additional lighting effects, but I think we may have hit the major ones in “strange? 01”. I believe the light shooting out of the psychiatrist’s head as the background tiger’s eyes realign with the top of her coat is obviously the first major effect of the shot, about 6 seconds in. The 2 spots around the dr.’s head near the end of the shot, appearing right at its last spoken word (“strange”) would be the final major effect. These form the frame to understand all else within.

Still don’t believe I’m on to something here, and these are mere film discolorations? Shots 61, 63 and 65 all have the same camera angle, and involve the psychiatrist asking Danny various questions about the vision of blood pouring out the Overlook Hotel’s elevators he experienced while brushing his teeth that day. Shots 62 and 64 switch to the same closeup of Danny, as he fields her various questions. In shot 65, which is continuous with 61-64 before it, the psychiatrist asks Danny what happened just before he started brushing his teeth. In shot 66, Danny replies that he was talking to Tony. Here’s what we see when we return to the psychiatrist, in a close up in shot 67. The blackboard in the background has moved, and now covers both tiger’s eyes!

shining1315a

In shots 63 and 65 the tiger appears as it does in the first photo of this post from shot 61, with the blackboard askew and only covering part of the tiger’s right eye. So it’s obvious that Danny’s spirit accomplice Tony and this poster tiger are suppose to be equated with each other here, with the link being well-known cereal character Tony the Tiger. The psychiatrist then asks who Tony is, and Danny’s mother Wendy rather nervously explains that it is Danny’s imaginary friend. We only see the blackboard cover both tiger’s eyes during the several closeups of the psychiatrist during this sequence, and at the end of the movie chapter taking place within this room, when we return to the same camera angle as shot 61, the blackboard likewise returns to a state of askewness.

Why did Kubrick set all this up? In looking at the whole scene in Danny’s room further, Wendy’s eyes also don’t appear right at times, like one has been “artificially” enlarged, almost a popeye effect.

shining1213a

I’m reminded here — and perhaps you the reader are as well when reading this observation of mine — that Shelly Duval played Olive Oyl in the movie Popeye, which was being conceived at the same time as the filming of The Shining.

… the scene goes black. (12:07)

After a moment, we hear a voice.

We hear a horn honk outside.

Hucka D.:

Best guess. The doctor becomes the bear at the end of that question. The askew bugs (which are Joe and Zoe!) in relation to the doctor’s hair twin the askew ears on the bear[ pillow Danny is laying on]. The hair colors (doctor and bear) are very similar; almost identical.

bb:

Wendy is similarly a twin of Goofy to the right… same colors, again (red and blue). Wendy *is* goofy. Goofy appears to be attached to a string like a puppet. She *is* a puppet.

Hucka D.:

We take turns. Tiger next to Goofy is partially hidden by a small blackboard, one eye exposed and the other covered. Tiger equals Danny’s spirit bug [sic?] Tony, like Tony the Tiger. Need proof? Tony the Tiger is seen later on a box of cereal in the stor[age] room.

bb:

Study… sorry.

Hucka D.:

Study blackboards. Dartboard, blackboards.

The Diagonal seems to be predicted in the Jasper 07 collage from 2009 (“It’s up to us now”), presently hanging in Southside’s Gallery Jack.

Snapshot1183_001

Compare its central long, keyhole shaped image (tiles from the side of a Michigan building) with here:

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2013/08/19/the-14-triplet-points-of-the-diagonal/

16x16grid09

Even the foreground tile of the picture is adorned with a “D” (the logo of the Detroit Tigers, seen on all subsequent tiles as well extending into the background), just as the first sim on The Diagonal is Dierle, and associated with the letter “D” in the above grid diagram and also in the the microcosmic replica of The Diagonal in Westside’s Church of The Diagonal (below pic; far left letter).

https://bakerbloch.wordpress.com/2013/08/02/vwx-town-stuff-02/

Snapshot1089_009

In looking further at Jasper 07, there’s no real doubt in my mind that this *is* a representation of the future, extended version of The Diagonal. Jasper 07 partially concerns — consciously, that is — the early version of The Diagonal, known only in its “Rubi exclusive” state then. See here for an interpretive post concerning Jasper 07, also from 2009.* And see here, once more, for my 2008 series about the Rubi aspect of The Diagonal if you wish.

—–

We switch subjects to VWX Town’s ties to the actual (*non*-virtual) Whitehead Crossing, or “WX” without the “V”, as it were. I see the link now mainly made through the big grey seal perched on a segment of the Power Tower Gowlery, an obvious and also conscious representation of WX’s pivotal Grey Seal (Grey Rock + Seal Stone). The stream below the virtual grey seal may also stand for WX’s Whitehead Brook, Little Whitehead, and No Name Spring one and all, as the Grey Seal rock formation lies relatively close to each.

Snapshot1169_003

Admittedly, there’s a tension between just giving up the virtual version of Whitehead Crossing — which actually has little to do with the real version except for the connections listed just above — and keeping it into October and perhaps beyond. On the one hand, I’m obviously going to be focusing more on the outdoors and Frank and Herman Parks for the next several months, taking time and energy away from Second Life. On the other hand, we have the growing story of The Diagonal, an exterior energy source for VWX Town that ties it to the whole continent of Heterocera and beyond. I’ll just have to play the two directions against each other for a while longer and see what happens. At any rate I’m certainly pleased about progress made on an interpretation of The Diagonal so far. It may even outstrip Jeogeot mysticism (Big E/Schwa, etc.) in the long run. And to close, I’d like to thank my virtual neighbor Veyot for testing out aspects of The Diagonal and calling it a very interesting theory. 🙂

* In the post, I say of this collage and central image the following:

The overall shape of the orange tiled surface, in combination with the circular shape containing the keyhole at the top of the collage, is also keyhole shaped, Hucka D. The shape runs from the very top to the very bottom of the collage. This collage also happens to be 1024 pixels wide and 682 pixels high, making a relationship of 3:2 between the sides. 1024 is the size of the parcel I just rented in Klein, Hucka D [made up, as well, originally of 2 side-by-side 512 parcels]. The middle of the orange tile lies about 512 pixels from either side as well; exact center of the collage left-to-right, then…. This despite the fact that the overall shape of Jasper 07 is not based on any found photo this time, Hucka D. It is instead *tiled* from an edited picture of a toy, found in a search for Rookwood+tiles…

Rubi and SID’s 1st Oz

An obvious link: ruby key:

http://horrordigest.blogspot.com/2010/03/return-to-oz-when-reality-creates.html

5234376803_6f4c1b4a83_z

Floyd and the Rubi Forest or Rubi Woods have been associated since the beginning for me. Key had a picture of Floyd and Barrett in his otherwise almost berift-of-objects second floor of his Rubi gallery at the time. He came to Rubi in July 2007, as I’ve found out. Must figure out how to get his variant, the actual pretend Key, to reinvest in the forest. A map, as Hucka D. reinforced to me — yes, that could be it, along with the same for Coke. Coke must not see the Rubi Forest as just Ordinary Glass.

Hucka D.:

Invite Hybuli to the next meeting. Isn’t that tonight?

bb:

Hybuli being the closest gallery owner when I opened the Power Tower Gowlery the other night, but then he deleted the kiosk as it moved across the internal sea of Heterocera. But for a moment, his was the closest. And of course I know him, especially through another.

Hybuli:

Hi, I thought I’d drop by before the meeting. How’s Chilbo doing?

[5 pages of script deleted]

Further notes (now that that interesting interruption is over!):

The grey snakelet Aspinwall is the same as the Great Linden Wall of Heterocera. An important clue: the first letters of the first three sims the wall passes through, top to bottom, form the acronym ASP (Athetis, Spini, Pyri). Then it enters Ziczac, already blog famous in Baker Blinker’s completed macro-opus. Mystery ship The Arab, passed down through The Wall beginning at Ziczac, creating The Point(of The Wall). It passed underneath the main part, through a passage which is not square but pointed. Then it reaches Rubi, Hucka D., to become SID’s 1st Oz. 26 in 1. The diagonal: Ziczac Zoe. Rubi Forest. Temple. SID’s Temple. The placement of the Edwardston Station Gallery in Rubi opens up Sylver as in Sylver Forest, the past. The Past. Later this manifested as Jeogeot, the Southern Continent.

—–

“How did The Arab pass through The Wall, Hucka D.?”

Hucka D.:

How does anything pass through anything? Luck.

bb:

Is this where Aspinwall changes to Colon?

—–

“Says here in this deleted script, Hucka D., that Aspinwall had changed to Colon by the time The Arab had reached Rubi.”

Hucka D.:

Have you ever seen a ship driven by trees? They’re all *over* the road.

bb:

Hmmm.

Hucka D.:

Have you?

bb:

Yes, maybe. Like the trees overhang the Robin Loop next to my new parcel.

Hucka D. (apparently speaking to someone else offstage):

Oh no you haven’t. There’s 3 there instead of 2. You overcharged me once more!

bb:

Who’s that, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

My agent. He’s booked 3 shows for me at once instead of the normal 2. I asked for 2. I ask for multitasking. But not 3.

bb:

Interesting. So… back to the Rubi Woods.

Hucka D.:

I think you should call Hybuli back and apologize to him. How’s he suppose to know about the positive carrcasses?

bb:

All’s I said is that I always had the suspicion that Giant Rat of Sumatra was FT’s greatest work, Hucka D., and he gave me back the usual rigamarole about FT themselves claiming Dwarf as their best. And then he named half a dozen more albums he thought were better than Rat.

Hucka D.:

The Foreign One let the Rat out of the Bag. You saw it once. In the woods. Remember?

bb:

Yes. The trap when I bought the Rubi land along the woods in 2010. Yes, that was obviously something psychic taking place. The thing in the woods knew I would buy the land there. And then Bill might have shown up last night.

Hucka D.:

Yes (!)

bb:

Did the Rat pilot The Arab[ down through The Wall and to Rubi]? It’s obviously quite queer that Hybuli shows up right when I buy the new land in Rubi. It must be the Rat again

Hucka D.:

What else did you say to Hybuli[ to offend him]?

bb:

We talked some about Zappa. We agreed that Lumpy Gravy may be his best work, because Hybuli had read the same stuff as I had about Zappa saying that very thing. So we agreed there.

Hucka D.:

Here’s his story…

SWITCH TO HUCKA D.’s EARLIER CALL TO HYBULI:

“Hell yeah! Bacon… ummmm. Love it.”

Hucka D.:

Hi yourself Hybuli. Must you always answer… well, yeah, I guess you have to answer that way. Do you know Furry Carl?

Hybuli:

He’s here now. What a meeting[ of the Sylver Forest Council] he’s describing! Couldn’t sound more exciting.

Hucka D.:

Is that sarcasm?

Hybuli:

Yeah. He actually only offered me a summer beer. Like always.

Hucka D.:

Figured as such. Listen, baker b. — you know the guy that supposedly *organized* this thing… you know Baker don’t you?… course you do.

Hybuli:

Well, I know of *a* baker. And I know [another delete name].

Hucka D.:

But you and he talked about FT last night at the meeting.

Hybuli:

I was running late because I had to close up the gallery and move it across the sea and all. Bobby Darin, thank you.

Hucka D.:

Pulling a Bobby Darin. Nice.

Hybuli:

Thank you.

Hucka D.:

But it’s… .never mind. Good one.

Hybuli:

Thanks again.

Hucka D.:

So when you arrived I had left, and then Baker was still around. How about [delete name]? Tell me all the gossip.

Hybuli:

I don’t know that person. [another delete name] was with me but he stayed outside. Said something about he and baker had split from each other. Separated at the hip, he said, and laughed. Not sure what that means, but I think it has something to do with the Lion and Tiger of Oz. Wait… (checks script). That’s your line, sorry.

Hucka D.:

Just back it up a bit. Just end with the line you were suppose to end with. Ready… just begin again now.

Hybuli:

Now?

Hucka D.:

Yes, now. Go…

Hybuli:

Not sure *what* that means?

Hucka D.:

Nice emphasis. Ahem, yeah, I think *that* has *something* to do with the *Lion* and Tiger of *Oz*.

END FLASHBACK

—–

Hucka D.:

So you see, he did it to me as well. Tried to double back on me. Trap me in a corner, like you were symbolically trapped by that Rat in Rubi. Ratti.
